Sunrise, the Capital City’s luxurious Lanshan Collection Hotel.
Sleery wrapped in a towel, soaking outside the private guest room, in the courtyard’s artificial hot spring, holding a fashion magazine.
This is one of the most expensive hotels in the Capital City, located at the foot of Lanshan Mountain. It is said that in the past, the Pri Minister of Sunrise used this hotel to receive dignitaries from other countries.
Although she is holding a magazine in her hand, Sleery actually isn’t reading it at all.
Her long hair is tied up on her head, and a small pendant hangs on her snow-white neck. The blue gem dangles on her collarbone, as she rubs the small gem on the pendant with her thumb and forefinger, seemingly lost in thought.
At this mont, the doorbell to the guest room rang a few tis, waking her from her thoughts.
Without needing her to get up and open the door, the door lock was twisted open by a man in a black suit, who walked in.
He had short white hair, wore sunglasses, his skin even paler than Sleery’s, with a cold expression, giving an impression of aloofness that suggested strangers keep away.
Sleery did not get up. She placed the magazine aside, leaned against the artificial pool wall, sank her body a little lower, allowing the waterline to reach the gap of her chest, just enough for water to pour in.
The white-haired man stood in the courtyard, at the edge of the pool, arms folded, watching Sleery.
"Why don’t you co down and join ?" Sleery said to the white-haired man, using a voice seductive enough to make him think she was just a simple-minded woman.
"I thought you didn’t have the guts to co." The white-haired man said.
"I can handle all n, even gods are no exception." Sleery smiled.
"If you can truly offer help, I’ll accept you to beco a Knight." The white-haired man said.
"You n are always so hypocritically serious... On a side note, today’s outfit is much better than in Asgard." Sleery said.
Her hands trembled underwater, and her thighs tightened nervously.
"I can see your apprehension and cowardice." The white-haired man said coldly.
"I can’t help myself when I see attractive n." Sleery said.
The man stepped into the pool, grabbed Sleery’s neck, and lifted her from the water.
Sleery obediently stood up, offering no resistance, her arms hanging at her sides, allowing the white-haired man’s thumb to pinch her throat.
She tried her best to steady her breathing, but her heart still raced rapidly.
The white-haired man tore off her bathrobe, throwing it into the water.
Sleery’s chest and abdon rose and fell with tense, rapid breaths, water droplets sliding down her smooth skin, her body still steaming.
"It’s not conjured." The white-haired man said.
He let go of Sleery, pulled out a white handkerchief, and wiped his hands.
Sleery sank back into the water, clutching her neck and chest, speechless.
"I still can’t trust you. How did you find ?" The white-haired man asked.
"It’s not difficult... That disgusting worm ntioned you. What he knows, we know too. I’ve always been watching there..." Sleery said.
"Why choose to betray?" The white-haired man asked again.
"I never fight battles I’m unprepared for... and I couldn’t have him. Given such circumstances, why not find a way out?" Sleery looked at the white-haired man.
In her view, the figure of the white-haired man appeared hazy and unclear, sotis in the form of the suited man, sotis in the posture of the White Knight...
"No one can accept a traitor’s loyalty." The white-haired man said.
"This is not betrayal, it’s a choice." Sleery said.
"Your betrayal is aningless, and you will return to nothingness with this world." The White Knight said.
"You need my help, otherwise why would you co to et !" Sleery argued.
"..." The White Knight gazed at Sleery, without speaking.
This was exactly what Sleery wanted, she quickly continued: "You’ve done what you could, I can feel it. The sky is no longer that red. But this world has not run aground in reality, clearly sothing must have gone wrong, that’s sothing you don’t know about, right?"
"What did he rigged with that worm?" The White Knight asked.
"I don’t know, but I think it’s connected to the six Holy Diamonds. He once said that this world is a dream, and your world is the real one... When our ti overlaps with yours, we’ll run aground on your shore like whales." Sleery said.
"The one in Asgard, now, is in my hand. The rest, how many are there? Where? Does he know?" The White Knight asked.
"I can tell you, but you need to accept , at least, in the real world, give an extraordinary status." Sleery said.
"What you ask for is strange, and I don’t quite understand why I should even do this." The White Knight said.
"What else could you do? Isn’t it just a sci-fi version of colonial warfare? You invade, enslave, then rule, this world’s destined to lose, I am willing to join you, if you want the remaining Holy Diamonds, exchange them with for sothing." Sleery said.
"Don’t compare us to you. In our world, there is no hierarchy, only unity. We are rely purifying the sins of the old world, not for conquest and slavery." The White Knight said disdainfully.
"... I hope what you say is true." Sleery said.
"Humans have abandoned us, so we abandon the whole world." The White Knight said.
"Alright, seems you don’t really need help, then what do you plan to do now? Kill here?" Sleery asked.
The White Knight remained silent for a while, his eyes never blinking, seemingly deep in thought.
After several seconds, he said: "I cannot promise you what you want, after all, those things don’t exist in my world. But there’s still so room for negotiation."
Sleery laughed, she said: "Then, what can you promise?"
The White Knight seriously replied: "If you pass the test, He will bestow blood, letting you beco a new Divine Descendant."
"Who is he?" Sleery asked.
"Don’t ask what shouldn’t be asked." The White Knight said.
Sleery believed the White Knight might only concede this one ti, she seized the opportunity.
"There are six Holy Diamonds, what happens when combined, he didn’t explain clearly." Sleery said.
"In your hands, they are useless, but once destroyed, your world ceases to exist." The White Knight said straightforwardly.
"So, are you going to destroy them?" Sleery asked.
"They are only fragnts. Combined, they are whole. Combine them, then destroy. If only part of the fragnts are destroyed, they will appear in other cycles." The White Knight continued.
"Alright... there are six in total, you have one, the others are with him." Sleery said.
The White Knight showed a hint of a smile and said: "Then it’s much easier to find."
He turned, intending to leave, at this mont Sleery called out to him.
"You won’t forget what you promised , right?" Sleery said.
"As long as you pass the test. But not now, when this world turns to dust, I’ll co to fetch you personally." The White Knight said.
He was just about to leave, then rembered sothing, looked back at Sleery, and asked faintly:
"His na, is Chen Ke?"
