Chapter 710: Chapter 709 Crisis

Lucina lay on her side on the scorching floor, puzzles scattered around, her arm slashed by broken glass, constantly oozing blood.

Flas engulfed the wooden furniture, automatic rifles, submachine guns, pistols, and the eerie, mysterious sounds of transcendental skills mixed at the door, intermittently accompanied by people’s wails and screams.

The man in the trench coat pried open the burning wooden door, stooped into the villa’s first-floor hall, his face pale and pupils shimring with a ring of blue light, topped with a soft cap. Seeing Lucina on the ground, he stepped heavily towards her.

Lucina certainly didn’t think this guy was here to save her, he was really tall… His footsteps sounded like a pile driver hamring on the ground. Though he was wrapped in a dark green trench coat, Lucina knew this guy must be incredibly strong, easily capable of breaking her spine.

She imdiately crawled up, ran towards the upstairs of the villa, taking off her slippers, her feet bare on the scalding wooden floor, her teeth gritted in pain. The trench coat giant rcilessly followed, a stride matching three of Lucina’s rapid steps, quickly grabbing her heel and yanking her down the stairs.

Lucina lay on the stairs, turned over, and the giant grabbed her neck with one hand, effortlessly lifting her up. She tried to kick his chest with her bare feet, but his muscles were as hard as steel, almost 3 ters tall, Lucina felt like she was kicking a huge door.

The giant looked at Lucina expressionlessly, then suddenly asked, “Where is he?”

Lucina spat at his wrinkled, gray face covered with circular patterns, but he didn’t get angry. Instead, his right hand squeezed slightly harder, and Lucina’s throat was tightly clamped, her eyes bulging, feeling like her windpipe was about to burst.

Both her hands desperately tried to pry open the giant’s hand; his palm was as large as a large bowl, Lucina’s arm muscles bulging trendously, but even with all her strength of bench pressing 60 kilograms, she couldn’t make the giant’s huge hand loosen the slightest bit.

“I’m going to die, I’m coming dad…” a thought of despair circled in Lucina’s mind, her lungs starting to hurt from the lack of oxygen.

Just then, a fla vortex suddenly erupted from behind the giant, surging onto his body, black ashes glowing bright red, tightly coiling around him, cracking his gray skin.

The giant raised his arm, threw Lucina under the stairs with a thump, and then intensely kicked her in the abdon, sending her flying far away.

Lucina puffed her cheeks, slid sidewards on the floor for several ters, and smashed into the back wall. Supporting herself with one arm on the ground, and one hand covering her throat, clear gastric juice dripped from her lips.

The giant patted the ashes and flas on himself at the spot; his cap fell off, but his trench coat seed heat-resistant, not injured by the flas in the slightest. Seizing the mont, he grabbed the thickest part of the ash cluster and, with a forceful squeeze, the ashes suddenly consolidated, revealing Parker.

“Parker?!” Lucina got up from the ground.

“Run, quick!” Parker urged Lucina.

The giant tried to choke Parker, but with a squeeze, Parker transford into a handful of black ash again, slipping through his fingers.

The ash fiercely gathered towards Lucina, she grabbed a vase nearby, let Parker rush in, then covered the vase and ran towards another gap in the villa’s walls.

Behind, the terrifying footsteps were drawing nearer. Lucina dared not look back, under the influence of the fire, the villa began to collapse, the ceiling of the second floor dropped from the left, blocking the route to the back door, she rushed into the study on the right, then sprinted towards the window.

Almost at the sa mont she smashed the glass and jumped into the yard, the villa collapsed, burying the giant under piles of rubble, only one large hand visible.

Lucina lay on the lawn, outside the fence; other villas were burning too, so people in black robes patrolling the street, Li Moyang’s bodyguard’s half body stuck on the fence, a XM1014 combat shotgun muzzle hung in the mud, its strap still tied to the body.

Lucina crawled over, grabbed the shotgun, gently pulled, and the body snapped and fell next to her, exposed intestines mixed with blood and feces, looking and slling terrible.

She suppressed her nausea, removed the gun sling from the corpse, and swiftly checked the status of the gun.

The XM1014 shotgun wasn’t on safety, Lucina ejected the bullets inside—there were seven. This semi-automatic shotgun could hold a maximum of eight bullets, it was evident that the bodyguard had fired only once before he was ruthlessly exterminated by the Company’s Spiritual Ability User.

There were no more spare bullets on the corpse, everything had been hurried, but even with more bullets, Lucina didn’t believe she could kill a Spiritual Ability User with this thing. Having a gun was rely a psychological comfort; at least her combat ability had gone from 0 to 5.

Alone, with Parker, the entire area was swarming with the Company’s Spiritual Ability Users, and the bodyguards were probably all dead. What about Li Moyang? She quickly analyzed the situation; the collapsed villa hadn’t attracted the attention of the Spiritual Ability Users on the street. After all, the entire villa area was engulfed in flas. In the sky, two small helicopters were circling, and their searchlights swept through the dark streets and group of villas.

A few Spiritual Ability Users walked towards her direction, Lucina stuffed the gun under the corpse and borrowed so blood from it, saring it on her neck and face before lying motionless on the ground.

“Found anything?” The Spiritual Ability Users ca closer, their voices growing louder.

“Not yet, the Holy Oak villa area isn’t that small.”

“If he escapes again this ti, Miss Olivia won’t be happy.”

“I know, the phone signal is in this area, but then again, why did he call in himself?”

“Who knows? Maybe he has his own plans.”

“Maybe it’s a trap.”

“Doesn’t matter, Miss Olivia is determined this ti, she doesn’t care what tricks that young master wants to pull.”

“Ha! Witch, right? I’ve heard of Olivia’s witch powers.”

“You should watch your mouth, she’s a senior mber of the Divine Secret Society, everything about her is classified.”

“Lately, they seem not so keen on keeping secrets… But, if I had such formidable power, I’d want the whole world to know.”

“And then start a war with the world? Thank God soone like you doesn’t possess that power.”

“Has Miss Olivia arrived?”

“She’s on the helicopter, monitoring every move in Holy Oak.”

“Sounds serious.”

“If you could personally capture Li Moyang and bring him to her, you might just get invited to the next secret eting.”

The two Spiritual Ability Users walked away while talking; Lucina grabbed the shotgun and cautiously crawled toward Li Moyang’s villa.
