"If you lose, the Foundation’s big gamble will beco aningless. You chose the third ending, so be prepared," the old woman said.
"Destiny chose , but the ending is in my hands. You said I would beco the master of this dream, so how can I freely traverse through ti?" Chen Ke asked.
"Find the key third one... and you will be greatly different. Now, it’s ti to leave here and deal with the matters outside," the old woman said with a smile, waving her hand. A gust of strong wind swept over, and before Chen Ke could react, he was blown out of the stone pavilion, his body drifting into the sky, tumbling incessantly.
He shouted loudly, his ears filled with the whooshing of the wind and his body spinning, the sea and clouds alternating in his vision, making it impossible to distinguish direction. After floating for over a dozen seconds, he suddenly hit the ground, rolling several tis in the mud before coming to a stop against a wall.
"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!"
Chen Ke yelled, his hands desperately clutching at the mud, fingers digging into it, his eyes wide open, unable to calm down for a long ti.
"Chen Ke?! Hey! Hey!" Lucina shook his shoulder from the side, calling out worriedly. He looked up to see three won and Parker standing in front of him, looking down at him as he sat on the ground.
Chen Ke turned his head, and the huge white thing reached out a hand to drag him back. If it weren’t for it blocking his way, Chen Ke might have just rolled down the cliff.
"Mmhmm..." Chen Ke got up from the ground, patted the mud off his body, a trail of mud from the white gate in the center of the plaza leading to his feet, indicating he had flown out from inside.
"Are you okay?" Diana asked, looking at Chen Ke.
"I’m fine. How did you all co down?" Chen Ke turned to Sleery and Parker.
"You probably don’t know how long you were in there... If you hadn’t co out, we all would’ve been trapped here," Lucina stated, hands on her hips.
Chen Ke picked at his collar, tidying it up a bit, and said to the silent and sowhat frightened crowd, "Just for ten minutes or so, and you all are scared..."
"You’ve been in there for a while... If my phone isn’t broken, you’ve been there for at least three days," Lucina showed her phone to Chen Ke.
Chen Ke had nothing to say; even though ti had no aning in the Illusion Dream Center, the sensations of a person and the operation of chanical devices still felt the impact of ti, after all, feelings are not reasonable...
"Did you find what you were looking for?" Sleery asked, looking much better.
"Not yet, but I now understand the aning of all this and have seen the end..." Chen Ke said.
"The end?" Parker asked.
"Sleery saw the scene, if I’m not mistaken... it should be the year 2137 where Wang Ailin is... After she was taken away by the Foundation, we’ve never been able to find her," Chen Ke explained.
"Wang Ailin, huh... Could the third Holy Diamond be with her?" Diana asked.
"The H.C.P Foundation has two, I don’t know exactly where she is, but I know soone who can help try my luck at one of them," Chen Ke said.
"By the sound of it, that person is unlikely to help," Lucina remarked.
"She doesn’t have a choice this ti," Chen Ke said.
Xu Jing could travel through ti at will, so even if Wang Ailin wasn’t at her foundation, as long as he could get to the year 2137, he could always obtain so clues.
"I noticed you said ’she’... Chen Ke, the number of won around you keeps growing." Lucina was sowhat dissatisfied, holding her chest and standing aside, her face looking a bit unpleasant.
Counting carefully, the six Holy Diamonds needed six witches to activate, and Chen Ke’s group would have at least six won who were his Witch Group. This power wasn’t sothing he would give recklessly to soone he couldn’t trust.
"It can’t be helped; he needs the power of witches. However, as you have seen, those ready-made witches are not willing to help out of kindness. I have foreseen the death of at least four witches. Chen Ke, if your charm was a little greater, you might be able to turn Olivia and Srud against each other." Sleery chuckled flirtatiously.
"I’m not interested in that." Chen Ke extended his hand, with two small green stones laying in his palm, emitting a dazzling luster, a far cry from their previously dull, unactivated state.
"This is..." Diana leaned in to take a closer look.
"These are fully activated shards of the divine heart. Let’s see what’s different about them now." Chen Ke held the two Holy Diamonds in his hand and channeled Spiritual Power into them.
The Holy Diamonds in his hand beca hot and seed to embed themselves into his flesh, drilling up through his palm into his forearm. His suit sleeves were torn by the green halo, and unpredictable energy beams streaked beneath his skin, his eyes emanating a green glow.
A Spiritual Energy pulse occurred around Chen Ke, and a certain kind of steam began to emit from the white figure, which made others slowly back away, frightened of being affected by this Spiritual Energy.
In Chen Ke’s palm, the Holy Diamonds disappeared. They had beco part of him, the Sun Mark on his chest rotating as if it were a dial. He looked at the collapsed stone column on the square, moved his year-old gaze, and the mark on his chest began to rotate in the opposite direction. The stone column, which had already turned into a pile of stones, actually started to restore itself backward in ti. The stones flew in midair along the trajectory they had collapsed, eventually reassembling into a complete column.
Chen Ke then looked towards Lucina; he wanted to use his ti reversal ability to remove the scars on Lucina’s body, but it didn’t work.
"Ti Transcenders are not controlled by ti..." Chen Ke muttered to himself. It seed that unless she beca a witch and reconstructed her body, there was no way to erase the scars on Lucina’s waist and abdon.
Chen Ke stopped, and the energy vortex gradually cald down. One Holy Diamond, controlling ti reversal; the second Holy Diamond, expanding the range of reversal—these were the things he could do with the Holy Diamonds.
Although he couldn’t affect Ti Transcenders, he could affect all nonliving things and mortals. To those living in a loop of dreaming, Chen Ke had beco like a god.
"What new trick have you learned?" Diana asked from afar.
"This power... let’s call it Rewind," said Chen Ke with a smile.
The power ca from the green Holy Diamonds, so it didn’t require consumption of any resources. Chen Ke looked down at his shredded sleeve and thought a movent; the torn fabric of the sleeve also reversed in ti, returning to its brand new state.
"You’re one step closer to no longer resembling a human," Lucina comnted shaking her head.
"Co to think of it, you’re the only one left who’s still sowhat normal," Diana said looking towards Lucina.
"Being human isn’t a good option these days. Now, I want more Holy Diamonds; it’s ti to take the initiative." Chen Ke said.
"You’re planning to go find them?" Sleery guessed Chen Ke’s intention.
"Them?" Lucina didn’t quite understand.
"Olivia and Srud, the two witches from the company; they must still be alive," Chen Ke said.
