Chapter 522: Chapter 522: Flesh and Steel

Talking more is useless. Chen Ke switched his equipnt to An Helei’s Elegy and snapped his fingers at a black sedan nearby.

With a loud bang, spiritual energy burst forth, flipping the car and hurling it toward Bader.

Bader’s mutated right arm, acting like a self-aware gigantic worm, whooshed through the air, wrapping around the sedan and smashing it against the second-floor wall of the manor, driving it through a window.

Chen Ke, carrying the Moonlight Greatsword, ran towards Bader and leapt forward, swinging the sword down in a plunging strike!

Crack!

The Moonlight Greatsword slamd onto Bader’s chest, slicing off a quarter of his head. Purple fluid splattered out, hitting the ground and hissing as it lted whatever it touched. Whatever was inside Bader, his blood was definitely poisonous.

Despite the severe injury, Bader did not back down. He violently withdrew his mutated arm, and as Chen Ke was about to pull the greatsword out of him, Bader delivered a heavy punch that sent him flying.

Chen Ke slid on his back for several ters, attempting to roll backwards and get up, but the heavy armor forced him to sit up straight instead. He adjusted his helt so the narrow viewing slot aligned with his line of sight.

“Chen Ke!!!” Bader roared bizarrely, his voice sounding as if it were filtered through a modifier, with raspy and deep effects, complete with an echo, making him sound like a humanoid bass cannon.

Chen Ke grabbed a bundle of blue light with his left hand and threw a spiritual power crystal gun at him. The blue light spear crashed into Bader’s darkened muscles, shattering into specks of light, while Bader’s muscles faintly glowed dark red, as if absorbing the spiritual energy.

Bader’s height continued to increase, his muscle density surpassing that of a normal human. His ribs pierced through his muscles, growing tooth-like spikes, and his thick abdominal muscles caved inward, turning his belly into a gaping mouth.

Even the part of his head that Chen Ke had sliced off with the Moonlight was regrowing, and the bones on his shoulders were slowly mutating into the shape of shoulder armors. Bader’s face was no longer recognizable as human, looking more like a dark, twisted tumor embedded with two red jewels.

Enraged, Bader’s left arm transford into a thick claw, combining with his whip-like right arm, he struck a power stance, completely naked as his dress pants had also torn apart.

Chen Ke looked at the pure black muscle monster in front of him, feeling nothing but disgust. Was this so kind of professional? Was this so-called advanced way of using spiritual energy to forsake humanity?

Chen Ke recalled the Moonlight. From the last round of attacks, it was clear that Bader’s current form was not afraid of magic damage. Divine blood bullets would be effective, but more powerful firearms were needed.

He switched his entire equipnt to the Florence set, enhancing firearm lethality but also making him more vulnerable to damage. It seed like the best solution at the mont.

Chen Ke drew his shotgun and continuously fired at Bader. Divine blood bullets ignored attribute suppression and were generally effective against all types of enemies, but their lethality depended on the quality of the firearm.

This shotgun, borrowed from Li Moyang, was a standard model favored by S.W.A.T teams, the Remington M870, loaded with No. 12 deer bullets effective within a 30-ter range. If using a slug, the lethal range could reach up to 100 ters.

Of course, Chen Ke didn’t want to get close to Bader in such circumstances, but he was unsure if the divine blood bullets could change types based on his imagination. So, he kept thinking of slugs while pulling the trigger.

Bader’s chest and abdon were blasted open by Chen Ke’s bullets but quickly healed. The purple, pungent blood that spilled out reeked like sulfur on the ground. Unlike the effects of the Moonlight Greatsword, the bullet-wound, though healing, left red marks on his muscles.

“Bang!”

A bullet shattered Bader’s shoulder bone, blowing open his black muscles and exposing a cracked white bone underneath. Indeed, Chen Ke’s bullets turned into slugs, increasing their lethality. It seed that divine blood bullets could indeed change with the wielder’s imagination, given the firearm allowed that ammunition type.

“Chen Ke, how’s the situation outside?” Li Moyang’s voice ca through the earpiece.

“Are you still here?” Chen Ke asked, surprised.

