528: Chapter 305 – Birth of the City of Dawn_1 528: Chapter 305 – Birth of the City of Dawn_1 “Son of Heaven, what are you doing!!”

As Son of Heaven was lost in thought, he heard a loud roar from outside.

This familiar, rough voice could only co from Jack, but it seed to be much farther away than expected.

Son of Heaven instinctively looked back, and noticed that the group of people, who were originally standing just in front of the Fool’s Boundary, had been thrown out and were now blocked by the octopuses, with Jack among them.

Of the original 400 or so people, only about a dozen remained.

They were under constant attack by the octopuses, being entwined and tossed out, landing accurately outside the surround.

This degree of precision could not be achieved by the octopuses alone.

The only possible explanation was that the Ghost Captain was controlling them.

That ant he had been controlling the octopuses outside while also fighting with him…

The realization was baffling for Son of Heaven.

Could he really control so many octopuses so precisely while managing such an intense fight?

How could he possibly keep an eye on everything?

More importantly, where was all his magic power coming from?

How could he muster such an instantaneous burst power for hundreds of spells, and still seem to have so much left…

“Son of Heaven, do sothing!

There’s no ti left!!” Jack’s shout was still ringing out.

Son of Heaven turned around to see the people who had been dumped out of the plaza had once again regrouped and launched another attack against the octopuses.

With a willing desperation greater than before, they tried to break through the line again, trying to provide him with magical support.

Seeing his teammates fighting bravely, Son of Heaven’s focus finally sharpened, quickly forcing away the stray thoughts and concentrating on the battle at hand.

“There must be a way, there must be…”

Son of Heaven’s mind raced, his eyes darting around, searching for any chance to turn the tide.

Currently he was drained of magic power; his external teammates had been thrown hundreds of ters away, severing the connection with his Azure Sky Disk, leaving only the dozen or so people outside the boundary who could support his magic power.

But even if those people were willing to make a total sacrifice to lend him their magic power, could the magic power of just over a dozen people defeat the Ghost Captain?

Just now, the magic power of forty persons was swiftly drained by him.

So, what could just over a dozen people do now…

Also, did he have enough ti left?

Exactly, ti!

Son of Heaven anxiously looked at his wristwatch.

However, before he could check the ti, he heard a voice coming from the front.

“You are quite talented, it’s a bit of a pity that you’re only able to be a sandbag…”

The voice naturally ca from the Ghost Captain, neither exaggerated nor mocking, just a casual comnt.

That simple tone can often be the most hurtful.

Son of Heaven was not yet ready to give up, still scouring his brain for any possible chance.

But after hearing the Ghost Captain’s words, suddenly, all the fighting spirit in Son of Heaven vanished.

The important thing was not the words, but the confidence behind the words, it made him realize that there wouldn’t be any more chances.

No matter what he did next, the Ghost Captain would have the ans to respond.

His so-called planning, and all the ideas he had co up with, probably seed as childish as playing house in the eyes of the Ghost Captain.

The gap was too big…

“I…

I lost…”

Once he uttered those words, Son of Heaven felt sowhat relieved.

With a self-mocking smile, he got up, turned around and walked towards the boundary.

“Huh?

That’s it?”

On a stone platform in the distance, Mu You looked at Son of Heaven dubiously.

He had thought that soone as coldly arrogant as Son of Heaven would never consider ‘surrendering.’ Given the circumstances, his adversary had to be preparing to draw on full magic power in the imminent fight, right up until the very end.

Mu You had already prepared for the battle.

He had plenty of Crystalline Magic Power to draw from his colleagues in the conference, and he hadn’t used his Refresh Badge today, which ant he could restart the Fool’s Boundary once more.

Though his magic power would then be a bit stretched, it should be enough to last for the remaining ti.

And yet, his opponent just gave up that easily?

Mu You started to suspect that Son of Heaven was feigning defeat, maybe planning to launch a surprise attack when he let his guard down.

However, nothing happened.

Son of Heaven walked directly to the edge of the boundary and then stepped out without looking back.

Seeing his opponent willingly step back, Mu You certainly wasn’t going to make things harder for himself.

He gestured, and the octopuses surrounding Son of Heaven outside the boundary imdiately halted their attack, backed off and ford a path wide enough for one person.

Son of Heaven didn’t take advantage of the situation and simply walked out along the path.

Jack and the others who were still fighting outside saw Son of Heaven walk out of the boundary.

They were taken aback, thinking they might have seen incorrectly.

They looked towards him in surprise, disbelief, or confusion.

In that mont of distraction, they were ambushed by the octopuses and thrown out of the line.

But they didn’t have the ti to worry about that.

As soon as Son of Heaven walked out of the octopus corridor, Jack rushed over instantly.

“There’s still ti left, why did you co out?

Keep fighting!” Jack roared while grabbing Son of Heaven’s collar.

“I can’t win…” Son of Heaven glanced at him and shook his head.
