The wall-embedded material storage cabinets slid out automatically, displaying multiple kinds of Advanced tal materials on magnetic levitation tracks, ready and waiting.
The central workstation’s quantum welding arm was already preheated, its tip glowing with a dark red luminescence.
"Tsk..." Li Ming glanced around at the array of new instrunts and equipnt, his hands itching to get to work.
Several days later, grimacing with concentration, he clasped two irregular titanium plates into the positioning fixture; the welding arm imdiately spewed a blue-violet arc, the spraying tal slag captured by a circular vacuum, coalescing into glowing spherical crystals on the filter net.
Towards the left, twenty-four gear blanks rose from a mini-forging platform, and Li Ming synchronized adjustnts to the gravitational punch paraters, the stamping sound and the arc weld buzz harmonizing into a steady rhythm.
Three hours later, the workstation ejected a completed assembly of the Shield Generator prototype, comprising twenty-four shuttle-shaped crystals.
Li Ming inserted a neural link chip into the interface, whereupon the crystalline structures illuminated, swiftly swirling around him to sketch out crystalline rays.
They ford a substantial defense shield, and the main body remained highly mobile.
During testing, a high-energy beam gun expelled a five-centiter-long plasma cutter blade.
The blade’s edge skimd over the test steel target, leaving a semi-molten vitreous tallic scar.
But when it passed his Energy Shield, it caused no damage at all.
