I can’t avoid convention, so let write one anyway.

After all, this is the first web novel written by a young person, and it’s finally concluded.

At the very beginning, I want to thank my editor, whose na I’ve forgotten... Initially, this book wasn’t approved internally, but she gave a chance to revise it, and we barely managed to sign a contract. She seed to have left last year, and my editor switched from her to Xuanwu, and then from Xuanwu to Dragonfly.

Although I didn’t communicate much with the editors, recomndations were frequently arranged. Every now and then, I was notified about a feature push, and they even granted a limited free period. So I’ve always said, there’s no dark plot at Qidian. Even if you’re a complete novice, as long as you write diligently, you won’t be shortchanged on what you deserve. If you can’t sign a contract or achieve results, it’s just because the book isn’t good enough.

Here, I extend my thanks to the three editors.

This book’s performance was never great, but I had fairly realistic expectations. After all, I wasn’t aiming for a legendary success, which is a rare occurrence. Writing web novels is like having a job; nobody becos a CEO within three months of starting work.

Also, I know my writing style isn’t typically suited for web novels. Many plot arrangents actually follow the style of Arican Hollywood movies or AAA gas, not focusing on "making the reader thrilled," but using "hero’s narrative" thods, setting obstacles, points of no return, making the protagonist endure hardships and failures before overcoming difficulties. Initially subscribed by 110, and upon completion, averaged 830. As a newcor’s first book, I feel this performance is acceptable and passable.

This book was serialized for two years, uploaded in February 2019 and finished in February 2021, a full two years, with 1.95 million words. Honestly speaking, this isn’t the ideal pace. Just look at Eagle, who writes over 600,000 words a month and could finish my book in just three months... But with my writing style, speed is not my forte; I can only say that I’ll strive for better preparation with the next book, at least faster than this one, with more updates each day.

Although I can’t see the trailing readers’ data, every day, after uploading new Chapters, there are always those forty or so people who subscribe imdiately. Although I don’t know who these 40 people are, I’m really thankful to you all. You are the loyal supporters of Chen Ke. Without you and those who financially support , Chen Ke’s adventure would not have reached its conclusion. I’ve also used his voice multiple tis to express an attitude: I must be responsible for these people. There’s always soone who cares about this world, this adventure, and they deserve an explanation.

This story has many flaws, poor reading experiences in so places, and several low-IQ monts. The female lead Lucina isn’t particularly popular, but it still deserves an ending.

This book is finished, but I didn’t write web novels just as a pasti. This book is the beginning of my story’s system, a starting point. Chen Ke’s origin story is concluded, but humanity’s crisis is unresolved, and the divine power of the Sun God still waits at the end of ti. Relying solely on Chen Ke, there’s no way to solve this problem.

Many incomplete plots in this book are actually foreshadowing for future works. Fan Hede’s Hades Lear, the lone Swordsman Wolf, and the cybernetic person appearing in the ending’s easter egg—their stories are about to unfold.

Chen Ke is my Iron Man; the plastic explosive universe will begin with him.

The next book will be about a new supernatural tale.

In April, let’s follow the 72nd Sect Leader of the Wan Sword Sect, Wolf, to the end of a dynasty overrun by strange creatures, embarking on a journey to slay the supernatural!
