Chapter 532: Chapter 376_2
“It’s been less than two hours since the start, and soone was already eliminated!?”
“Damn, they haven’t even figured out the terrain, and soone can already ‘kill’ others?”
“How did they do that?”
After checking the information on the production team’s phone, he quickly picked up another phone in his hand and began typing.
Yes, he had a second phone, borrowed from a tourist.
Jianwu was a YouTube video host, the one Jin Huiyan had shown to Wu Mu earlier, the fitness blogger who summoned other contestants through a video.
Thanks to the previous video, he managed to gather several people, agreeing to act together after joining the program, and once they’ve eliminated all others, they would compete for the first place among themselves.
But because the production team’s deploynt was random, they couldn’t act imdiately.
That doesn’t an they weren’t able to contact each other.
“This is Jianwu. Where are you currently located? I’m at Asakusa Temple in Tokyo Taito District. Have you seen the elimination ssage? Any clues?”
At the mont, he was posting in a small community online that wasn’t being watched, attempting to reach other teammates.
This was a small trick he noticed before the recording started.
The production team stipulated that contestants couldn’t use phones to contact friends privately for extra help, but what if he contacted fellow contestants from the program?
They just had to agree in advance on a deserted public community, and when the program started, borrowing a phone from a tourist, they could reach each other right at the start.
Jianwu’s chat was quickly responded to by teammates who also borrowed phones.
“This is Li Shujun, I’m now under Tokyo Skytree Tower! I’ve seen the elimination ssage but couldn’t find any clues… They must have encountered each other coincidentally, which led to mutual elimination.”
His teammate didn’t seem to find this situation as serious, just a re coincidence, two players eting each other and impulsively wanting to eliminate each other, what’s strange about knocking one side out?
But Jianwu shook his head, wishing it were that simple, “They definitely didn’t just et by chance! If you carefully look at the map provided by the production team at the start, you’ll see that each contestant was deployed at a relatively distant location.”
“The production team must have designed it to prevent contestants from eting too early, placing them at distances hard to cover by walking. Yet, now two have gone together, aning one of them definitely used transportation.”
Using transportation in such a short ti after the start… Jianwu believed that person either isn’t simple or has a unique advantage.
Anyway, they need to be extra cautious with that person.
But this teammate Li Shujun remained cheerful, “Perhaps they asked for a ride right at the start, like us borrowing a phone. As long as they could communicate, catching a ride shouldn’t be a problem. You worry too much, Jianwu.”
That seed more unlikely too.
What’s the point of catching a ride to a strange place?
The initially deployed location is unfamiliar, then after catching a ride, isn’t the place still unfamiliar?
Choosing to move must an having a plan in mind, a purpose, or being settled to the extent that they would move.
Jianwu shook his head internally, looking at this optimistic teammate, hesitated, and asked, “Shujun, which group are you part of?”
He learned only after the recording started that the contestants were indeed divided into groups.
He assud himself in the societal elite group.
As for this teammate…
Li Shujun took a bit to respond, and after a while, replied, “Jianwu, I need to return the phone to the tourist I borrowed it from. Is there a eting point? Where are we gathering?”
…
“How is it possible for soone to be eliminated!”
Jin Huiyan, strolling in Tokyo Dream Island Park, was shocked.
Such a quick elimination, she just managed to find sothing to eat, and soone already took out an opponent?
Wait, number four?
Jin Huiyan’s eyes narrowed, quickly pondering, then turned toward the nearby cara to express, “This number four must be Wu Mu, the production team”

(A one and a half hour edit)
However, before reaching the hotel, he unexpectedly noticed a familiar face on the roadside.
Oh, what’s she doing here?
Wu Mu curiously observed a figure standing at the entrance of a restaurant ahead.
It was Su ng, whom he’d t long ago at the first issue of Star Agency.
She stood by a red Ferrari, looking angry and talking to soone inside the car.
Wu Mu couldn’t see clearly who was inside the Ferrari, but that person was evidently strong-tempered, for after just a few exchanges, they stepped on the gas and drove off, leaving Su ng where she stood.
Only Su ng was left standing there, frowning and glaring at the spot.
Wu Mu chuckled, drove closer, rolled down the window, and teased, “Little Su, long ti no see.”
Su ng turned her head to look over with a slightly startled expression.
This was only their second face-to-face eting outside of the agency.
But Su ng seed to follow his trends, as Wu Mu frequently received feedback from Su ng about his new songs on WeChat.
Not much of a chat, just simple praises about how the songs sounded nice.
Well, whether black or white fans, at least she contributed views.
Wu Mu smiled, “Your driver left, huh? Want to take you ho?”
Su ng hesitated a bit, “Let call my family first.”
“Aunt Qing, you don’t need to co over. Yeah, a friend is giving a ride ho. Okay, I know.”
Once she finished the call, Su ng opened Wu Mu’s passenger door and got in.
After asking about her destination, Wu Mu was a bit curious, “Aren’t you from Shen City, what brings you here?”
Su ng shook her head, “I’m from Shen City, but my family also owns a house here in Beijing.”
She paused, with a rare smile, “Earlier at the venue, my friends wanted to cover their ears during your first song.”
Wu Mu laughed heartily, “That’s got nothing to do with , my singing was spot on.”
Chatting casually, Wu Mu soon dropped Su ng off at a grand courtyard near the Forbidden City in the Upper City District.
Yep, she’s definitely a Heavenly Dragon Person.
Wu Mu was quite surprised, although he could tell from daily behavior and speech that Su ng’s family was likely wealthy.
But not expecting this wealthy.
This courtyard must be worth at least
Unable to et the owner for now, Yang Rongfa asked, “A bunch of top directors and company bosses are here today; want to introduce you?”
It was an opportunity for normal insiders.
eting more people is always beneficial.
But… recalling the previous gathering experience, Yang Rongfa wisely chose to ask.
Wu Mu shook his head, “Not…”
Yet midway through shaking, his gaze swept past the entrance of the guest hall to a partially hidden figure in a side lounge, hesitating briefly.
“Is Director Lin also here?” Wu Mu inquired Yang Rongfa.
He referred not to Lin Qingyue, but Lin Qingyue’s father, Lin Xueming.
Even though Lin Qingyue was coming back tonight, she had to deal with crew matters, so wouldn’t be here.
Moreover, he had spoken with Lin Qingyue about attending this gathering earlier in the day, so if Lin Qingyue were here, she’d surely ntion it.
“Yes, Tang Wei and Xie Chunfang are also around.” Yang Rongfa nodded.
Wu Mu pondered the two nas; they were high-level directors in the industry, akin to Lin Xueming, top figures in the circle.
He didn’t intend to curry favor with these big directors for resources, so they didn’t concern him.
But with Lin Xueming present, it would be inappropriate not to greet him.
“I’ll go say hello to Director Lin.” He promptly strode toward the small lounge.
“Director Lin is also here, want to go say hi?” Yang Rongfa whispered.
While speaking, he gestured toward the small lounge beside the main guest hall.
