Lucina flew out of the second-story window and landed heavily on the lawn, hearing the sound of her bones cracking as her shoulder dislocated.

The trench coat brute had wanted to deal with Parker again, but at that mont, Parker suddenly turned into a pile of ashes, taking the shotgun with him, and whooshed out the window, landing beside Lucina.

"Get up, Miss Lucina, we need to leave," Parker said as he handed the shotgun to Lucina, who, with one arm dangling, struggled to her feet from the ground.

"There are still two people inside. Where are they?" Lucina asked.

"I don’t know, they disappeared. Thankfully they disappeared or we would have had even more to deal with," Parker replied.

"You’d better escape on your own. Tonight, we’re destined to leave a few behind... You go first and tell Chen Ke what happened here. He’ll find a way," Lucina said to Parker, as if she had made up her mind.

"This doesn’t feel right..." Parker shook his head.

At that mont, the trench coat brute walked out of the villa’s front door. His oppressive footsteps echoed in the quiet residential area, quickly drawing the attention of others, and a helicopter in the sky flew towards them.

"If we don’t go now, we’ll really miss our chance," Lucina said.

"You said things wouldn’t get this bad. Chen Ke has the ability to control ti. Maybe we’ve already died once, and then he changed that future. Maybe he’s already here," Parker suggested, but his tone didn’t sound very confident.

"I was just comforting that rich boy earlier... And don’t forget, we’ve already traveled through ti. Chen Ke told us that we’re now beyond the influence of ti, which ans that even if he changes the future, if we’re ant to die, we will still die..." Lucina sighed.

"Damn..." Parker cursed, deflated.

"My left arm is useless; I can’t shoot. It’s all up to you now," Lucina said as she handed the shotgun back to Parker.

As the muscleman drew closer to them, both knew that the shotgun wouldn’t kill the Spiritual Ability User before them and that employees from the company were already gathering. No matter how they resisted, the outco was inevitable.

But Parker still raised the gun, aiming at the muscleman. Although it was like trying to stop a vehicle with a mantis arm, they at least couldn’t show weakness to those people.

She pulled the trigger of the shotgun four tis in rapid succession, spraying the muscleman’s face with a blossoming of blood and flesh, but his face quickly healed, his grey skin with the texture of tree rings unscathed.

Parker continued to shoot at the muscleman’s face until the bullets were all gone. Then, effortlessly, the muscleman grabbed the barrel of the shotgun and twisted it.

"Damn it!" Parker let go of the shotgun and imdiately retreated, followed by Lucina, clutching her left arm, as they ran towards the nearby woods.

They only ran a few steps before Parker and Lucina stopped. A dozen gunn in black erged from the woods, and the helicopter’s spotlight hit the lawn. The Spiritual Ability Users had sealed off their retreat on the street behind them.

"You really should have saved two bullets," Lucina said as she looked at the gunn around them, knowing there was no way out.

The muscleman approached Lucina. Parker turned into ashes, wrapping around him, desperately trying to drag his footsteps, but Parker was too light for the muscleman without the amplification of the Fla. Parker was just a aningless handful of dust.

Just then, an iron-grey humanoid object leaped out from behind the villa, with blue flas jetting out from the sides of its feet. It landed on the muscleman in an instant, pinning him to the mud.

Lucina looked closely and saw it was Li Moyang. He wasn’t wearing a helt, his armor was incomplete, and the makeshift iron-grey exoskeleton clung to his body. The grey circuit boards and chanical moving parts were exposed, the inner workings of his gauntlets and legs were clearly visible, and the power-transmitting lines were wrapped around his legs and waist.

Li Moyang stretched out his fist toward the muscleman lying in the mud. The pull chanism in his forearm functioned like a pile driver, thumping his fist four or five tis a second against the back of the muscleman’s head.

However, after no more than five seconds, the muscleman stirred. With a shake, Li Moyang slid off his back as if the armor had no weight at all.

