"It’s alright, that Yellow-robed Monster’s strength is extraordinary; even as your master, I am not its match. The fact that you could exchange a few moves with it is already comndable," said the Tiger Tar, Arhat with a comforting smile.

"However, the destruction of the Buddhist Treasure is indeed your fault. It’s because of your outdated approach that this predicant has arisen," the Tiger Tar, Arhat added, turning his head to criticize.

Faming hung his head low, feeling downtrodden. This incident was a major blow to him; he had hoped that his journey to the Baoxiang Kingdom would bring glory to the Buddhist Sect and turn that place into a new Buddha Kingdom. Little did he expect that not only would he fail to accomplish anything, but he would also end up destroying the Buddhist Treasure.

Perhaps sensing his disciple’s thoughts, the Tiger Tar, Arhat continued, "You needn’t worry about the Buddhist Treasure. Our sect still has plenty left. Do you have any clues about the person responsible for its destruction?"

"Could it be that Yellow-robed Monster?" Faming asked, surprised.

"That demon, since it recognizes , surely isn’t a common demon of the mortal world. Most likely, it’s a deity from the Heavenly Court who has descended in secret. It’s just that I do not know who it could be. They have shown themselves yet remained hidden; I couldn’t see clearly. However, such a person usually carries themselves with great pride and arrogance—it seems unlikely for them to stoop to destroying the Buddhist Treasure. I’m afraid there might be soone else behind this," the Tiger Tar, Arhat shared his judgnt.

Fuming with anger, Faming had been convinced that it was the Yellow-robed Monster who had destroyed the Buddhist Treasure, which was why he had engaged in a fierce battle. Now, to hear his master’s words and realize that he had been deceived made him feel both embarrassed and infuriated, wishing he could tear the real culprit to shreds.

It’s not that he hadn’t considered Lin Fang; he was rely certain that with Lin Fang and Little Fox’s abilities, they could not possibly destroy the Buddhist Treasure, and thus he was led astray.

Leaving the matters of Mount Ling aside, Lin Fang had quickly regrouped with Little Fox after destroying the Buddhist Treasure. The two dared not linger in that place any longer. After all, they had caused a great disaster and hurriedly set off towards the west.

Along the way, the sparse human presence and rugged roads made the journey challenging. Fierce beasts frequently leaped out from the sides of the mountains, and Mountain Spirits and Wild Monsters loitered in dark places, causing Lin Fang to sigh that indeed, the Tang Monk’s Journey to the West was not an easy path and only those who are steadfast and resilient could succeed.

Little Fox, however, was sowhat anxious. After all, he had never been to this place since he was young, and he didn’t know how those so-called relatives would treat him.

Thus, he nervously kicked pebbles underfoot, his eyes filled with panic and insecurity. Just then, a warm hand gently laid upon his head.

Looking up, he saw Lin Fang’s comforting face: "It’s okay. If they’re not nice to you, I’ll take you to wander the ends of the earth. How’s that?"

Upon hearing this, joy flashed in Little Fox’s eyes. He looked at Lin Fang and nodded firmly.

"But before we get to your ho, I need to dress up a bit!"

Lin Fang transford in a shake, taking on the form of a snake demon with a human torso and snake’s tail, with a faint Demon Qi emanating from his body.

"This is?"

"My usual form is too human-like. It’s hard to blend in among demons like this; this way is just fine." However, Lin Fang hadn’t used his tail to move about for quite so ti and found it sowhat unfamiliar, feeling that it was more comfortable to walk on two legs.

As they walked, they saw a towering mountain peak. The mountain was craggy and layered, yet the summit was unusually flat. Seeing this, Lin Fang guessed that this place was Pingding Mountain.

He paused, pondering for a long ti, and then chose to bypass the mountain with Little Fox.

"Big Brother Lin Fang, why are we taking a detour? Is there sothing wrong with that mountain?" Little Fox asked, puzzled.

"If I’m not mistaken, that mountain is called Pingding Mountain. There’s a Lotus Cave on the mountain with two powerful Demon Kings residing in it. If we carelessly climb up there, we’re likely to be caught by them," Lin Fang said gravely.

"Ah, what should we do? My grandmother is in that area. She hasn’t fallen victim to them, has she?" Little Fox hastily inquired.

"Don’t worry, everything will be alright."

Lin Fang was well aware that the Fox Spirit in this area had not only escaped harm but had instead gained powerful allies. The Golden Horned King and The Silver Horned King even acknowledged the Old Fox as their godmother.

"By the way, what’s the na of our relative, and how will we find them once we reach the mountain?"

It was only then that Lin Fang rembered he had never actually asked Little Fox who his relatives were, though they were probably the Fox Spirits of Yalong Cave.

"My grandmother is nad Su Chan, and she’s the mistress of Yalong Cave."

Lin Fang sized up Little Fox, surprised. He hadn’t expected that the little guy indeed had an impressive background—the Old Fox of Yalong Cave was the godmother of the Golden Horned King and The Silver Horned King, and she even possessed the bestowed treasure, the Horo Golden Rope. She was certainly an influential figure, albeit one who was tricked by Monkey and beaten to death with a single strike.

Leading Little Fox around Pingding Mountain, they soon caught sight of a Wushu Forest not far ahead.

"Halt! What demons are you to dare intrude upon Yalong Cave?" A charming voice rang out, and a Fox Spirit erged, wielding a Narrow Sword with a wary look at the two visitors.

"My lady, please excuse us. We are here to seek relatives at Yalong Cave," Lin Fang quickly bowed in greeting, not wanting to create issues at this critical mont.

The Fox Spirit looked at Lin Fang and Little Fox in surprise, and upon seeing Little Fox, she reacted with shock and hurriedly ran into the cave.

The Old Fox Su Chan was lying on her bed, ditating with her eyes closed. Ever since she had acknowledged Golden Horn and Silver Horn as her godsons, her life had improved significantly. The nearby demons treated her with great respect, not daring to slight her in the slightest.

At that mont, a hurried footstep approached from the cave’s entrance, disrupting the silver-haired Old Fox’s peace and prompting her to open her eyes impatiently, only to see a maid rush in, panic-stricken.
