Tianyi pretended to browse the top floor of the Sutra Repository for a bit longer before leaving. To hide his intention, he chose as many techniques as possible, using up all his quota.

After leaving and returning to his gifted abode, Tianyi waited a few more days before a monk delivered a box. Inside, there were eleven silver and golden bodhi seeds. Although they were only used to store information, just glancing at them would cause mortal cultivators to get a headache. The weaker ones might even faint outright.

Although there were no tags attached to them, Tianyi could still differentiate which technique they recorded based on aura alone. To keep up appearances, he did not study the World Fusion thod first. In fact, he was surprised that the Buddhists gave it to him so easily.

Tianyi did not pick up the bodhi seeds containing the artificer thods, but instead the body refinent bodhi seeds. In the Three Thousand Immortal Realms System, Buddhism was famous for its body refinent thods. At the peak, a Buddhist’s flesh could even overpower the naturally powerful demons in brute strength. It wasn’t just raw strength; they could train a golden body that was almost impervious to harm.

He had selected three body refinent techniques. Two used lightning, while the third was more general. It took longer to practice and did not reach the sa peak, but it was universal with fewer drawbacks and required fewer resources.

Tianyi closed his eyes as he held a bodhi seed in his palm. The thod of body refinent entered his mind. After digesting all the information, he felt the fa was indeed warranted. The only problem was that his divine conduit could not practice the thod. Like his original body, it was no longer a body of flesh and blood.

In fact, most cultivators would abandon their physical body upon reaching the Divine Realm, turning it into an energy body. It might look like flesh, but the difference was wider than heaven and earth. Buddhism rejected this thod and focused on strengthening the body itself.

He hadn’t chosen these techniques for himself, but to contribute to the Heavenly Immortal Court. Just because he couldn’t use them didn’t an other people couldn’t. Of course, they would need to be modified to suit the cultivation thod of the spiritual and martial path. Perhaps only martial cultivators could successfully adapt Buddhism’s body refinent.

Had it been before, Tianyi might have taken interest, but right now he was pressed for ti and couldn’t be bothered. Let other people worry about it. It was already a big harvest for the Heavenly Immortal Court to acquire these thods.

Next, Tianyi studied the artificer thods. Due to his strength, importance, and the Heavenly Immortal Court’s appeasent, he had access to many of the core thods of the Heavenly Immortal Court. Even without Buddhism’s artificer thods, he could still refine a divine artifact, but broadening his horizons was never a wrong choice.

Compared to the thods of the Heavenly Immortal Court, Buddhism’s approach relied more on the passage of ti to temper the artifact and elevate its essence. The upside was that it required fewer materials. Even if he failed, more of the materials could be recycled. After recalculating, Tianyi discovered that he could refine four divine artifacts if they all succeeded—five, if he was lucky.

The downside was, of course, the ti and effort the artificer needed to invest. However, the long tifra was perfect for Tianyi. He could use the excuse of refining a divine artifact in order to delay unnecessary interactions with Buddhism and study the World Fusion thod.

After reading all the other thods he had picked, Tianyi finally held the bodhi seed containing the World Fusion thod. The previous bodhi seeds had all vanished into thin air after he absorbed the information within them. They hadn’t disappeared by teleportation; they simply destroyed themselves. It figured that Buddhism would have a defensive chanism to prevent its core thods from being stolen or smuggled.

Tianyi closed his eyes as the information entered his mind. His actions did not provide any concrete benefits for digesting the information, but he felt that they helped. Probably because of the placebo effect, Tianyi felt as though the information was clearer and easier to understand.

When Tianyi opened his eyes again, he understood the history of the World Fusion thod. It wasn’t a Buddhist thod, but a relic of the Trimurti System. The reason the Trimurti could split into three god-kings and have their avatars beco the countless divinities of the system was that they had fused with the system itself, granting them unparalleled control and influence.

It was thanks to this fusion that the Trimurti System entered such a dilapidated state after the death of Brahma, Visnu, and Shiva. It was only after Buddhism arrived and rged the Pure Lands Pseudo-System with the Trimurti System that its recovery could begin.

Still, it seed that fusing a divine world with a system did not grant immortality. Theoretically, the rger should have made the Trimurti immortal as long as the system still existed, yet this was not the case.

When Buddhism discovered this thod, it also added its own insights into the matter. They hypothesized that the Trimurti fell while the system remained in existence because three divinities had fused their divine worlds with the system instead of one. This connected all three of them, but because they were not originally one, the fusion was imperfect.

The story has been illicitly taken; should you find it on Amazon, report the infringent.

Perhaps the divinity realized that it could not fully rge with a large system using only its own divine world, which was why it invited other divinities. Once the process started, it could not be stopped. There could be only two results: success or failure. Failure would result in the system absorbing the divine world as nutrients. Even if the divinity did not die, he would never be able to form another divine world again and would beco a false divinity.

Even if the divinity had divine-level clones, the fusion would still be imperfect. That said, this wasn’t sothing Tianyi had to consider right now.

