A question mark appeared in Tianyi’s mind. He had not even really taken action, so how had he been exposed? Or was the warrior’s family actually deeply connected with faith? Still, Tianyi didn’t spring into action. What if this were all a coincidence?

Granted, when so many coincidences happened, it was not a coincidence but fate or a plan. That didn’t an Tianyi would engage in battle, as that was too foolish.

Although Tianyi inhabited the baby’s body, he had not altered it at all, aning that all the nerves and motor skills had not developed. Even if he wanted to speak through the baby, it would still look like a regular baby. It also ant that the divinity in mortal skin did not hide his presence. Otherwise, Tianyi would not have been able to sense his presence.

The baby babbled, reaching out toward the divinity in mortal skin.

The divinity took action. The next thing Tianyi knew, he saw darkness. When he felt the baby’s body being destroyed, he instantly shifted into a speck of dust again. The attack was powerful, but it could not penetrate his dinsion barrier. Or perhaps that unknown divinity did not use that much strength, thinking it was overkill.

Tianyi could perceive the outside world, but when he gazed at the unknown divinity, he looked down, and their gazes connected. Or at least Tianyi thought so. All the divinity in mortal skin saw was a dusty ground, free of any furniture.

The divinity looked around for a bit before walking out. Even then, Tianyi did not move. What if the divinity ca back to check the cri scene, per se?

The wait lasted several years. It wasn’t long after that before the servants discovered him missing. It caused a huge scandal. Although the body Tianyi possessed was not particularly favored, it was still of noble blood. A child of noble blood disappearing caused big trouble.

All the servants were punished, and the unlucky ones were executed by horse dismbernt. That was only the beginning of the trouble. The family soon discovered that the head of the family, the warrior that gave them prestige, had disappeared. Now, they no longer cared about Tianyi’s disappearance. They desperately needed to elect a new head, soone with power and potential, to stave off rivals until they could recover.

Tianyi didn’t know if they had succeeded because he had already left. After so investigation, he discovered that the unknown divinity had likely possessed the warrior’s body and never returned.

Still, he did not have enough information, so he searched for another body to possess. Tianyi suspected that the divinity was in charge of life and death. When Tianyi possessed the body, he discovered that a baby who should have died was alive and healthy, making him co out and correct the mistake.

Then again, causing a warrior to disappear for a newborn seed like a high cost to pay, but perhaps it was more important to maintain the balance of life and death.

Tianyi searched for another body to possess. This ti, he chose a child with a deficient soul. Although years had passed, the child remained dull. His brain had no trouble, but his soul was collapsing. He chose the mont the soul almost collapsed and entered the child’s body.

When the original soul collapsed, Tianyi froze it. He did not act out of place and maintained a dull appearance. He planned to gradually reveal a sharpening mind so as not to arouse suspicion.

Unfortunately, he could not maintain this guise for long. A few months passed, and just as Tianyi started showing normal cognitive abilities, he saw the body’s father. Although the skin was different, the gaze did not change. The divinity found him again!

Unlike before, the divinity tried to capture him. Tianyi released the frozen soul and transford back into a speck of dust. The soul imdiately collapsed. It didn’t even have a chance to beco a ghost. Unlike the Three Thousand Immortal Realms System, reincarnation didn’t exist in the Tengri System. Upon death, the soul either dissipated or ascended to a higher realm due to their faith.

The divinity tried searching for Tianyi but received nothing. He even mobilized greater power to see if he could force Tianyi out. To this end, the sky changed, causing the mortals to kneel in fear at the celestial phenonon.

Alas, his ans could not penetrate Tianyi’s dinsion boundary. Coupled with his small size, the divinity gained nothing. Still, he did not leave and stared at the child’s corpse, as if his gaze alone would force Tianyi to co out.

Would Tianyi reveal himself? Of course not.

And so the stalemate continued. The divinity didn’t mind waiting, but Tianyi did. He knew that conquering the Tengri System would take a long ti, but the faster the better. So, he smuggled another conduit inside the Tengri System.

The second conduit landed on the fourth planet. Tianyi failed the first and second tis, but you know what they say: third ti’s the charm.

Tianyi searched for another thod to investigate. Unfortunately, he was still found out. Unlike the first two tis, an unknown divinity possessed a woman this ti. Like before, she did not leave and continued to stare at Tianyi’s last known location.

The two divinities emanated different auras, but Tianyi felt that the two shared so similarities. Perhaps relatives?

That did not concern Tianyi too much. After three failures, he felt annoyed. He didn’t know if his repeated attempts had allowed the divinities of the Tengri System to sense his location, but he continued testing. Tianyi dispatched a third conduit to infiltrate the Tengri System.

Tianyi’s fourth attempt bore better results. However, before he could gain much information, he was discovered by another divinity and destroyed. Like the previous attempt, that divinity stayed behind. Now, three of Tianyi’s conduits could not move, but it didn’t matter. He could create countless conduits.

