Gu Qinghe lowered his head and said his farewell to Wang Yunxi. There were many things he needed to do to obtain the power he desired.

Lin Ruyue’s death would definitely deal a heavy blow to the Yin-Yang Sect. It wouldn’t take long for them to realize that Gu Qinghe was the culprit.

With his current strength, it would be difficult for Gu Qinghe to win a fight against the people of the Yin-Yang Sect.

His best option was to beco a wandering cultivator, search for treasures, and grow stronger.

Gu Qinghe stepped away from the back courtyard of the Wang clan residence.

A lingering heaviness still weighed on Yunxi’s heart and mind, but her son was already grown and capable of choosing his own path in life.

If she continued to restrain him, Yunxi feared it would only hinder his growth.

The young man walked away from the Wang family residence on foot, arriving at the city center. He glanced at a shop that sold cultivator clothing.

The clothes he was wearing were identical to the colors and uniform of the Gu clan. At a glance, foreign cultivators could imdiately recognize Qinghe’s identity.

He pushed the door open, and a female attendant approached him. "Welco. Are you looking to buy a set of cultivator robes?"

"Yes."

"Co this way. I have plenty of options for you."

The boutique was fairly spacious, displaying many sets of robes and elegant dresses, along with beautiful shoes for won.

Gu Qinghe followed the woman until they arrived at the section for n’s cultivator robes.

There were more than five sets available, many of them in bright colors that didn’t match Gu Qinghe’s preferences.

"Give a set in darker colors," Gu Qinghe said.

The woman nodded and selected outfits that suited his request. Soon, she held two sets of cultivator robes in her hands, one navy blue and one black.

Gu Qinghe’s attention fell on the black robe. It suited him and was practical for everyday use during his travels.

"I’ll take this one."

"The total is fifty taels."

Gu Qinghe took out a spirit stone and handed it to the woman. One spirit stone was equivalent to a hundred taels.

He received the black robe and activated his qi, instantly wearing it. His appearance changed drastically.

His face remained the sa, but his long black hair now flowed freely down his back, and his outfit was entirely black.

At a glance, no one would realize that Gu Qinghe ca from the Gu clan. It was an effective way to avoid potential threats caused by inter-clan conflicts in the future.

After finishing his purchase, Gu Qinghe stepped out of the boutique and looked around. He walked alongside other cultivators on the main street of Hongsu City.

To his left and right, he saw many cultivators wearing the uniforms of various sects, though none of them were major sects.

His attention paused when he noticed a crowd of cultivators gathered in front of a wooden stall where an old man was selling antique items.

"Co and try your luck!" the old man called out.

Gu Qinghe grew curious. In the past, valuable treasures were often hidden among antique stalls, and people rarely noticed them.

Now, with his Heavenly Insight Technique, Gu Qinghe could determine how valuable those antiques were.

He stepped up to the wooden stall and activated his ability. His eyes glowed gold, mapping out the quality of the items neatly displayed on the table.

There were jars, plates, mirrors, scraps of paper, and simple scrolls. Gu Qinghe examined them all, but only valuable items reacted to his Heavenly Insight.

Among everything on the table, his attention locked onto a rough-looking fragnt that appeared dirty, wrinkled, and covered in dust.

[Heavenly Path Insight Technique]

[Detecting:]

[1x Fragnt of the Immortal Dragon Palace Map]

[Conclusion:]

[A fragnt of the Immortal Dragon Palace map, a palace ruled by a golden immortal dragon]

[The power of the Immortal Dragon is the strongest in Heaven and Earth. It can enhance a cultivator’s abilities]

He reached out his hand and accidentally touched the back of a female cultivator’s hand. Coincidentally, she was also eyeing the sa fragnt.

"Fellow Daoist, do you mind?" the woman asked. She had a beautiful face, short hair, and wore a leaf-green robe.

"You want that useless piece of paper?" Gu Qinghe asked.

"It seems you want the sa thing as I do, Fellow Daoist."

