Finally, Chi Yan and her attended two classes of Ancient Chinese together, and paid full attention during the classes. During the class, a small accident almost happened when Little Crow was about to doze off and stirred a little, accidentally losing footing and almost falling to the ground. "Shall we go downtown shopping? I want to buy so things. My mother's birthday is coming up soon. Can you help pick a gift?" Chi Yan ca up with the idea all of a sudden.
"Sure." Chu Yang had no objections.
"Let's take the bus there. We'll leave Little Lamb here first."
"OK."
The two rode the electric bike back to the female dormitory first. Chu Yang then went back to her own dorm to put down her things before leaving with Chi Yan.
On the bus, the two sat at the back. Most people on the bus were students going out to have fun.
Chi Yan suddenly put an earbud into Chu Yang's ear. "Listen to so music? You pick sothing to listen to." Chi Yan handed her the phone.
Chu Yang took it and looked at Chi Yan's playlist. Half were English songs and half Chinese. Chu Yang randomly picked one.
As night fell, the streetlights by the roadside lit up too. The bus sped quickly around a corner and many people gasped out loud. Chi Yan hugged Chu Yang, afraid she might knock her head accidentally.
Chu Yang looked up and could see Chi Yan's Adam's apple. She reached out and touched it. The Adam's apple moved a little.
It was quite fun. Chu Yang wanted to reach out again but Chi Yan grasped her hand. "Don't move." His voice was hoarse.
Chi Yan lowered his head near Chu Yang's ear and softly said "Chu Yang, I'm afraid I might react." Young and vigorous, couldn't withstand any teasing.
Chu Yang understood instantly and her face turned red. Coupled with Chi Yan's breathing on her earlobe, Chu Yang didn't dare move anymore.
After a while, the bus stop was announced. They had arrived.
Only then did Chi Yan let her go, and pulled her off the bus. As they alighted, the night breeze blew, and Chu Yang felt the heat on her face finally subside a little.
Chi Yan pulled her along into the shopping mall. The mont they stepped in, the cold air conditioning wind blew onto their faces, instantly dissipating all the heat and vigor.
Chu Yang looked at the map and navigation. "The jewelry and accessories are on the 4th floor. Shall we go take a look?"

"Female."
"Alright. Are you looking for a necklace or bracelet? Any preferences?" The shop assistant asked patiently.
Chu Yang looked to Chi Yan. Chi Yan thought for a bit "I think anything works. What do you think is good?"
Chu Yang looked at a jade bracelet in the display cabinet. "Maybe sothing like jade. A bracelet, or a whole jewelry set works too."
The shop assistant's grin grew even wider. "What a coincidence. Our shop currently has a jade jewelry set designed by Master Airo. Let take it out for you to see."
Chi Yan didn't object.
The shop assistant quickly went to retrieve it. The mont they walked in, her sharp eyes had noticed that while the girl was dressed ordinarily, the guy was exceptionally well-dressed, with a watch that could almost buy their shop's star attraction.
The shop assistant swiftly returned with a box, placed it gently on the table and opened it. It was a set of erald green jade jewelry, consisting of a necklace, bracelet and earrings.

Chi Yan nodded and helped Chu Yang put on the earrings.
In the end, the total ca up to more than $10 million.... the new necklace and earrings alone cost more than $1 million.
As they left the jewelry shop, Chu Yang touched the necklace on her neck and looked at Chi Yan. "Why did you suddenly want to buy such an expensive gift?"
Chi Yan hugged her as they walked on. "Because I wanted to buy it for you, so I did. Alright, let's go for dinner first. Shall we have fish with pickled cabbage tonight?"
As Chi Yan guided her along, Chu Yang counted off with her fingers. "You've bought als many tis, treated to eat a lot, bought a wrist chain, now a necklace and earrings too. And I earned a lot because of you too. Seems like I haven't done anything much for you yet."
Chi Yan suddenly stopped and looked at her gently. "What do you an nothing? You saved my life, don't you rember? Besides, isn't it natural to buy things for your girlfriend?"
Chu Yang felt he made sense, but still wanted to treat Chi Yan better in future. Relationships should be mutual after all.
