Yun Xialan watched silently as her husband and the other reincarnators conversed. The talent each reincarnator had and cultivated astounded her. Even the weakest ones, Gao Chushi and Gu Chuan, all had their own specialties that were either unrivaled or were near unmatched. Tianyi himself was a monstrous example, practically a miracle. As much as she respected Yan Nie, she knew that he didn’t hold a candle to Tianyi. At least not now.

Of course, it could also be that she only saw successful cases. Many reincarnators might have perished, and the only reason why so of them appeared was because they caught Tianyi’s eyes, thus gaining his invisible protection. Which allowed them to reach their current height.

“What’s wrong?” Yan Nie whispered into her ears. “Do you feel left out?”

Yan Nie didn’t think it was strange. He had no intention of hiding his status as a reincarnator from his wife. He might have hidden it if he was the only one, but since there are others, and from what Tianyi said it was not impossible for others to discover that he was a reincarnator, he didn’t bother.

It was different for his family. As early as the end of the unification war, the Yan Clan rose to prominence thanks to him. Even if there was only a single immortal, the Yan Clan was still one of the peak clans of the Huang Realm. After all, Yan Nie was an immortal monarch, an expert even in the modern climate.

His family was a different story.

After Yan Nie rose, he naturally tried his best to promote all his imdiate family mbers into the Immortal Realm. Luckily, his grandparents were no longer present, or else he would have an even greater burden. As for his secondary family mbers like uncles or cousins, he could provide resources to make their cultivation path smooth, but unless they had a close relationship with him, it was impossible for him to pile on resources onto them like he did with his imdiate family mbers.

Although he was a pill monarch with high combat power, it was still an astronomical price to promote his imdiate family mbers to the Immortal Realm. Luckily, their Immortal Ascension Heavenly Tribulations were weak because they relied on resources to reach their current realm. Although they were true immortals, they were the weakest ones, and many talented venerables probably had a high chance of defeating them.

That wasn’t important to Yan Nie. He only cared about whether his family mbers could accompany him in his long life. As for eternity, he could worry about it when he beca a divinity. He himself hadn’t reached that level. How could he help his family?

Because he experienced the brutality of the apocalypse, Yan Nie valued family warmth even more. It was also for this reason he decided to keep his status as a reincarnator a secret from his family mbers.

He knew that he was Yan Nie and he did not swallow the real baby’s soul, but would others think so or believe him? Even if they did, would they be able to accept that he was not purely theirs? After all, before his rebirth, he had to have another family. With his current status, none of the Yan Clan mbers would dare to say anything, but he didn’t want to be isolated from his father or brothers.

Yan Nie could accept his brother’s distance, but his father’s rejection would devastate him. He already had deep feelings for his father after rebirth, but it only increased when he lost his title as a genius in his early years. During that ti, the only escape from the malice was his father’s warm presence.

Although he and Tianyi were very different, they had similar fears.

Of course, Yan Nie didn’t want to focus on such troubling thoughts right now. He placed a hand on his wife’s belly, and a gentle smile grew on his face. His eyes glowed with expectation.

“No, I don’t feel left out. I just don’t understand so things said. I recognize each individual word, but when strung together, I can’t understand it anymore,” Yun Xialan said. She pushed her husband’s hand away and glared at him, cheeks blushing.

“Well, it’s understandable. The culture is very different compared to Earth. Many people would probably feel the sa if they hadn’t experienced it themselves,” Tianyi said. His smile turned teasing. “Congratulations, by the way. Do you know if it’s a boy or a girl?”

“Thank you,” Yan Nie said, his face beaming. The others also caught on thanks to Tianyi’s words and congratulated the soon-to-be father. “It’s still too early to tell if it’s a boy or girl, but I personally want the child to be a girl as cute as Xialan.”

Yun Xialan quickly covered his mouth with a heavy blush on her cheeks. “Brother Nie, stop talking.”

“Do you want to check?” Tianyi asked. “As long as I use the Law of Spaceti, I can give you an estimate.”

“You can’t directly determine it?” Gu Chuan asked.

