An hour later, they arrived at Phoenix Mountain. They parked the car at the foot of the mountain, bought tickets to enter, and then began to leisurely climb the mountain.
They had co here to relax, so the two of them strolled leisurely. When tired, they rested on benches along the mountainside. Today's sunlight wasn't too intense, casting a warm glow on their bodies.
Occasionally, they encountered other people on the path. They ca across an elderly couple, holding hands tightly as they slowly climbed the mountain. At one point, the old couple even took out their phone for a selfie. Looking at the photo on their phone, the elderly pair exchanged smiles before continuing their slow ascent.
Chi Yan watched them with envy and whispered in Chu Yang's ear, "I hope we'll be like them when we're old."
Chu Yang squeezed his hand and replied, "We're already like them now."
Chi Yan smiled, swinging their clasped hands, "You're right."