The World Fusion thod was incomplete. Even though Buddhism had discovered it, it was only a fragnt.

No wonder Buddhism so generously allowed him to redeem such a heaven-defying thod. Tianyi had no illusions that the true core thods of Buddhism were securely locked away and hidden from him. Even if he gained their trust, they still might not grant him access to them.

Tianyi didn’t think this was unfair. Because Buddhism hadn’t sheltered and raised him from the beginning, it was impossible for them to completely trust him. Even those raised from weakness might betray, much less a guest elder invited from outside.

He entered UFO MK II again, completely closing himself off from the world. The Sūryaḥ Buddha understood his intentions and did not send anyone to bother him. He would have plenty of ti to restore the World Fusion thod. Of course, his main body would be in charge of that. The divine conduit would focus on refining a divine artifact of lightning.

If ti passed and he had nothing to show for it, it would be too suspicious.

In the True Nothingness, Tianyi’s remaining realm conduit stood alone. He planned to transform this realm conduit into a second divine conduit. Since he had found the World Fusion thod, he decided to halt his exploration of the Nine Hells Abyss. Although it was a painful price, he could always create more realm conduits if he really needed them.

Tianyi did not plan to use the Divine Law of Lightning to create a divine world for this realm conduit. Instead, he planned to use his Divine Law of Spaceti, the one he majored in. Compared to the Law of Lightning, the Law of Spaceti undoubtedly held a greater mystery, one that should be conducive to fusing a spaceti divine world with a system.

Because he had already mastered the Law of Spaceti, Tianyi did not need to waste ti elevating a law to the divine level. The inner realm manifested in the conduit’s body. The Law of Spaceti altered it, causing the land, sea, and sky to disintegrate into chaos. What was left could only be called the void. It even resembled the Vast Void without the three thousand realms.

When the divine conduit released a breath, a white mist filled with golden sparkles escaped his lips. It exuded a sense of distance. Even if soone stood directly in front of it, they would feel that they would grasp nothing if they reached forward.

Tianyi’s divine conduit raised its hand and clenched it. Compared to the lightning divine conduit, the spaceti divine conduit gave him a more intuitive sense of the difference between a regular divinity and himself.

He went about testing the power of the divine conduit.

First, he tested its teleportation ability. Like his main body, Tianyi’s spaceti divine conduit possessed the power to teleport in the True Nothingness. It had an easier ti than pure divinities of space because of the additional ti attribute.

Compared with his usual conduit, it used even less energy. That changed the farther the spaceti divine conduit had to teleport. Unlike his main body, the distance actually mattered. After a certain point, the energy required to teleport rose exponentially, and the cost far outweighed the benefits. Perhaps only after he raised the mystery contained in his Law of Spaceti would the spaceti divine conduit be able to teleport from system to system.

The second thing Tianyi tested was whether creating a teleportation portal was possible. It was, but the energy cost was even higher than teleportation. For every second it existed, it felt as if Tianyi had been constantly teleporting for just as long. Not to ntion the similar rising cost correlating with distance. The exponential rise was even more absurd than teleporting!

As for the last matter, it was the size of his divine world. Although he had created it, it still took so ti for it to grow to its limit. The ti required was over a hundred years.

Normally, divinities needed to generate their own energy or absorb external sources to fuel the expansion of their divine worlds. Tianyi simply threw his spaceti divine conduit into the Nine Heavens Universe and practically force-fed it energy. Otherwise, it might have taken over ten thousand years at the very least.

Even then, the ti it took was still four tis as long as when the lightning divine conduit expanded its divine world. Tianyi had taken the sa action for both of them, and this was the result. On the upside, the spaceti divine world was over ten tis larger than the lightning divine world.

One reason was that the Law of Spaceti held a higher position than the Law of Lightning, but another was that the Law of Spaceti was extrely suited for creating a divine world. This was another reason why Tianyi chose to construct the second divine conduit using the Law of Spaceti.

In the World Fusion thod, the larger the divine world, the greater the chance of success.

Of course, Tianyi had only just gotten started on restoring the World Fusion thod. It was impossible for him to succeed so quickly. And it was impossible for him to really attempt it right now with his spaceti divine conduit. Even if he did, he would never use it on the Three Thousand Immortal Realms System.

He wanted to test it out on a smaller system first. In addition, Tianyi didn’t know what would happen to the native life once the system and divine world successfully rged. Perhaps the natives would continue to live, but it was just as possible for them all to perish upon completion.

That was why Tianyi wanted to find a system with fewer living beings. If push ca to shove, Tianyi didn’t think he was noble enough to allow his mother to remain controlled just so native lifeforms could continue to exist. If it ca to that, he believed he would prioritize his mother over strangers.

In addition to that, the system needed to have no divinities guarding it, or else it would be impossible. It also couldn’t be a mber of the All Pantheon Alliance.

And so, the spaceti divine conduit returned to the Nine Heavens Universe and focused on stabilizing and expanding its divine world. Tianyi’s countless conduits searched the True Nothingness for undiscovered systems.