Tianyi shook his head. “The future is ever changing. Unless I force the probability to remain stagnant, I can’t determine the future.”

“Doesn’t that imply you have the ability to?” Gan Xuehua asked.

“It’s dangerous. If I force it, heavenly punishnt will rain down on ,” Tianyi said. “The sa applies to the past. Once I change the past, I would change the present, and I would have to withstand the backlash of the tiline. The greater the change, the greater the backlash. So so things are impossible.”

Many of them sucked in a cold breath. Even though Tianyi said it would cost him big ti, it still didn’t change the fact that Tianyi had the power to alter the present and future.

“Will it cause any harm if you peek into the future?” Yan Nie asked.

Tianyi waved his hands. “Don’t worry. I’m only looking into the possible futures and calculating a probability. I’m not really choosing the future.”

Of course, such a technique would undoubtedly consu a lot of qi, but once again, qi problems were no problems in Tianyi’s eyes. Even if he had to determine the future actions of an emperor or sovereign, Tianyi would worry more about the technique failing than the qi wastage.

Most of the reincarnators stared at Tianyi, wondering how he would perform such a miraculous technique. Under everyone’s gazes, Tianyi opened his third eye.

Tianyi’s third eye was no longer the Truth-Seeking Eye. As early as when he beca an immortal, the Truth-Seeking Eye was no longer as helpful. He would need to spend an exorbitant amount of resources to upgrade it. So resources could not even be obtained without the aid of a divinity, or no longer exist in the modern world.

He still had the original eye, but he just kept it in storage in case he had the chance to upgrade it. The current third eye was actually one of his conduits, just in a different shape. After Tianyi created the Nine Heavens Nebula Formation, he had been looking for other loopholes to exploit in order to increase his power aside from improving his comprehension of the myriad laws.

The One Heaven Eye was the result of Tianyi’s attempts. Although it opened itself, there was a thin film covering it and shielding it from the detection of the Heavenly Dao. Of course, it wasn’t completely shielded, so the third eye was only a level two point five conduit. Tianyi originally wanted a level three conduit, but it was fine for now.

Needless to say, if two of Tianyi’s conduits fought together, his fighting power would dramatically increase. Especially if both of them were level three conduits. Ideally, Tianyi wanted his normal state to be the sa as when he ford the Nine Heavens Nebula Titan, but that would likely take a long ti. As long as the universe boundary reached that level, his hard power would reach the divine level. It would almost an that he could still use his techniques and spells, even if they did not reach the sa height.

Tianyi’s third eye was not black like his normal eyes, but pale gold. It exuded a divine light, and argent swirls revolved within, like a galaxy. All those who gazed into it would feel as if their soul was pulled out and stretched like a spiral.

Gao Chushi and Gu Chuan almost lost consciousness. The brief lapse made them sway, but it also helped them to divert their gaze—though they still had to stabilize themselves unless they wanted to fall down. Not only that, they cradled their heads with their hands. It felt as if their brain had grown twice their original size and was pushing against their skulls.

Gan Xuehua and Xi Ri were only marginally better. Their faces paled, and their bodies swayed a bit, but otherwise, showed no other signs of disorientation.

Only Daoyi and Yan Nie could continue to stare into Tianyi’s third eye. Daoyi because of her attainnts in soul thods, while Yan Nie held on because of his strong willpower and cultivation base.

The only one who didn’t react was Yun Xialan. She just looked at Tianyi in confusion. Or rather, where he sat. To Yun Xialan, Tianyi suddenly disappeared the mont the fla mark on his forehead opened to reveal an eye. Next, the people around her all acted differently.

It only lasted a few seconds, and Tianyi appeared again in front of her. She only had ti to glimpse his third eye closing. Yun Xialan didn’t have ti to care about why Tianyi disappeared because he had a strange expression on his face. Her heart jumped. “Grand Elder Nine Heavens, is there anything wrong?”

“Wrong? No, the birth of your child is extrely successful. I’m puzzled because there is a ninety-nine percent chance of that child being a girl,” Tianyi said.

