Yin Qi put forward his speculation, after all, for so many years, the Immortal Transformation Pond had never encountered any problems.

"Impossible, the Immortal Transformation Pond is a Supre Treasure, even a powerful being could not prevent the return of a soul, unless these people never died in the first place," Master Zhang said decisively.

As the custodian of the Immortal Transformation Pond, he had a profound understanding of this treasure and naturally knew its secrets.

As the two conversed, from the direction of Luzhou in the North, a soul suddenly flew into the Immortal Transformation Pond.

"A soul has returned!" Master Zhang’s face revealed a trace of joy.

Yin Qi also showed a pleased expression, as long as souls returned to the Immortal Transformation Pond they would be able to clarify the ins and outs of the matter, and whose doing it was would beco crystal clear.

"Heavenly Master!" Yin Qi looked at Master Zhang sowhat eagerly.

But Master Zhang said, "Don’t be hasty, let the soul settle in the Immortal Transformation Pond to be nourished; otherwise, it could harm the soul, which would be disastrous."

After a short while, Master Zhang silently recited an incantation, and a figure slowly erged from the Immortal Transformation Pond, bearing the appearance of the Heavenly General who had chosen to end his own life in front of Lin Fang.

Seeing his appearance, Yin Qi’s face showed a delighted expression; this was his trusted subordinate, and if he had returned, he would naturally be able to tell them everything about the situation.

However, he imdiately noticed sothing was off; the resurrected Heavenly General had a dull expression, with lifeless eyes, resembling an idiot.

Yin Qi hurriedly approached, asking with concern, "How do you feel now?"

But the Heavenly General stood there foolishly, silent and unresponsive.

"Speak up, what has happened to you now?" Yin Qi prompted urgently, wanting to get to the bottom of the matter.

The Heavenly General in front of him, however, seed deaf to the urging, still showing no reaction.

"There’s no use asking. His soul has been injured, and he has beco an idiot," Master Zhang’s indifferent voice ca from beside Yin Qi.

"Soone struck his soul with mana the instant it made its escape."

"What should we do now!" Yin Qi was suddenly full of anxiety; a whole fleet had disappeared without a trace, and without so useful information, how could he explain to his ruler.

Just thinking about the thods of the Supre of the Three Realms made Yin Qi’s scalp tingle; at this mont, he was like a drowning man unwilling to let go of even a straw.

Master Zhang glanced at the foolish Heavenly General and then slowly spoke, "There’s still one thing we can try."

Master Zhang stopped short.

"My Grand Celestial Master Zhang, at a ti like this, what words are there that you cannot speak?" Yin Qi asked urgently.

"We can directly peruse his soul to see what happened during that mont, but by doing so, his soul will completely dissipate," Master Zhang said with a sigh, gesturing towards the Heavenly General.

Yin Qi looked at the Heavenly General, gritted his teeth, and said, "He’s better off dead in his current state; don’t worry, Heavenly Master, I, Yin Qi, will take full responsibility."

At this mont, he had decided to let the soul of his trusted aide dissipate as a price to uncover the truth of the matter.

Master Zhang gave Yin Qi a surprised look, silently marveling that the new Marshal Tianpeng was indeed a heartless man.

Although treating such a soul injury was extrely difficult, there was still a glimr of hope; yet, Yin Qi insisted on dispersing the soul of his trusted aide, just to get to the truth.

He took a deep breath and said, "If that is the case, then the old Daoist will make a move."

With that, he pointed a finger at the Heavenly General, his fingertip lighting up with a dazzling glow, slowly falling upon the Heavenly General.

The idiotic Heavenly General suddenly let out a piercing scream, the sound shooting straight through the skies, as it was pain sinking into the soul, unbearable for any living being.

After the scream, the Heavenly General’s body split like a cracked porcelain doll, covered with a dense matrix of cracks, looking terrifying.

Soon after, with a loud bang, the Heavenly General’s body burst apart, turning into pure Immortal Spirit Qi and Incense Willpower, returning to the Immortal Transformation Pond.

And his soul remained in place, gradually turning into countless points of light.

His soul dispersed.

Master Zhang then waved his sleeve, and the countless dancing points of light converged in the air, revealing a scene.

It was an imnse Buddha, towering up to heaven, enveloped in dense Buddha’s Light, with grand chanting sounds seemingly coming from around, making one think they were on Mount Ling.

Soon after, endless scriptures resounded, causing Master Zhang and Yin Qi to feel their minds sway, as if a mysterious force was luring them inexplicably into the Buddhist Sect.

Fortunately, they were Celestial Beings of the Heavenly Court, and although the power was uncomfortable for them, it could not affect their spirits.

anwhile, the illusion of the Buddha disappeared, leaving no other scenes to be seen.

Master Zhang sighed slightly and said, "This is the scene that left the deepest impression in his mory; hence even his damaged soul retained it clearly. I finally understand why those Heavenly Soldiers and Generals disappeared without any explanation."

They were not killed but were enlightened into becoming followers of the Buddhist Sect.

Realizing this, Master Zhang and Yin Qi involuntarily exchanged glances, suddenly discovering that the Buddhist Sect’s thod of forcible conversion was the bane of the Heavenly Soldiers and Generals.

While this power was of little use to them as immortals, it was enough to change the faith of the lowly mana Heavenly Soldiers and Generals, thoroughly converting them to Buddhism; after all, those with their souls entrusted to the Immortal Transformation Pond naturally had weaker spiritual resistance.