The old man grinned widely when he realized two cultivators were competing over his goods. He seized the opportunity to start an auction.

"Alright, alright. Since both of you want it, why don’t we settle this with an auction?" the old man suggested.

If I rember correctly, the Immortal Dragon Palace is near the Yellow River Palace Ruins.

Gu Qinghe gave up on the idea. His past mories were enough to help him determine the exact location of the Immortal Dragon Palace.

He withdrew his hand and chose not to buy it, surprising both the female cultivator and the old antique seller.

The woman thanked Gu Qinghe for backing down. He didn’t think much of it.

The Immortal Dragon Palace is a dangerous place, filled with immortal beasts guarding the palace artifacts. With my current strength, it would be difficult to claim those treasures completely.

"It’s fine. I don’t really need that item," Gu Qinghe said.

"In that case, I’ll take my leave," he added. The female cultivator nodded and departed in another direction.

Gu Qinghe continued walking, observing the shops and restaurants along the main street. However, nothing caught his interest. Only that piece of paper had drawn his attention.

After resting at a restaurant, Gu Qinghe headed toward the southern gate to leave Hongsu City.

The young man summoned his flying sword and soared into the sky, heading west and leaving the city far behind.

His destination was the Yellow River Palace Ruins, but along the way, Gu Qinghe planned to use his ti to improve his cultivation, whether by exploring treasure caves, hunting monsters, or engaging in ordinary cultivation.

As he flew alone through the sky, Gu Qinghe heard a faint explosion of magical energy in the surrounding area.

His attention shifted to the side, where a distortion of magical power appeared on the horizon.

Unexpectedly, the woman in the leaf-green robe was flying on her sword, injured. She crossed paths with Gu Qinghe again and imdiately called out for help.

"Fellow Daoist! Help !"

Three n in red robes flew after her on their swords. From the qi aura in their bodies, Gu Qinghe could tell they were only at the Foundation Establishnt stage.

"Fellow Daoist, it’s best not to interfere in this matter if you don’t want to get hurt!" one of them threatened.

"Three n ganging up on a woman. Do you have no sha?" Gu Qinghe asked.

"This is our sect’s business! You have no right to judge us," the man snapped.

The three n ford hand seals and attacked Gu Qinghe with different techniques: a sword, a snake, and a spear.

Gu Qinghe simply raised his hand, forming qi light at his fingertips and activating a qi energy barrier to block their attacks.

BLAST!

The attacks shattered upon colliding with Gu Qinghe’s qi barrier. The three cultivators imdiately suffered backlash. Their chests tightened, and blood spilled from their mouths.

At that mont, they realized just how strong Gu Qinghe was.

"A Core Formation cultivator?!" they exclaid.

Without forming any hand seals, Gu Qinghe pointed forward with two fingers. A golden dragon manifested from his qi, twisting through the air as it charged at the three cultivators.

A second explosion erupted, severely injuring them. They fell from the sky, their clothes torn and blood flowing from their mouths.

"Leave before I kill you," Gu Qinghe ordered.

Without another word, the three of them fled. The qi light at Gu Qinghe’s fingertips dimd, and his energy barrier faded.

The female cultivator flew in front of him, clasping her hands in respect.

"Junior thanks Senior for saving my life."

"You’re the one who bought that paper earlier, right?" Gu Qinghe asked.

"Yes. If Senior wishes, I can give it to you as repaynt," said the woman, an Early Foundation Establishnt cultivator.

"Did soone ask you to buy that paper?" Gu Qinghe asked.

"No, but I wanted to buy it as a gift for my master," she replied.

It seems she doesn’t know anything about the truth behind that map.

"Take good care of that paper. You’ll realize how valuable it is later," Gu Qinghe said.

"Yes. I will rember Senior’s words."

"If you don’t mind, you can co with and et my master at our sect. He will surely have sothing to offer you as thanks for saving ."

Gu Qinghe fell silent for a mont, then nodded. There was no harm in visiting her sect. He might gain so valuable information.

"Alright. Lead the way."
