As the gunfire ceased, the monsters huddled in the cave suddenly felt that the world had beco quiet.

The Tiger Demon, still blowing smoke and fog, saw this situation, imdiately extinguished the smoke in his hand, and said with a laugh, "The Heavenly Court has swung its three big moves, now it’s our turn."

The surrounding monsters also pulled out their weapons and began to warm up for the fight, the sa scene unfolding on the other mountain peaks.

When the Heavenly Court mobilized again, the monsters who had been waiting for a long ti finally sprang into action, howling as they charged towards the Treasure Ship of the Heavenly Court.

Li Jing saw innurable monsters crowding the mountain peaks on both sides and was montarily confused, not understanding where these monsters had co from; he didn’t believe any could survive such formidable firepower.

"Can we fire the cannons for another round?" Li Jing asked, frowning.

"Marshal, the cannons need to recharge, we can’t use them again in such short order."

Hearing this, Li Jing realized he had been sowhat negligent, failing to fully understand the capabilities of these cannons beforehand.

Actually, it wasn’t really his fault, after all, no one had anticipated that the Demon Clan could withstand such powerful firepower; the birth and developnt of anything new always required ti to settle and fernt.

Especially for the Immortals with their elongated lifespans, the passage of ti seed slow, which also made them far less sensitive to new things compared to the Human Clan.

Soon, the monsters that had leaped down from the mountain peaks engaged in combat with the Heavenly soldiers.

In just an instant, the battle reached a fever pitch, with the flux of mana filling the entire valley.

Blood and battle cries echoed throughout the valley, and in no ti, both sides had left many corpses behind.

Li Jing’s expression remained unchanged; Heavenly Soldiers and Generals were born in the Immortal Transformation Pond and could be resurrected even after death; the monsters did not have this ability—once dead, they were truly dead. He was not at all worried about a war of attrition.

However, as the battle wore on, he noticed sothing amiss. In theory, the True Spirits of the fallen Heavenly Soldiers and Generals should have been summoned back to the Immortal Transformation Pond of the Heavenly Court to reconstruct their bodies.

But now, these True Spirits seed to be affected by so mysterious force and were flying deep into the Valley of Ten Thousand Demons.

He looked towards the distance and saw a large banner fluttering in the wind, emblazoned with a blood-red character for "demon"—it was this very banner that was continuously devouring the True Spirits of the dead Heavenly soldiers.

"This!" Li Jing realized the gravity of the situation; with this, the famous Undead Army of the Heavenly Court had lost its deterrent power.

"Nezha, take action!" Li Jing said with a sigh.

Under the current circumstances, he couldn’t afford to hold back any longer. It was imperative to establish an advantage as early as possible; otherwise, he wouldn’t be able to explain the losses of the Heavenly Soldiers and Generals to the Jade Emperor.

Upon hearing the command, Nezha’s face showed a hint of excitent; he had been waiting for this order for a long ti. Having seen the fierce battle before him, the warlike him could hardly wait to plunge into the crowd and fight.

"At your command!"

Nezha rose into the sky, his feet on the Wind Fire Wheels, emitting terrifying flas that instantly swept across all directions, turning countless monsters to ashes.

Accompanying him were several other Immortals, each one a veteran of countless battles. Their participation tipped the evenly matched battle in favor of the Heavenly Court.

The appearance of these Immortal fighters inspired the Heavenly Soldiers and Generals, whose morale surged, and they began to overpower the Demon Clan.

Nezha, in particular, invoked his form with Three heads and Six arms, charging back and forth through the crowd.

"Nezha, don’t be arrogant, I’ll take you on!" With a loud shout, the Shituo King charged forward, parrying Nezha’s Fire-tipped Spear with his iron staff.

Following him ca various Demon Kings, who began to engage in fierce battles with the immortals of the Heavenly Court.

As the saying goes, soldier against soldier, general against general.

This battle quickly reached a deadlock, with monsters and heavenly soldiers dying continuously, the entire valley filled with the thick scent of death.

However, the Heavenly Court, after all, numbered in the millions. Though the terrain of the Valley of Ten Thousand Demons prevented them from deploying fully, as ti passed by, the Demon Clan gradually showed signs of weakening.

The Shituo King used his iron staff to fend off Nezha’s attacks. He bellowed, and his voice carried such formidable force that it swept across the area, knocking n and horses off their feet.

The monsters around him, upon hearing this roar, understood the signal and abandoned their opponents, starting to flee towards the deeper parts of the Valley of Ten Thousand Demons.

This sudden turn of events left those still in the midst of battle sowhat puzzled.

Li Jing furrowed his brows even more. It was clear that the enemy still had strength to spare yet chose to retreat, leaving him unsure of their reasons.

Nevertheless, the retreat of the monsters signified a victory for the Heavenly Court in this battle.

It also ant that the Heavenly Court had gained a strategic location in Luzhou in the North; as long as they held this ground, the Heavenly Army could continuously pour into Luzhou in the North, thereby taking the initiative in this war.

"Don’t chase after the poor survivors. Quickly regroup the soldiers, fortify the camp. We strike steadily!" Li Jing hastily issued the orders.

The opponent might well be trying to lure them into an encirclent. As a commander of many years, he wouldn’t make such a mistake.

Now that the Heavenly Court held an absolute advantage, his task was to strike steadily, gradually expanding his territory and whittling down the living forces of the Demon Clan.

But was the situation truly as he conjectured?

The Shituo King, leading a host of monsters, fled to the depths of the Valley of Ten Thousand Demons. He looked around and saw that many monsters had suffered heavy casualties. The cruelty of the war was beyond everyone’s expectations.

Yet the monsters were exceedingly excited, their nerves hyperactive from the fierce combat.

For many years, the Heavenly Court slaughtered the demons of Luzhou in the North at will, and the demons of Luzhou had beco a synonym for weakness in the Three Realms. All the monsters harbored a fire within them.

Today, they told all living beings in the Three Realms with their lives and blood that they were no longer helpless victims; anyone who wished to kill them would have to pay with their own life.

The Tiger Demon who loved to smoke was covered with wounds and soaked in blood, but he was still grinning, "This is so thrilling. These little brats from the Heavenly Court aren’t enough for to kill."

Speaking, and perhaps too agitated, he accidentally aggravated his injuries, causing him to grimace in pain.

His look amused everyone, and they burst into laughter, which lightened the somber mood of death and slaughter a bit.

"Great Saint, what should we do next?" asked the Demon Kings.

"Now it’s ti for our cannons to perform. The Heavenly Court thinks that cannons are their thing... today we’ll teach them how to use them properly." The Great Saint who moves mountains looked in the direction of the Heavenly Court with a cruel smile on his face.

"Let everyone rest up well; we’ll launch another assault when the ti cos."

At his command, all the monsters began to rest on the spot.
