With such terrifying firepower, even corpses would be turned to dust; such was the consensus among the mbers of the Heavenly Court.
Within the tunnels, the monsters listened to the gradually ceasing cannon fire, their faces revealing looks of excitent.
"Great Saint, let’s charge!" soone said impatiently.
But Shituo King spoke with a serious expression, "Don’t rush, wait a bit longer."
The crowd was puzzled, not knowing what exactly the Great Sage of the Demon Clan was waiting for.
In the sky, the Treasure Ship had excellently completed its task, and the Heavenly soldiers operating it wore proud expressions on their faces.
This was the true power of the Treasure Ship, one of the Divine weapons employed by the Heavenly Court to dominate the Three Realms, and its might was fully displayed in this battle.
And none of this could have been achieved without their own efforts.
The Heavenly soldiers began to lower the altitude of the Treasure Ship, preparing to deploy the Heavenly soldiers on board.
At that mont, between the dense forests of the two great mountains, a large number of Treasure Ships suddenly erged, with numbers no less than those of the Heavenly Court.
Everyone suddenly wondered when the Heavenly Court had acquired so many Treasure Ships.
However, these newly ascended Treasure Ships strangely bore no flags of the Heavenly Court.
"Sothing’s wrong, these Treasure Ships seem to be encircling us," soone suddenly shouted.
It was then that the crowd realized sothing was amiss; they saw the newly ascended Treasure Ships slowly converging, clearly intending to surround them.
"Not good, it’s the enemy!"
On the opposing Treasure Ships, flags unique to the Demon Clan soared into the sky, their bright red banners striking against the sky.
"Escape quickly!" Realizing the dire situation, the Heavenly soldiers hastily maneuvered the Treasure Ship to turn back towards the Heavenly Court encampnt. However, the previous bombardnt had already left them in deep isolation, and now they found themselves encircled by the Demon Clan’s Treasure Ships, unable to escape easily.
The cannons on the Demon Clan’s Treasure Ships lit up and in just the first barrage, shattered the defenses of the Treasure Ship.
As the cannon fire continued, the Heavenly Court’s Treasure Ship could no longer withstand and fell from the sky.
The enormous Treasure Ship plumted from the heavens, crashing heavily onto the earth, and a massive roar reverberated through the sky as the priceless Treasure Ship was smashed to pieces.
In front of the stunned Heavenly Court onlookers, one Treasure Ship after another fell from the sky like dumplings, and the ground trembled at that mont.
"How is this possible!" soone exclaid in shock.
"Where did the Demon Clan get so many Treasure Ships!" Li Jing was the first to notice sothing was amiss.
As far as he knew, the total number of Treasure Ships lost by the entire Heavenly Court did not add up to this many, which ant that the Demon Clan had learned the thod to make Treasure Ships.
First the cannons, now the Treasure Ships; all this made him suspect that there was a traitor within the Heavenly Forge Bureau.
However, at this very mont, it was not the ti to worry about that. As the Heavenly Court Treasure Ships kept falling, Li Jing’s heart also plumted.
He knew it was all over. Without the mobility of the Treasure Ships, conquering Luzhou in the North in a short ti had almost beco impossible, and the war had ultimately progressed in a direction he did not wish to see.
With no other choice, Li Jing had to crush the Jade Talisman in his hand, a token given to him by the Jade Emperor before setting off, to be used only in dire ergencies.
Suddenly, the sky turned dark in an instant, the sun and the moon disappeared, and day turned into night.
The abrupt change from day to night terrified all living beings in the Three Realms, but those who were wise and experienced furrowed their brows instead; they had seen such a spectacle before, and it always heralded significant events.
For it signified that the Heavenly Court had deployed its secret weapon, the legendary Great Formation of the Celestial Stars Encircling the Heavens.
Said to be capable of destroying Heaven and Earth, it was one of the most fearso weapons in the Three Realms.
"I didn’t expect the Heavenly Court to use this thing!" soone sighed softly in the midst of the crowd.
This person had grizzled hair but a very young face, exuding an indescribable aura of nobility, dressed in a purple robe adorned with the images of gods on pilgrimage.
He stood among the crowd, yet no one could perceive his presence, as if he were a gentle breeze, a wisp of air.
"Great Formation of the Celestial Stars Encircling the Heavens," muttered an old beggar in Chang’an City, lifting his head with a face full of gri and solemnity, devoid of his usual lunacy.
As darkness fell and the sun and moon vanished, suddenly, brilliant starlight erged, and three hundred and sixty-five stars began to light up in succession in the sky, shining with dazzling brilliance.
The once faint starlight now beca exceptionally lustrous, and those small stars kept growing larger, seeming to draw closer and closer to this land.
In the sky, the grand sounds of a sacred ceremony echoed, and atop each star, faint human silhouettes appeared.
The Star Lords took their places, and in an instant, the stars seed to co to life, terrible power gathering along mysterious forces, and soon the radiant starlight filled the space between Heaven and Earth.
The starlight plumted towards the great land, the target being none other than Luzhou in the North.
When the starlight descended, Heaven and Earth paled in comparison, and the terrible power swept away the Demon Clan’s Treasure Ship in the blink of an eye; in that mont, they vanished from the world without a trace.
This dreadful power unleashed upon the land, leaving a deep abyss upon the terrain.
"Great Formation of the Celestial Stars Encircling the Heavens!" echoed soone’s murmured chant across Heaven and Earth.
The terrifying power caused all of Luzhou in the North to fall into a state of panic; these were forces beyond human capability, forces the newly born mbers of the Demon Clan had never witnessed before.
"Do not fear! It’s nothing!" bood a commanding voice in the ears of every mber of the Demon Clan, and those who knew him imdiately recognized it—it was the voice of the Demon Emperor.
The Emperor of the Demon Clan had sohow ensured his words echoed in the ears of every one of his people.
There stood Feng Jiu, proudly atop the newly erected Demon Court, clutching a blood-red banner in her hand. The banner’s color was a bright red, as if dyed with fresh blood, emblazoned with a large character for "demon."
Countless shadows of the Demon Clan flickered across it montarily.
Feng Jiu raised the banner unique to the Demon Clan, and as the red flag fluttered, it began to grow slowly, the faith of countless demons converging upon it, causing the banner to grow larger and larger, soon covering the entirety of Luzhou in the North.
The banner beca like a sheer veil, enveloping the whole of Luzhou in the North, casting a faint red mist over this ancient land.
At this mont, all the Immortals present felt the disruption of fate; anyone in Luzhou in the North who was not of the Demon Clan could no longer divine fate, and they could even feel a mysterious power on this land, repelling them.
On the previously tragic battlefield, nurous departed demons once again revealed their forms.
