Liu Ming stepped into the attic and found the interior even more vast than the already huge exterior suggested.
In this spacious area, rows of wooden cabinets were neatly arranged, their wood grain clear, and even a faint scent wafted out—clear signs they were made from very precious wood.
Above the cabinets, books were densely packed.
Out of curiosity, Liu Ming opened one and saw "Casting Elucidation" written on it. He couldn’t help but smile.
He was a renowned craftsman, skilled not only in wood carving but also in casting. His expertise was outstanding, and among all the craftsn he knew, none could surpass him.
Therefore, he believed that the content of this book should be mostly familiar. It might be a treasure to so ordinary craftsn, but it was likely to be a re trifle to him—tasteless to eat, but a pity to throw away.
With that thought in mind, he slowly opened the book and began to read.
Yet to his astonishnt, so of the things written in the book far exceeded his understanding, and the areas that had previously perplexed him were all explained within.
"This book!" Liu Ming was so shocked that he couldn’t speak.
He didn’t know why he had suddenly co to this mysterious place, but he was unwilling to give up this special opportunity, absorbing the knowledge from the book eagerly.
It seed to open a new world for him, lifting the veil of mystery from the world and allowing him a glimpse at its true face.
He lost track of ti as he imrsed himself in reading, unwilling to waste a single mont.
"Casting Elucidation" was not a thick book, but many of its contents required ti to understand, so Liu Ming did not read quickly.
However, just as he reached a critical part, he felt a trendous force sweep over him. It was as if he had fallen from the Nine Heavens. When he opened his eyes next, he found himself leaning on the table with the sa surroundings as before. The whole experience seed like a distant dream.
"Was it really just a dream?" Liu Ming muttered to himself, a sense of regret forming in his heart.
But when he recalled what he had read before, he found that the content of "Casting Elucidation" was now clear in his mind, and he was certain it was real knowledge.
"It’s not a dream; such a place truly exists. But why had I never been there before, and now I can go?" Liu Ming pondered with confusion, not understanding why he could access this mysterious space.
That’s right, he wanted to enter that space again. Just one book was so extraordinary, and he rembered clearly that the vast attic was filled with an endless number of books. To soone constantly thirsting for knowledge, this was the greatest temptation.
Yet no matter how he tried, he couldn’t enter the mysterious attic again.
Having no choice, Liu Ming began to carefully revisit his experience from the previous night until he rembered the dark ring.
"Could it be because of that ring?" he mumbled and hurried to the cabinet to take out the seemingly ordinary, dark ring and put it on his finger.
Sure enough, the drowsiness ca over him once more.
Liu Ming closed his eyes and once again entered his dreams, his consciousness returning to the mysterious attic. He stood in the sa spot, holding "Casting Elucidation" as if ti in this place had eternally frozen at the day he left.
Without any hesitation, Liu Ming turned to another book, which bore the title "Rune Introduction."
With curiosity, he flipped through, eager to understand what runes were.
Not knowing was one thing, but upon reading, he was startled. The book detailed how to learn and utilize runes.
And these runes were one of the most powerful things in the world, symbols of the great way. Understanding them ant seeing the path.
"The Way of Runes was created by the Grand Supre Elderly Lord to explicate the way of Heaven and Earth. They are infinitely variable, can be used in Artifact Refining and Rune Creation, and can even transform Heaven and Earth."
Gazing at the introduction in "Rune Introduction," Liu Ming’s heart swelled with excitent. This was what he had always wanted to find, the direction of his pursuit.
As a genius craftsman, with the continuous improvent in his skills, he had realized that what he lacked was the ability to ’Turn Stone into Gold,’ and he suspected that this ability was related to runes. Unfortunately, without anyone to guide him, he was unable to grasp the mysteries of Heaven and Earth.
Yet "Rune Introduction" opened for him this magical portal, where wondrous vistas unfolded before his eyes, captivating the genius craftsman so much that he could not bring himself to look away.
For one who had never studied the Way of Runes, the profundity of runes was terrifying. Even for a prodigy like Liu Ming, learning them was arduous.
After an indeterminate amount of ti, he felt a powerful force assail him, aware that his ti in this space was ending. Reluctantly, he put down the book and began his return.
Upon opening his eyes, he was back at his wooden table, but this ti his face was full of smiles.
He gently touched the ring on his finger. Who would have thought that such an inconspicuous ring could be such a rare treasure?
"I must not let others discover its function," Liu Ming secretly resolved. Possessing a treasure without guilt is a cri in itself; if the ring’s powers were known, it would certainly cause a terrible tempest of greed and bloodshed.
Day by day, Liu Ming read books in the attic using the ring’s power. Only then did he realize the unfathomable mystery of the attic—it seed to contain all the knowledge of the world, not just the way of the craftsman but also nurous cultivation techniques.
At this mont, as Liu Ming picked up another book, his expression revealed shock, for the cover of the book clearly read: "Construction of the Treasure Ship."
"How is this possible!" Liu Ming exclaid in astonishnt.
The Treasure Ship was a secret of the Heavenly Court, a Divine weapon with the power to intimidate the Three Realms. The Heavenly Court kept a very high level of secrecy regarding the Treasure Ship, but here lay a book on how to construct it.
Liu Ming’s first reaction was to think the book must be a fake, but rembering the mysteriousness of the attic, he started to doubt.
With such conflicting feelings, Liu Ming slowly opened the book and began to read carefully.
Gradually, his face showed utter amazent, for, with his knowledge and understanding, it seed plausible that following the book’s instructions could indeed lead to the construction of a Treasure Ship.
"So it requires so many resources to create a Treasure Ship. It’s no wonder it’s a Divine weapon that can shake the Three Realms."