He dispatched a fourth conduit into the Tengri System. This ti, he took over the identity of a commoner, suspecting that using the bodies of noble bloodlines caused his exposure. Unfortunately, he was still exposed, and much faster than on his fourth attempt.

At this point, Tianyi didn’t want to give up. He wanted to see how many divinities the Tengri System had. Because he didn’t dare to use his divine sense, he couldn’t know the exact nature of the divinities that locked onto him. Were they divinities of law or faith?

Still, it was a good chance to gather information on how many divinities the Tengri System had. When his seventh attempt failed, Tianyi dispatched multiple conduits at once. He didn’t use them simultaneously, as he wanted to give the illusion that it was still one person sneaking in. Granted, that assumption would fall through if the Tengri divinities could sense his conduits when they were hidden as specks of dust, but better safe than sorry.

The number of Tianyi’s attempts soon reached double digits. He didn’t limit himself to the second, third, and fourth planets. He also infiltrated the other planets. The outer planets took much longer to be exposed, but Tianyi didn’t find much value in them.

The fastest Tianyi was exposed was his venture onto the first planet. Upon entering, he was imdiately discovered, even as a speck of dust. A divinity appeared and froze the surrounding space. Tianyi didn’t know if they couldn’t sense him or not, but he destroyed the conduit and dispatched another conduit to investigate.

The divinity was still there, locking down space. It seed that they couldn’t detect Tianyi’s exact presence. Even if he left, they would not be sure. This discovery gave him more confidence.

Tianyi had almost given up all hope of hiding and investigating more information about the structure and secrets of the Tengri System, but he did not give up on revealing how many divinities the system birthed. Furthermore, Tianyi discovered a strange feature of all the divinities: each one shared so similarities with the others.

If so divinities shared semblance, it could be explained as family or learning the sa thods, but all of them? This gave credence to Tianyi’s theory that Tengri had fused with the system, though not all doubts were dispelled. As a system controller, he could also form incarnations, but he would never make them all share similarities.

He continued his attempts, forcing more and more divinities to appear.

While doing so, two of the conquered systems reached the appointed location. It was Spaceti Divine System Number One and another system he conquered that did not possess a World Will. When he conquered his first system, it had already started to move. As for the other one, it was simply the closest.

When the two fused systems t, Tianyi attempted to rge them. Upon contact, Tianyi discovered that although there were so conflicts, they were mostly material and not spiritual. His two conduits originated from the sa source, and as long as he could rge both systems’ material aspects, they could beco one.

It was a long process, and through it, Tianyi discovered his increasing mastery of the myriad laws. Because of this, he diverted more attention away from the Tengri System. He just let his conduits expose themselves before hiding imdiately to attract more divinities. Since he couldn’t hide, it was okay to brute-force it a bit.

The third Spaceti Divine System arrived, but Tianyi did not attempt to rge them again. He had to wait for the first rger to succeed. When the fourth arrived, he started rging it with the third one. In total, four systems had begun to rge.

Before the four systems completed their rger, Tianyi reached his hundredth attempt in the Tengri System. To his surprise, no new divinity showed up to stop him.

Was that it? Did the Tengri System house ninety-eight divinities?

No, even though Tianyi did not gain much information, he still learned that their mortals believed in ninety-nine gods, or tngri, as they were known. Tngri were split into two groups, the white gods and the black gods. The forr group had fifty-five mbers, was known as benevolent, and was associated with the West. The latter group was associated with the East, and the forty-four mbers were known for their terror.

It made no sense for there not to be a ninety-ninth divinity—especially since the last one should be God King Tengri himself, the most powerful of the divinities and suspected system conqueror.

Tianyi didn’t think his hundredth attempt had succeeded. He didn’t take much precaution and was waiting for a divinity to appear. Maybe he was still injured and could not appear? If that was the case, it would be good news.

He continued to act up. This ti, he took action more openly, kidnapping a high priest and controlling his soul. A divinity appeared, but it was one he had seen before—one of the divinities surveying one of his previous conduits that had disappeared.

Tianyi did not give up and continued to probe, but no matter his actions, the god king never revealed himself. This made him more and more confident in his injury theory. He even allowed one of his conduits to fight one of the divinities, revealing that they had the power of a peak immortal sovereign.

Perhaps they weren’t at their full strength, but Tianyi continued to test. He even allowed two conduits to take action, and both divinities that fought were only at the sa level.

He did not stop, but while continuing his probe, Tianyi began to plan to use Chaos Fusion on the Tengri System. Unlike the previous system, this system might already have a master, so Tianyi created ten realm conduits with peak foundation and turned them into powerful divine conduits.

Of course, he waited until the four systems rged into two systems in order to maximize the benefits and increase his comprehension of the worldly laws. With the boosted mastery, the divine world created before was even more powerful.

And so, ten thousand years later, Tianyi took action.
