The White Knight looked up at the sky, only to see the blazing greatsword plumting straight down towards his head. He raised his hand, and a black longsword appeared out of thin air, positioning it horizontally above his head.
The Flaming Greatsword descended like a mountain, pressing down on the White Knight. The sword tip collided straight with the White Knight’s black sword, without making a sound. The Flaming Giant landed, causing the ground to tremble and the sword’s flas to suck the surrounding air, creating a vacuum.
Chen Ke couldn’t stand steady, feeling as if the earth had sunk beneath him. The ground beneath the giant’s feet cracked open with fissures, and in the next second, the ground collapsed, emitting greenish light from the fissures.
The surroundings experienced earthquake-like tremors, violently shaking. The White Knight had blocked the giant’s attack, but the ground beneath couldn’t withstand the trendous impact, and the White Knight was driven into the ground by the blow.
"Chen Ke?!" Diana looked towards Chen Ke, exclaiming in surprise.
Chen Ke didn’t know what was happening either, but the appearance of the Flaming Giant had caused instability in Asgard. The earth cracked, seas surged, and green light blood from beneath the earth and sea.
"This is the end of Asgard!!!" Surter roared, gazing at the collapsing mountain peak.
Beside him, Lucina noted, "The ground is strewn with corpses! There was a great battle here!"
Black crows circled in the sky, and with a whoosh, they transford into a mature woman in a black long dress, landing on the giant’s other shoulder.
"Soone destroyed Odin’s palace," Loki reminded Surter.
Surter paid no heed, inserting the Flaming Greatsword into the surface of Asgard to gather power.
Loki realized Surter’s intention. Asgard, constructed from gemstones, was a phantom world, and Surter aid to disturb the underground energy flow with Revanthin, reverting Asgard back into a gemstone.
Lucina couldn’t contain herself any longer. She jumped off the giant, landing with a thud in the mud, creating a large pit. Just after climbing out of the hole, she saw Chen Ke and Diana not far away.
"Chen Ke!!" Lucina called out, but amidst the quaking ground, with its booming rumble, Chen Ke and the others didn’t notice her.
Hence, she leapt towards Chen Ke, darting over with a whoosh.
Diana noticed sothing flying over, her eyes turning red, ready to shoot heat vision at the incoming object. But then she realized it was actually Lucina flying over.
Sleery, showing no rcy, erected a purple magic wall in front of Chen Ke. Lucina crashed into it with a bam. However, since Sleery hadn’t fully rested, her magic wall’s strength was not high and was shattered by Lucina’s collision.
Chen Ke was startled. He was holding Xu Jing’s headless corpse, preparing to store it in his personal space.
The reunion of Lucina and Chen Ke, which should have been joyous, turned tense and awkward amidst the headless corpse of Xu Jing and the seismic surroundings.
"Why are you dressed like that?!" Chen Ke shouted.
"Why did you leave a beard?!" Lucina also shouted.
"We should get out!! This place is collapsing!" Sleery urged.
"We can’t leave without finding the gemstone!" Chen Ke protested.
"The palace has collapsed; how can we search? That dangerous thing is still alive," Diana exclaid.
Just as she finished speaking, the Revanthin embedded in the earth was suddenly pushed out, even though Surter had his hands on the hilt, unable to stop the sword from being pushed up by the force below.
The White Knight, grasping Revanthin’s tip with one hand, shot up from the ground. In the blink of an eye, it reached Surter’s head. Chen Ke didn’t see what it did, only noticing the Flaming Giant suddenly raise its head, its body leaning back as if receiving an uppercut from below.
"Oh!! What happened? That giant got knocked flying!" Lucina exclaid.
"That dangerous thing... that’s the White Knight Chen Ke told us about," Diana explained.
Lucina glanced at Xu Jing’s corpse, unable to make a joke this ti.
"They’re engaged in battle. Take this chance to find the last gemstone..." Chen Ke urged.
"Wait! Chen Ke! The final gemstone is right under your feet," Lucina pulled on Chen Ke.
Chen Ke was puzzled, looking at Lucina for an explanation.
"Asgard is the gemstone. You have to let Surter destroy it, turning it back to what it originally was!" Lucina explained.
"Looks like that giant can’t beat the White Knight," Sleery noted.
"We’ll lend a hand. Besides Surter, there’s Loki; she’s the original witch! We can’t let Surter die, or we’ll never get the Asgard gemstone," Lucina insisted.
Surter’s enormous body lay on the ground, causing another tremor. The crows flew skyward, seemingly reluctant to help.
In the sky, hundreds of black swords appeared, densely packed. Surter got up and swung his fist at a small white dot in the sky. Hundreds of black swords bypassed Surter’s fist, wrapping around his arm, and with a crunch, they tore the entire arm off.
"Aaaahhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!" Surter scread, his shout echoing across the heavens, deafening all.
After severing Surter’s arm, the hundreds of swords flew towards his neck.
Diana, seeing this, shot up into the sky, her fists aiming at the White Knight, releasing scorching energy beams. The beams sliced across the sky, hitting the swarm of black arrows, sweeping away dozens of them.
The White Knight, sensing others joining the battle, split part of the black swords, sending them flying towards Diana.
She flew in the opposite direction of Surter, letting the black swords chase after her.
Loki noticed the Fla Witch, spreading her dual-wielded hands, scattering many feathers. These feathers transford into spiritual crows, multiplying into a flock, all diving towards the White Knight.
Sleery also started assisting. Several surface-to-air missile launch trucks suddenly appeared on the ground, launching a volley of purple missiles at the White Knight.
The sky at the mont resembled a fireworks display, with all sorts of strange things flying about. Missiles, crows, and flying swords danced together, with fla beams occasionally joining the fray.
Lucina couldn’t fly, but she too wanted to help. She knew what the giant needed and ran towards the fallen Revanthin.
The swarm of black flying swords split into three waves. The first wave protected the White Knight’s body, spinning wildly to form a protective wall, keeping the flock of crows at bay. The second wave chased Diana, hindering her ability to aim freely. The third wave flew away from Surter to intercept the incoming spiritual missiles.
The missiles exploded in the air, bursting into purple fireworks. Spiritual energy blood in the air. Lucina, watching the aerial battle while running and leaping, quickly reached the part of Revanthin with the hilt.
She extended her magic-powered arm, grasping the greatsword, hoping to prop it up. This greatsword was as tall as a skyscraper, and she barely managed to lift it with all her might.
Surter took a mont to recover, the flas on his body gradually extinguishing. Away from the realm of flas, his strength was continuously dwindling. The White Knight burst from the missile’s explosion smoke, gripping the sword with his right hand, ready to attack personally.
At the sa ti, a silver hamr flew towards him.
The White Knight sensed the irregular vibrations in the air and heard the deep whooshing sound of the hamr spinning in the air. He looked to the right, reached out his left hand, and caught the hamr’s handle instantly.
The next second, the White Knight began plumting. It tried to fly upwards, but the hamr seed to weigh millions of tons, and no matter how hard it tried, the White Knight couldn’t carry it back up.
