“What if the situation outside is as bad as it is in here?” Chen Ke ca over and joined the conversation.
“If it’s really bad, the Marine Corps will co to handle it. If things have gotten to that point, my guess would be that a war has broken out,” Sam said.
“It could also be a large-scale spiritual energy outbreak. Opportunity City isn’t short on black boxes, although it’s unlikely,” Diana said, shrugging. This ti, she only moved her right arm.

The door, although severely corroded and looking very old, felt extrely sturdy.
Chen Ke looked up at the top. Rolling doors usually have a big box to hide the rolled-up door, and it was evident that the box was either on the outside or embedded in the wall.
On a whim, he jumped and slapped the top half of the door, making a loud bang.
“Look, the upper half sounds hollow,” said Chen Ke.
Sam also tried knocking. He didn’t need to jump; he was one ter ninety.
“You’re right. There must be a lot of stuff piled behind this door, blocking it,” said Sam.
Blocked… Chen Ke subconsciously thought of sothing but didn’t say it out loud.
Seeing Chen Ke’s strange expression, Sam couldn’t help but ask, “You seem to have thought of sothing.”
“You see, this subway station feels like it has been abandoned for many years…” Chen Ke hinted.

If the door had been blocked from the outside, it could only an that there was sothing strange beneath the subway station that people didn’t want to let out.
“Are there red clay figures here too?” Sam asked cautiously.
“Maybe. So we’d better be careful and quiet, not make too much noise, lest we disturb sothing we shouldn’t,” Chen Ke whispered.
Sam’s solemn and slightly fearful expression was evident on his dark face as he carefully nodded.
He was just a ranger, not a Spiritual Ability User, so he hadn’t dealt with monsters before and was understandably a bit scared in such situations.
