Without the hindrance of the little demons, their chances of killing Black Robe would increase significantly.

While the little demons outside were fighting furiously, Xing Wu and Little Feng’s faces revealed a trace of a smile as they slowly walked into the depths of the cave mansion.

At this ti, Black Robe was still sleeping sweetly in the tenderness of his won, seemingly trying to make up for the sleep he had lost since the fall of the Demon Emperor.

The barrier set up outside did an excellent job of concealing the noise from outside, allowing him to sleep even more soundly.

Xing Wu and Little Feng advanced slowly, seeing the splendor that Black Robe had painstakingly created in his cave mansion, they displayed a look of mockery.

It seed that Black Robe had been afraid of poverty, for his own mansion was built lavishly, with gold and silver everywhere, as if he couldn’t show off his present wealth without doing so.

However, ’painting a tiger not according to the bone will only make it look like a dog.’ This scene, full of the air of a nouveau riche, only made the two of them laugh.

Inside the mansion, the Demon King slept soundly; outside, however, a river of blood had already ford. The unobstructed conflict grew worse, and the crazed little demons, their eyes red with killing, turned the hilltop into a shade of crimson in a short ti.

Black Robe suddenly awoke from his dream, his intuition telling him that sothing was amiss. He pushed away the female demon beside him and looked around.

Too quiet. Today’s mansion was uncharacteristically silent. With his years of evading assassination, he quickly sensed that sothing was wrong.

Without any hesitation, he turned and sprinted towards the depths of the mansion, where a secret tunnel he had dug allowed him to quickly escape.

This had beco a habit of his: whenever he arrived at a place, his first priority was to find an escape route.

The air was already heavy with the scent of blood, and Black Robe’s heart grew more anxious. He didn’t know who was targeting him, but as a precaution, he chose to leave, planning to uncover the truth afterwards.

As for the little demons outside, if they were dead, so be it. They were like weeds on the roadside, springing up in great numbers at any mont.

So for Black Robe, the lives of these little demons held no value, and he hurried toward the deeper parts of the mansion.

"Too late!" a resonant voice echoed in the mansion. Black Robe turned his head and saw two n appear in a corner when he did not know how.

One tall, one short; one middle-aged, one young.

"Who are you?" Black Robe asked with so confusion.

Upon closer inspection, he suddenly realized that the young man was the remnant of the Demon Court he had captured that ti.

"Last ti you were lucky to escape with your life. Instead of being grateful for the rcy of the heavens, you dare to co looking for trouble. Truly seeking your own death."

Now that he recognized the identity of the youth, Black Robe’s fear diminished sowhat, after all, no matter how fortunate the youth had been in this period of ti, it was unlikely his strength had increased to an absurd level.

Therefore, he stopped his escape, ready to properly teach this ignorant fool a lesson.

"Black Robe, do you recognize ?" Xing Wu said in a deep voice.

Only then did Black Robe shift his gaze to Xing Wu’s face, and found that he did not recognize the man, though sothing about his eyes seed familiar.

"Who are you, you rat, to be shouting in my presence?" Black Robe said disdainfully, yet a sense of alertness was already growing within him.

He felt a pressure emanating from Xing Wu’s imposing figure, a sign that the man’s physical body had reached a certain level of strength; this man might well be a powerful practitioner of body cultivation.

It is known that within the Demon Clan, there are many monsters with formidable demon bodies, but few can truly be considered body cultivators, because this path of cultivation is incredibly painful, and only the most extre agony can forge the strongest of bodies.

Thus, the strength of every body cultivator was not to be underestimated.

"My na is Xing Wu!"

"Xing Wu," Black Robe muttered the na, searching his mory for any trace of it.

Suddenly, a realization flashed through his mind; the features of the man before him overlapped with soone from his past.

"You are the son of Xing Shan?" Black Robe asked, puzzled.

"I didn’t expect you to still rember my father’s na," Xing Wu said with a hint of resentnt.

Black Robe sighed uncommonly, a look of nostalgia flickering in his eyes.

Back in the day when he was in the Demon Court, Xing Shan had been a junior he valued greatly. In fact, it could be said that Xing Shan’s rise had been facilitated by his recomndation.

Regrettably, due to his own betrayal, they had beco bitter enemies. Yet the ti he spent with those young companions was now, upon reflection, the most contented period of his life.

"Is he doing well?" Black Robe asked, his tone lancholic.

"He’s dead!"

"That figures. I destroyed his foundation that year, and after the tornt he endured, it’s impressive he managed to live until now," Black Robe stated with a laugh.

"So, have you co here today for revenge?"

"Just the two of you, green and inexperienced, dare to seek revenge against ? Truly unaware of life and death. Well, today I will send you off to the Underworld to join your dear dead father," Black Robe said with a hearty laugh, his voice ringing with a terrifying and ferocious mirth, as his eyes glinted with a crimson hue.

As he spoke, a thick dark aura burst forth from his body. It seed to emanate from Hell itself, reeking of ominous intent. In an instant, it wrapped around him, forming a pitch-black armor adorned with mysterious patterns.

"You little bastards. When I road unchallenged across the Luzhou in the North, you weren’t even born. If you want my head, co and try to take it," Black Robe boasted, laughing wildly, his smile fierce and frightening, his eyes shining with a blood-red light.