Li Moyang still tried to subdue the muscleman, with two chanical arms grabbing the muscleman’s shoulders, trying to pin him to the ground again. However, the muscleman easily broke free from Li Moyang’s grasp and in turn, grabbed Li Moyang’s chanical arms.

Li Moyang stared at the muscleman, his arms’ power turned up to the max, but the armor was incomplete. After struggling with the muscleman for a few seconds, the exoskeletal fra on his body bent and broke apart.

The muscleman snapped off Li Moyang’s right chanical arm, grabbed the chest plate in front of him, and forcefully dragged him out of the exoskeleton, then tossed him to the ground.

The muscleman walked towards the three of them, and at the sa ti, the helicopter in the sky slowly descended. The muscleman looked up and then stopped, just standing in place, waiting.

Lucina tried to help Li Moyang up from the ground, but she was harshly struck in the lower back by a gunman in black. The butt of the gun caused her to groan in pain, then her knees gave way, and she kneeled on the ground with one hand cradling her head and the other arm hanging limply by her side.

Parker and Li Moyang were also herded together by several Spiritual Ability Users, their hands on their heads, kneeling on the lawn with Lucina. They looked at each other, wordless.

The helicopter slowly descended, and Olivia jumped down.

"Who’s that?" Lucina asked softly.

"That is... our trouble," Li Moyang sighed.

Olivia approached the three, crossed her arms, and looked down at Li Moyang with scorn, glancing around at the sa ti.

"You’ve overstepped your boundaries," Li Moyang said.

"The boundaries you speak of an nothing to ," Olivia laughed.

"Then what are you hesitating for?" Li Moyang asked.

"I’m curious why you would expose yourself voluntarily," Olivia squatted in front of Li Moyang, inquisitive.

"It was an accident," Li Moyang said sternly.

Li Moyang felt there might still be a chance for respite. The Foundation had set him up, but their goal surely wasn’t to let him die. If this situation was indeed crafted by the Foundation to force his cooperation... then, if Olivia was truly about to kill him, they should intervene...

"What exactly are you plotting?" Olivia asked.

"That’s not important. Do what you want to do. Don’t hesitate," Li Moyang said.

"No... it’s not that simple. Killing you is only my mission, but I’d prefer to kill another..." Olivia slowly stood up.

"Another?" Li Moyang asked.

"Your little bodyguard, as well as the two Witches with him. Tell , where are they?" Olivia demanded.

"I sent him on a business trip," Li Moyang said evasively.

"I know you sent him to Sunrise to look for the Witch. And then? Why are you also looking for a Witch? And why attract here? Could it be... this is a trap..." Olivia’s voice faded as she spoke, but she quickly masked her concern.

"I don’t know what a Witch is... if you say so... are you going to kill or not?" Li Moyang asked.

"I’m not in a hurry; what’s your rush?" Olivia countered.

"You seem less concerned with than with my bodyguard. Why do you care about him so much?" Li Moyang pressed.

"That’s a personal vendetta between him and . If I get the chance, I’ll find a way to hurt him, both physically and ntally," Olivia declared.

"Well, you’re out of luck, he’s not here," Li Moyang shook his head.

"Your bodyguard doesn’t seem very competent, being absent when you need him most. However, I’m sure you could call him out," Olivia said.

"I don’t want to disappoint you, but I don’t know where he is right now. If I could call him, he would already be here," Li Moyang said.

Olivia snorted coldly, letting out a contemptuous laugh. She glanced at Lucina and Parker next to Li Moyang, then gestured to a muscular man.

The muscular man walked over to Lucina, grabbed her by the back of her neck, and dragged her out onto the lawn before pinning her down, his foot on her spine.

"I know this is a trap, but I don’t care. He wants to play gas, I’ll play gas. Make him show up! Or I’ll make your girl here split in two," Olivia threatened.

Li Moyang was caught in a dilemma. Olivia had mistaken Lucina for his lover, and she had also misinterpreted the current situation as a trap laid out by him to lure her in.

Lucina lay on the ground, looking up at Li Moyang, and spat out a word: "Dammit."
