Chen Ke had drained the superhero dry; he was now imnsely aged, his body skeletal and gaunt.

He threw the superhero’s carcass aside, donned the Black Knight armor, and pried open the broken walls to step into the hall.

The remaining five superheroes first glanced at each other and then collectively looked at Chen Ke, probably because they didn’t expect this bodyguard to be capable of killing a superhero.

Most of the people in the hall were dead, and under the effect of ti stoppage, the flesh of many dying people was peeling off their bodies—skin trailing muscle. But everything happened so speedily they hadn’t realized it yet; the head of the Opportunity City County Police had half his head split open, but his corpulent body was still trying to flee, his face frozen with panic and vigilance.

With Spiritual Vision, Chen Ke saw Li Moyang’s human silhouette hiding behind a large pile of rubble. The five superheroes smiled faintly as they looked towards the pile of stones where Li Moyang was hiding.

Chen Ke imdiately ran towards the pile of stones. Five beams of heat vision shot over in the next second, and he leaped, using his back to block the assault.

An Helei’s armor was immune to fla, but the superheroes’ heat vision was not purely Fla attribute; it was so kind of energy burst that carried a fla effect, penetrating the armor and burning bloody holes in Chen Ke’s back muscles.

Chen Ke grunted in pain, and then, an even more powerful fla force erupted from beneath the building.

Diana, transford into fla, flew into the hall and fired blazing beams of energy from her fists, knocking two superheroes off from the other side of the hall.

"Chen Ke! Where’s Li Moyang?!" Diana landed and shouted at Chen Ke.

Two of the remaining superheroes charged at Diana, their heat vision aid at Diana’s abdon. As Diana dodged, the superheroes flew at her to embrace and crash down the building with her, but they hit the ti-frozen glass and couldn’t break through.

At the sa ti, another superhero ca at Chen Ke.

"Don’t think about taking the Founder away!" the superhero yelled.

Chen Ke collided with the superhero, and both were flung against the wall behind the podium. Chen Ke felt a doorknob behind him, leading to the back of the banquet hall. The superhero’s eyes shone red as Chen Ke ended the ti stop. With a twist of his hand, Chen Ke opened the side door and fell into it with the superhero.

The two crashed into a convenience store; Chen Ke kicked fiercely, shoving the superhero off him, then pushed past the astonished bystanders and entered the convenience store.

The next second, the red heat vision shattered the glass, but Chen Ke was not outside.

The superhero rushed out but found himself on a strange street, surrounded by Asian faces. He turned to look back at the convenience store he had co from, and the sign bore Sunrise script.

"Li Moyang?!" Chen Ke re-erged from the back door, searching for Li Moyang.

Diana had already burned two superheroes to death, and many in the hall had perished. A few survivors, petrified, gathered around Diana.

Li Moyang poked his head out from behind the pile of stones. He was now beyond ti, so ti stoppage had no effect on him. His suit was covered in white li, his hair ssy from the wind, yet his expression was not one of panic, as if he was ntally prepared.

"I’ll get you out of here." Chen Ke walked over and pulled him up from the ground.

"Did you hear it? That superhero just ntioned the Founder. It’s the Foundation. Lin Yaying’s foundation is pulling the strings behind this." Li Moyang said.

"What do we do now, Chen Ke? Take this group of people and get out!" Diana also called out to Chen Ke.

The banquet hall was now ventilated on two sides, and the upper floors could collapse at any mont.

"This way! Quick." Chen Ke didn’t hesitate, as there was only one remaining door on this level. He opened it, leading to a small supermarket in Opportunity City.

"Go this way! Take everyone who is still alive." Chen Ke instructed.

Diana imdiately guided the survivors towards the door. So were still alive but severely injured; Diana and other survivors carried and supported them along.

"Get out of the building first." Chen Ke told Li Moyang to go first since they were the closest.

Li Moyang nodded, glanced at Diana, and in the next second, the entire building started to shake violently.

The banquet hall began to tilt as if the floors below had co under attack; the building was being bisected by so force, and the floor quickly turned into a slope.

"Ahhhhhh!!!" Everyone scread, sliding down the increasingly steep slope and falling towards the street below.

Chen Ke and Li Moyang tumbled together, cursing as they rolled downwards.

Diana also slid down, grabbing hold of a female reporter beside her with her left hand while clutching the broken aluminum fra of a window, hanging in midair.

The Lescott Spirit Property Building began to fracture from the 49th floor, bodies and survivors falling down, with a few people clinging to the edge. Just then, a huge purple net appeared below, catching everything inside.

Sleery stood on the rooftop of the opposite building, her hands towards the sky, making a lifting motion while emitting a purple glow from her body.

"Move the net!" Diana shouted towards Sleery.

Because even though people were caught in it, tables, rocks, and debris from the building began to hit the survivors.

Sleery didn’t hear; how could she at that distance...? Suddenly, she felt a gust of wind pass by her right side and a fierce punch hit her waist, sending her flying and sliding far across the ground.

The net disappeared, and people continued to plumt downward.

Chen Ke waved his hand, stopping ti in mid-air, and everyone froze in place. Diana turned into fla and flew down, grabbing Chen Ke’s right hand. He put on An Helei’s armor, and his other hand seized Li Moyang.

"Oh... you two are really heavy..." Diana groaned under the weight of the two n, not strong enough, descending at a not too slow pace.

Sleery spat out a mouthful of blood, feeling as if her organs had been shattered, her lower body completely numb. She lay on her side and once again summoned her magic power to reform the net.

Chen Ke saw the net reforming and ended the ti stop, and the survivors fell into the net once again.

The attacker was a black professional dressed in a blue suit, bald, with half of his face charred and twisted, and his right eyeball popped out, moving irregularly.

"You are really... ugly..." Sleery hissed in pain, struggling to maintain focus so that the magic net could slowly descend.

The professional didn’t waste words; his arms slowly elongated, his figure swelled, bursting his suit. Black tumorous muscles bulged as he leaped towards Sleery.

A green Energy Arm caught him in mid-air, then slapped down hard, smashing through the rooftop flooring and driving him directly into the room below.

Lucina leaped from the other side of the building, pulling Sleery up, whose injuries began to slowly heal. Without further ado, Sleery lowered the survivors gently to the ground, just as the professional reerged.

The street was in utter chaos. The Administration Bureau’s P.W.A.T and fire brigade arrived at the scene. Just as Chen Ke and others hit the ground, they saw several professionals burst in from around the corner, flipping a fire truck to the side.

P.W.A.T unleashed their attacks, but their firepower and abilities weren’t prepared for this kind of situation.

"They want you dead, which is completely opposite to Lin Yaying’s goals," Chen Ke had already spotted the clue; he then glanced to the nearby rooftop where Lucina and Sleery tangled in combat with so entity.

Just then, Chen Ke recognized familiar faces—the very sa superhumans who initiated the attack, now appearing again.

"No... I burned them..." Diana said.

Li Moyang dusted himself off, seemingly unsurprised.

"It’s those things. Made of blood." Xu Jing now appeared from nowhere, standing in front of Chen Ke, a picture of a female bodyguard.

"You better go into the Illusion Dream Center; they go beyond ti, I can’t stop them," Chen Ke said.

"Don’t even think about it, this is a good opportunity to collect data," Li Moyang refused.

"Then put on your armor," Chen Ke said.
