Wang Qinghe went to the backyard, directly beneath a tree beside the pond.
There, he used his ti to cultivate while waiting for the other clan mbers to prepare for relocation.
Out of the fifty-nine clan mbers, twelve were children. They did not yet possess the ability to fly on swords.
Not only that, twenty-one clan mbers were still in the Qi Condensation stage. They were familiar with qi, but they could not manipulate flying swords.
The remaining twenty-six mbers were cultivators above Qi Condensation, consisting of twenty Foundation Establishnt cultivators and six Core Formation cultivators.
If they traveled by land, it would take days or even months to leave the borders of the Song Kingdom.
Their main option was to fly across the cities. However, doing so would attract far too much attention.
Wang Qinghe stopped cultivating for a mont. His eyes opened as his thoughts continued to be disturbed by the relocation plan.
While he sat alone beneath the tree in the backyard, Yue erged from one of the houses.
She turned and saw Wang Qinghe quietly lost in thought.
"Qinghe?"
Yue’s voice caught Wang Qinghe’s attention. He raised his head and watched Yue approach him.
"Thank you for your help, Yue."
"It’s no problem. Eliminating corrupt energy from weak dark qi is easy," Yue replied.
The woman sat upon the grass, kneeling gracefully while gazing at the calming pond surface.
"Are they really going to relocate?" Yue asked.
"If they want to survive this disaster, the only option is to leave the kingdom," Wang Qinghe answered.
"I don’t know, Qinghe. Wouldn’t bringing all of them along only drag them toward destruction instead?" Yue asked.
Wang Qinghe had also thought about that.
The disaster within the Song Kingdom had most likely already beco known to the surrounding kingdoms.
They might escape with Qinghe’s help, but they would certainly attract special attention from other kingdoms.
Especially since the Wang Clan was considered an influential clan with many talented cultivators.
"I... thought about that too."
Yue fell silent for a mont before rembering one of the three chests Qinghe had obtained.
The technique inside was a Heavenly-Grade formation of the highest quality.
"What if you try using the God Sealing Array?" Yue suggested.
Wang Qinghe fell silent as he considered Yue’s words.
The God Sealing Array was a high-quality Heavenly-Grade array, the strongest among the three techniques from the Immortal Dragon Palace that Qinghe possessed.
It might indeed prove effective, but activating the God Sealing Array would consu a trendous amount of Qinghe’s strength and qi.
Just for protecting the Wang Clan, that array would be more than enough. Only Soul Formation and Soul Transformation cultivators could break it.
"I’m trying to think of the best solution without attracting too much attention."
"Activating the God Sealing Array could protect them, but it would also attract even greater danger that could ultimately destroy them."
Yue nodded. Hearing Qinghe’s explanation imdiately made her realize the danger threatening the Wang Clan if the array truly remained active.
While Wang Qinghe and Yue sat silently thinking of a solution, they turned forward and saw Wang Hao approaching with several elders.
"Clan Leader Wang Hao?"
Wang Qinghe stood up and walked toward him.
"Do you need sothing?"
"Yes."
"One of the clan mbers went into the city and heard that the Bai Clan has been destroyed," Wang Hao answered.
Wang Qinghe narrowed his eyes sharply.
"What caused it?"
"They tried to leave the city," Wang Hao replied.
So relocating from this city was not an effective solution after all.
Wang Qinghe fell silent for a mont, staring intensely into the sky where the crimson-red formation hidden within the clouds continued floating overhead.
If Qinghe recklessly destroyed that formation, countless mbers of the Demon Alliance would co and annihilate the Wang Clan just as they had destroyed the Bai Clan.
"It seems there’s no other choice, Qinghe. We’ll remain here," Wang Hao said quietly.
Wang Qinghe clenched his fists tightly. His heart was filled with anger and frustration because he could not do more to help.
"If only... I were stronger!" Qinghe declared.
"Don’t push yourself, Qinghe," Yue said softly.
Yue stepped closer to Wang Qinghe and stood before everyone with a serious expression.
"Without the qi gathering formation, the natural qi cultivation technique I gave them becos useless."
"They’ve already noticed the qi gathering formation. It won’t be long before they co here," Yue explained.
"Miss Yue is right. If you want to save all of us, the qi gathering formation must be removed."
"That would make all my efforts aningless!" Qinghe said firmly, refusing.
Wang Qinghe walked away from them and arrived at the center of the Wang Clan residence, where many clan mbers were cultivating with the natural qi cultivation technique.
His attention shifted upward toward the sky, staring at the crimson-red runes continuously floating overhead.
Wang Qinghe refused to let his mother’s family die while he stood by doing nothing.
Wang Hao and the others followed after Wang Qinghe. The man turned toward Wang Hao with a firm expression.
"How long would it take for you to break through to Nascent Soul?" Wang Qinghe asked.
"If I use the clan’s remaining resources, I’m confident I can reach Nascent Soul within two years!" Wang Hao declared.
"That’s enough."
Wang Qinghe finally made an important decision. He would protect the Wang Clan with the God Sealing Array.
It was the final thod available to protect them. Even the Demon Alliance would think twice before attacking such an array, especially once they learned the Wang Clan was under the protection of an Envoy of the Immortal Dragon Palace.
Wang Qinghe imdiately closed his eyes. His robes changed into golden garnts decorated with dragon patterns, while circular magical ornants ford around him from condensed qi.
"T-That... an Immortal Tribulation Ring?!" Wang Hao asked in shock.
"Qinghe?! Are you planning to activate that array?!" Yue shouted.
Wang Qinghe opened his eyes, golden light shining brilliantly from them.
"I have no other choice."
Wang Qinghe ford hand seals before pressing both palms against the ground.
Tremors shook the earth violently as four dragon pillars rose from the ground, protecting each corner of the clan compound.
But it did not stop there.
Wang Qinghe floated into the sky as thunder roared and black clouds gathered overhead. Violent winds howled across the area.
Qi orb light shone at his fingertips before being fired one by one toward the dragon pillars.
The dragon eyes glowed gold, their mouths opening as they unleashed golden beams toward Wang Qinghe’s body.
Everyone witnessed the scene. Those cultivating imdiately stopped, while those inside the houses rushed outside.
The qi pressure radiating from Wang Qinghe’s body was overwhelmingly powerful, completely different from before.
Wang Qinghe felt primordial qi entering his body and being completely absorbed by his primordial soul.
He completed the final hand seal and released a golden beam stretching into the sky, piercing the roaring black clouds as golden lightning crashed violently downward.
"What... is he doing?"
"The God Sealing Array," Yue answered.
"What is that?"
"A high-quality Heavenly-Grade array. Only Soul Formation and Soul Transformation cultivators can destroy it."
"That’s impossible! Isn’t he only a Nascent Soul cultivator?"
Yue shook her head, "Qinghe... is not that simple."
Wang Qinghe opened his eyes and shouted loudly, "God Sealing Array... Activate!"