A big smile appeared on Yan Nie’s face. “Did you hear that, Xialan? We’re going to have the cutest daughter in the world. What should we na her? Yan Xiao, no, how about Yan Lin? Hmm, Yan Ling works just as well. What do you think, Xialan?”

She expressed her thoughts by slapping the hand that was rubbing her stomach again. “Have so sha. There’s people watching. We can discuss this in private.”

Yan Nie didn’t care. He grabbed Yun Xialan’s hand and brought it to his cheeks. “What sha is there to express my eternal love for my cute and lovely wife?”

“You—!” Yun Xialan cried out in anger. Upon closer inspection, her face was flushed, but not because of anger. She was like a young girl, falling in love all over again.

Tianyi pulled his collar. Was it just him, or was it getting hot in the garden?

In all seriousness, he admired Yan Nie for being able to speak such sappy lines in public. If he did it in public, he would bury himself for years in sha.

“Hmm?” Daoyi looked over, noticing Tianyi’s gaze. She blinked, then smiled.

“You want to whisper sweet nothings to too?” She asked, holding out her hand.

Tianyi’s face flushed. He didn’t say anything in the end, but he still reached out and held her hand in his.

The rest of the reincarnators just stared, unamused, at the two couples in their own little worlds.

Finally, Gu Chuan couldn’t take it anymore. He slamd his palms onto the table. “I’ve decided, I’m going to shoot a modern romance drama next!”

His words instantly caught everyone’s attention.

“Modern romance drama? You an like it’s based on modern Earth society?” Xi Ri asked.

Gu Chuan nodded. “I’ve actually been thinking about shooting a modern series or drama for a while. I did my research, and compared to the current society, modern society should be very attractive to the people here. Free education, healthcare and the chance to rise up in society. There’s no cultivation, but ordinary people should still be very interested.”

“Are you sure?” Gan Xuehua asked. “You should know how dangerous those concepts are. You might beco wanted by various forces.”

“I know,” Gu Chuan said. “But I’m not worried. My drama will only affect those mortal dynasties. But for cultivators, it should only be fancy. Compared to immortal life, how many would be willing to only live a hundred years?”

After thinking about it, Gan Xuehua nodded in agreent. So modern ideas might influence society, but it shouldn’t change much. This world respected the strong, and only the strong can determine the structure of society.

Gu Chuan coughed into his hands. “Actually, I already planned to do a modern drama for a while. It’s only now that I decided to add romance.”

Looking at his embarrassed expression, Yan Nie’s lips twitched. “Are you asking us for funds?”

“Don’t worry, I can guarantee that this is a lossless investnt!” Gu Chuan started his sales pitch. It was prepared very well, and even Gan Xuehua was tempted.

Although Gan Xuehua was a mber of the Samsara Travelers Chat Group, she did not have an easy way to earn Xiyicoins. They were still very useful to her, and even if she couldn’t use it, she could use it to strengthen the Gan Dynasty.

She didn’t have that deep of a feeling for the Gan Dynasty considering how she ca to be their princess, but this was her base, her foundation. The stronger the Gan Dynasty was, the better for her.

“In that case, I can prepare a set in my Xi Immortal Dynasty. In terms of society, it should be closest to modern society and you should be able to find actors there,” Xi Ri said.

“I’m also interested,” Daoyi said. “How about I compose the the songs and soundtrack?”

Gu Chuan gave a big smile. “Okay, okay. I’ll agree to all of it.”

He pointed at Gao Chushi. “Do you want to be the male lead?”

“Huh, ?”

Gu Chuan nodded. “Yeah, he’s the domineering CEO type, and you have the perfect face.”

Gao Chushi’s expression darkened. “Are you saying I look arrogant?!”

Gu Chuan ignored him and glanced at everyone else. “How about it? Are you all interested in acting in my drama?”

“Sorry, but I’ll pass. I don’t want people to associate with reincarnators too much. I don’t want my family linking it together,” Yan Nie said.

“Not even a cao?”

Yan Nie shook his head.

“I’ll make a cao, but I’ll be in charge of special effects,” Tianyi said.

And so, everyone’s roles were decided in short order.
