Red Sleeve led the way without looking back, while Mu You and Lin Xue silently followed behind.

Although she didn’t turn her head, the two could feel that Red Sleeve was keeping a high level of vigilance toward them. The mont they showed any intent to attack, she would instantly be aware.

Of course, neither of them intended to make a move. After all, who they were looking for wasn’t Red Sleeve, but the old man behind her.

Obviously, Red Sleeve was just a scout thrown out by that old guy. Mu You believed that if they attacked Red Sleeve here, the old man would certainly abandon her and escape, halting the eting.

Red Sleeve led the two through the mountain forest for quite a while until they entered a dense forest. Mu You saw a familiar black hole vortex appearing deep within the mist ahead.

"No wonder..." Mu You suddenly understood.

No wonder Red Sleeve dared to circle around so brazenly nearby; there was this additional layer of insurance.

These naturally ford ’teleportation points’ were countless on this land, and they changed locations every few thousand years. Even the Divine Race of the past found it difficult to fully docunt the formation patterns of space vortex points across the continent.

Upon seeing the teleportation vortex, Red Sleeve couldn’t wait to abandon the two and rushed forward, leaping into the vortex and disappearing.

Mu You and Lin Xue were left staring at each other.

"I’ll go take a look."

Mu You volunteered, confident with his ability to rewind and his protective armor. Naturally, he had to be the one to scout the way.

Mu You stepped forward and jumped into the vortex.

A few seconds later, he jumped back, making an OK gesture to Lin Xue, indicating that the environnt on the other side was fine.

The two of them passed through the vortex together.

Strong winds accompanied by sand roared as they arrived on the opposite side of the teleportation node, which turned out to be a rocky desert.

All around were wind-eroded mountain rocks of strange shapes, with gusts sweeping past, creating echoes.

As they looked around, Red Sleeve had long since vanished. Fortunately, the place was quite open, and there was only one path, which no longer required leading.

After walking forward a bit, they soon saw a three- or four-year-old boy hovering in mid-air with his hands on his back, looking down at them with a cold smile from atop a sandstone rock.

Red Sleeve stood respectfully behind him like a servant.

"Emmm..."

Mu You’s expression was sowhat strange; this child couldn’t possibly be...

"Are you Zuo Qiu?" Mu You asked.

"So what if I am, what’s got you surprised?"

The boy spoke with a childish voice but had an evil grin at the corner of his mouth. His hands on his back and his mature deanor were extrely incongruous with his childish appearance.

Mu You’s eye twitched. In his imagination, the image of this old man should be like the other admins, a dwarf growing in a bonsai.

But instead...

Adding on to Red Sleeve’s previously pregnant state and now noticeably post-childbirth appearance, accompanied by this child whose features bore so resemblance to Red Sleeve...

Mu You and Lin Xue exchanged a glance, both wearing strange expressions.

Their first thought was: No way?

The second reaction was: How absurd!

It was unimaginable what kind of relationship these two had...

Mu You quickly shook his head, not interested in delving into their affairs. He glanced around nearby, getting straight to the point: "Where is the World-Creating Mountain?"

Currently, there was nothing around that appeared to be a ’mountain’.

"Hehe, the World-Creating Mountain, I’ll naturally take you there, as it requires at least two admins to open..."

The boy said as he looked at Mu You and Lin Xue, a smirk forming at the corner of his mouth: "But before that, it’s better if you two lose the ability to resist."

"Hm?"

Mu You and Lin Xue frowned simultaneously at the words.

Across from them, as the boy’s smile spread, everything around them quietly ca to a halt. Birds in the sky froze, wild winds beca motionless, and grains of sand visibly hung in the air.

Mu You and Lin Xue were also petrified in place.

In the entire world, only the boy continued to breathe.

Seeing the surroundings enter a Dead Zone, the boy smiled with satisfaction, drifting next to Red Sleeve. A ripple spread from his small hand as he patted Red Sleeve on the shoulder.

An invisible energy layer appeared on Red Sleeve’s body. She stumbled from the push but was released from stasis with this pat, able to move freely in the Dead Zone like the boy.

"The ’World End’s Shield’ can only last for two minutes. I have no ti to reinforce you a second ti, so be quick and first retrieve the Grim Reaper’s power." The boy spoke to Red Sleeve in a commanding tone.

At his words, Red Sleeve glanced at Lin Xue in the distance, then looked toward Mu You on the other side: "And what about this one?"

"Don’t worry about them, this person has the ability to rewind ti. You’re not capable of handling it, I’ll deal with it myself." The boy sneered, watching Red Sleeve move toward Lin Xue as he slowly floated toward Mu You.

Their division of labor appeared perfect.

However, as the boy floated to within ten ters of Mu You, he suddenly realized that Mu You was staring straight at him.

"?"

At first, the boy thought Mu You’s gaze just happened to be frozen in that direction, but only now did he realize that the other’s gaze was actually following his movent!

This person, could they move freely within the Dead Zone?

"Watch out!"

He hadn’t yet sorted his thoughts when suddenly Red Sleeve’s cry sounded from behind.

The red figure rushed forward like the wind, grabbing his back collar and throwing him backward.

In the next mont, Red Sleeve took his place, being struck and sent flying, like a wingless butterfly tracing a parabola through the air before crashing heavily to the ground.