“Of course, I have to control the situation; after all, it’s my first ti encountering a monster from Yasla,” Li Moyang responded.

“Is everything handled inside? I’ll have Lucina et you in the underground parking lot,” said Chen Ke.

As Bader’s massive arm surged towards him, Chen Ke dodged with a roll to the side. Then, using his spiritual energy to lift a nearby white limousine, he hurled it at Bader’s head and tossed a ti bomb to freeze it midair.

Chen Ke shot at the airborne white limousine, firing seven bullets at the front before releasing the ti lock.

“Boom!” The car exploded above Bader’s head, igniting his body.

“I hear a lot of noise outside, how many people are there?” Li Moyang asked.

“Just one, but he’s their leader. You better stay inside, I can handle it.” While Chen Ke spoke, he watched Bader, whom the flas seed not to affect.

Ti, flas, and magic—all three thods were unable to shake Bader. Only Divine Blood Bullets were effective, but the gun in Chen Ke’s hands wasn’t powerful enough. Even with the added bonus of the Florence suit, it was barely effective; he needed a bigger gun.

“All clear inside, six in total. I can co out and help you,” Li Moyang said at this mont.

“Are you kidding ? How can you help ? Stand beside and shoot?” Chen Ke rolled to the side, dodging Bader’s charge—he didn’t want to get caught by such a thing.

Lucina had already run away. She was smart; she had no place in this battle. At this mont, she had entered the auction hall, trying to find Li Moyang to see if she could help sohow.

“Where are you now?” Li Moyang asked.

“Behind the mansion in the parking lot. If you want to help, bring a big gun,” said Chen Ke.

Bader suddenly accelerated, closing the distance beside Chen Ke in an instant. His right claw lashed out, aiming for Chen Ke’s head. Chen Ke jerked up his shotgun to block; the gun was instantly torn into three pieces.

“You’re dead!” Bader said in a muffled voice.

“Wishful thinking.” Chen Ke instantly switched to the An Helei armor; the black shell blazed up, turning into a whitish scorching red. The next second, he exploded like a bomb, with heat waves and fireworks scattering everywhere.

Bader stepped back several ters, his muscles smoked from the heat but remained unhard, and Chen Ke also retreated.

“Is that all you’ve got? Ha! Looks like your upgrade wasn’t as thorough as mine!” Bader taunted. His muscles bulged, his thigh and calf muscles were tight as he charged at Chen Ke fiercely.

The speed was too fast; a nearly 10-foot giant rushing at the speed of 30 feet per second was overwhelmingly oppressive!

“Duck.” Li Moyang’s voice ca through the headset.

Chen Ke instinctively ducked, just feeling another massive object crash through the wall behind him, flying over his head toward Bader.

When he looked up and saw what was in front of him, his mouth hung open in shock.

“Oh… oh Mad Fak…” Chen Ke stared in astonishnt.

It was another nearly 10-foot tall iron man, resembling the H.C.P squad’s tin cans he had seen in Fan Hede,

but obviously, this iron man was much larger and without a high-tech feel, appearing more rudintary, unrestrained by paint, filled with rivets and welding marks.

The iron man’s powerful rear thruster emitted blinding flas as it grabbed Bader. From a nozzle in the palm of its left hand, it ejected dark golden flas, cutting off Bader’s claws in a flash.

Purple, dense acidic blood splashed onto the iron man’s casing, emitting a lting sizzle. Bader wrapped his mutated tentacle arm around the iron man’s head, trying to tear it off.

As if sensing the danger, the iron man’s right fist struck Bader, leaving an indent on his chest and sending him flying several ters away, while his head was partially pulled out, hanging from cables draped across his chest.

All this happened within five seconds.

“Li Moyang, don’t tell you’re inside that,” Chen Ke said.

“That’s right, I’m inside. This one’s a bit beyond my abilities, I only have two minutes… so whatever you can do, do it fast,” Li Moyang’s voice ca from the headset.

“I need a big gun,” said Chen Ke.

“Is this one big enough?” as Li Moyang spoke, a massive protrusion split open on the iron man’s back, and a GM94 grenade launcher fell out.
