Chapter 74: Chapter 74 Angel Sequence!_1

In the hall, a gray haze of steam wafted faintly.

Scattered wall lights diffused their glow, interweaving with the thin vapors.

At the mont, both the hall and the balconies accessed by several corridors were crowded with people.

Especially the balcony, which was closest to the Steam Ring, completely occupied by onlookers.

Tuck activated “Precision Vision” to its maximum, and only then could he barely make out the extrely faint “Light Attribute” in the air.

“The Light Attribute is there, but it’s too scant.”

Carlos, who had been glancing around sneakily, whispered to Tuck.

“Follow .”

The two made their way to a door, one after the other.

Carlos gently twisted the doorknob with one hand.

The assassin’s transcendent skill, [Unlock], activated silently.

“Click, click!”

The door opened.

A room resembling an empty warehouse ca into view, especially the balcony—spacious and clear.

“This is a nice spot; at least no one will bother us here,” Tuck said, looking around with satisfaction.

“You go to the balcony and ditate in search of that unreliable light and angel, while I will practice diligently.”

Carlos laid an Alchemy flannel blanket on the ground and sat down on it with a plop.

The Alchemy flannel blanket had a natural gathering of Origin Energy and a slight tempering effect.

It was comparable to half a Wizard’s Robe.

anwhile, Tuck’s woolen ditation mat was just an ordinary blanket sewn from standard materials, albeit slightly more decorative.

Glancing at Carlos, the seriousness on his face showed that he was practicing in earnest.

The recent series of events in Ramore, and the pressure transmitted from the external environnt, had matured him quite a bit.

Now, the lad was able to focus his mind and practice steadily.

Tuck laid out his woolen blanket in a clean spot on the balcony for ditation.

“Breathe in… breathe out…”

After a long breath.

Tuck gathered his thoughts and reached out to feel the steaming mists.

The first thing he encountered was the contamination of the Dark Sun.

Although it was thin, Tuck’s familiarity with the Dark Sun and his unparalleled Insight ability allowed him to sense it clearly.

“On the surface, it seems that the power of steam has resisted the erosion of the Dark Sun.”

“However, the Dark Sun absorbs the Steam Origin Energy and grows stronger itself.”

“If the Steam Tower absorbs the Dark Sun, then it will end up like now, with the Steam Origin Energy inside the Steam Tower already beginning to be slowly contaminated.”

“As ti goes by, the pace will only accelerate.”

“I hope to find traces of that mysterious Angel of Light; saving Ramore would be great, but if that’s not possible,”

“buying so ti, to give

as much ti as possible to develop,”

“is crucial since the outside world doesn’t have such an excellent place for stable developnt like the Demon King’s Tomb.”

Step by step, Tuck opened himself up to the world’s trajectory, integrating further, then extending his senses along the currents in all directions.

Corruption!

Resistance!

Infiltration!

Even the scenes of the Steam Spirits using their power to continuously cleanse the contamination were clearly perceived by Tuck.

Soon, Tuck noticed so unusual traces.

Certain areas of the Light Power’s currents were particularly distinct.

Seeing this, Tuck imdiately gathered his own integration with the currents and began to infiltrate along these strands of Light Power.

If others discovered these covert features,

That would be as far as they could go.

They lacked any further ans.

Tuck guessed that the powerful beings from Ramore’s High Towers had also noticed these unusual strands of Light Power, coupled with a fleeting glimpse of light feathers, confirming the presence of light, steam, angels, and other traces here.

As Tuck delved deeper into the unpredictable dinsions along the steps of the Light ladder,

The essence of the Angel of Light grew increasingly intense.

“Could it be… Ramore actually has an angel’s lair… pfft… a small kingdom of angels?”

For a mont, Tuck too felt a bit unsettled.

[Angel Sequence]

That is naturally a presence of high status.

Even the Dungeon [Demon King Sequence], which humans dread.

The powerful [Angel Sequence] could also contend with it.

Demon Sequence.

Apart from a small amount of [Hero Sequence] that could ingest and absorb so of it.

Other Sequences, basically, couldn’t touch the [Demon King Sequence] that has been at war with humans for thousands of years.

But the [Angel Sequence] was different.

Humans truly could hold the [Angel Sequence] in their grasp.

Although humans couldn’t breed the [Angel Sequence], and they couldn’t cultivate the ecology of the Angel Sequence Tree in the human world.

But in human history, the belief in Light caused those ancient Divine Spirits to descend the [Angel Sequence] upon us.

In so ancient battlefields, traces of the [Angel Sequence] at war could be found.

There were even so remnants of the [Angel Sequence].

Whether it was the angels descended from the ancient Divine Spirits or those who absorbed the remnants of the Angel Sequence.

As a higher-ordered Sequence, it would greatly supplent and enhance the lower-ordered Sequences.

Especially now that humans had entered the “Steam Sequence” era.

They increasingly recognized the strength of the Sequences developed by those ancient Divine Spirits, and the Sequences cultivated by the ecology of the Gods’ Kingdom.

Wherever there was sothing related to the [Angel Sequence].

It was bound to cause a trendous stir.

And for that reason.

The traces of the angel that existed here in Ramore could be called a great secret.

A secret that was certainly substantial.

But whether it could be unearthed, that was not easy to say.

At this mont, for Tuck, it felt as though he was about to uncover that angelic secret.

As Tuck reached a sufficient depth.

Hum…

A divine Sacred Light force, mixed with power Tuck had never sensed before, perated his perception.

Subsequently, a shattering power that even frightened Tuck suddenly surfaced within his veins.

“Thump… thump… thump… thump…”

Tuck sensed his veins, which under the imrsion of that mysterious force, began to break inch by inch.

Even the fracturing force followed the world’s vein pattern Tuck perceived, flowing downstream.

That eerily grotesque and terrifying power was about to kill its way along the “web” of veins.

Tuck precisely felt that the fracturing power targeted him.

He who hesitates is lost.

Tuck’s hand moved and his knife fell.

“Ssst!”

He cut off the vein tainted with the grotesque power directly.

Looking around, Tuck tied the severed vein beneath the tal baluster of the armrest at the front.

It wasn’t long before the mysterious, bizarre, yet slow-moving fracturing power extended downwards.

Although it was an incredibly slight trace, Tuck wouldn’t have felt anything amiss without his Precision Vision.

But when that eerie force fell on the baluster.

“Ssst!”

The hardly audible tearing sound erged and disappeared in the cold, biting wind of the balcony.

Tuck looked back at Carlos.

Carlos, with his eyes closed, maintained a calm deanor that said, “All I want to do now is cultivate!”

Carlos, who was of the Assassin Sequence, didn’t notice the slight disturbance.

Tuck withdrew his gaze, slightly touching the tal baluster which appeared untouched.

On the surface, there seed to be no issues.

But in fact, a very precise cut had been made, and the tal baluster had been severed in the middle.

“Coexisting with the Angel Sequence!”

Tuck raised his head to look at that cluster of faint light that others simply couldn’t see.

“Even just a glance, and even using ‘glancing’ to describe it feels incorrect, results in suffering.”

“What exactly is this power?”

“So sort of… untouchable, indescribable force?”
