That surging Sword Intent, that sincere devotion and pursuit of the Sword Dao, was destined to reach the peak of this world’s swordsmanship.
"To witness this Dao, I would die without regrets," White Ape muttered to himself, his face brimming with a blissful smile.
Hearing the Dao in the morning, one could die in the evening. It sumd up his mindset at that mont, that seeing the Supre Sword Way was the fortune of a lifeti.
"Do whatever you want to do. I need to thoroughly comprehend this," White Ape quietly said to Lin Fang.
"Then you must seize this opportunity well," Lin Fang said with a smile.
Yet, he secretly cursed himself for being an idiot in swordsmanship. Otherwise, wouldn’t he have soared to the heavens by now? Still, it was good that White Ape had this opportunity. In the future, should they encounter the previous encirclent by the Buddhist Sect, it would help to break out of the siege.
Feng Jiu led Lin Fang through the canyon, only to realize that Sword Qi crisscrossed within it. Fortunately, after such a long ti, this Sword Qi had sowhat weakened.
And luminous brilliance radiated from Feng Jiu, keeping the Sword Qi at bay.
After exiting the canyon, Lin Fang, sowhat relieved, looked back at the canyon and breathed a sigh of relief. He had thought he was going to die when he was enveloped by the endless Sword Qi.
This Sword Qi, imbued with the purest intent to kill, constantly tortured one’s spirit, instilling involuntary fear. Fortunately, having a powerful figure by his side kept him from choosing to flee.
However, this journey was also a cultivation of the Daoist Heart, though harsh, the rewards were substantial.
Looking up, he faced a vast lake with clear water to the bottom. Outside, the world was blanketed in ice and snow, yet here it was as warm as spring.
Upon seeing this place, the smile on Feng Jiu’s face beca even more radiant. She beckoned to Lin Fang with a light wave of her hand and then took the lead inside.
Following Feng Jiu, Lin Fang realized that this place was even larger than he had imagined. Mountains and fields were covered with beautiful flowers competing in splendor.
The air was laden with a rich fragrance of flowers, filling the atmosphere with vibrancy, forming a stark contrast to the icy wilderness outside.
Feng Jiu, exceptionally lively at this mont, though she had been unusually spirited since her resurrection, appeared even more joyful today. She ran across the adow, seemingly forgetting her status as the Demon Emperor.
Watching her cheerful silhouette, Lin Fang couldn’t help but feel extrely content, a smile involuntarily spreading across his lips, and even his steps beca lighter.
Continuing onward, he saw a peaceful village, currently standing quietly on this land of birdsong and floral scent.
The gentle rise of cooking smoke and the sounds of roosters crowing and dogs barking could be heard.
At that mont, Lin Fang’s heart cald, and for the first ti since arriving in this world, he felt his mind settle in a place.
This place seed to possess a magical power that allowed one to shed the shackles in their heart and beco serene.
"What place is this?" Lin Fang asked curiously.
Feng Jiu said with a smile, "This is my ho."
"Ho?" Lin Fang looked around curiously.
He had never expected such a village to be the ho of the Demon Emperor. After all, following her ergence, which suppressed the Three Realms, countless people had tried to trace her origins but had invariably failed.
She seed to have appeared out of thin air, as if she had always been a peerless master from the mont she appeared. As for her past, her origins, even her hotown, no one knew.
Today, Lin Fang saw the Demon Emperor’s hotown and suddenly felt like he knew a great secret.
Following Sister Feng Jiu toward the village, he saw two little kids squatting and playing with mud as soon as they entered.
Sister Feng Jiu walked up to them quietly, then suddenly shouted. The two little kids, startled, dropped the mud and jumped up as Sister Feng Jiu let out a bell-like laugh.
The two little kids turned around angrily, but their faces brightened instantly when they saw Sister Feng Jiu.
"Sister Feng Jiu, it’s you! We are so happy to see you!" they exclaid joyfully, evidently very familiar with her.
"Wow, who is this handso guy here?" one little fellow with a dangling snot asked, pointing at Lin Fang.
"Dumb, that must be Sister Feng Jiu’s husband. Don’t forget, when Sister Feng Jiu left, she said she would definitely bring back a Wishful Lord," another retorted.
Sister Feng Jiu blushed slightly at the children’s words and lightly pushed the two kids away, saying, "Go, go, go, what do you little kids know? Go ho to your mom."
The little rascals stuck out their tongues at her, saying, "Even though I’m still young, I have lived a long ti already, I’m not a little kid!"
The little rascals puffed out their chests, trying to show Sister Feng Jiu that they had grown a lot since she last saw them.
Sister Feng Jiu stretched out her hand and made a asuring gesture, then laughed, "Really? When I left, you were about this tall, and it seems like you haven’t changed much."
"Impossible, I asured last year and I definitely grew a bit. I don’t believe it!" the youngster replied, then strutted into the village, apparently to prove he had indeed grown.
"Let’s go inside. I’ll show you my ho," Sister Feng Jiu, having cald her emotions, smiled and invited Lin Fang.
Lin Fang also smiled and nodded, walking shoulder to shoulder with Sister Feng Jiu into the strange village.
They had barely walked a few steps when a bunch of children rushed out from the village and imdiately surrounded Lin Fang and her.
"Wow, so this is Sister Feng Jiu’s My Lord; he’s really handso. I want to find soone like him too," a little girl in red clothes and with twin braids said happily.
"Dream on, the village chief said we can’t leave the village. You will have to settle for soone like Little Snot," a taller girl said disdainfully.
Everyone then turned their gaze to the little fellow with the snot whom Lin Fang had seen earlier.
The little guy, hearing this, was very pleased, lightly sniffed his nose, and pointing at it, asked, "Little Fire, are you serious? Can I really beco Xiao Yu’s My Lord?"
Xiao Yu, hearing this, showed a disgusted look and said, "Give up that idea; I would never marry soone who can’t even keep his nose clean."
After saying that, she pushed Little Snot to the ground and ran off angrily, making Little Snot burst into tears.
At that mont, the earth shook so much that Lin Fang could hardly stand. He stared at Little Snot, crying on the ground, sensing a mysterious power within him, and his mouth fell open in awe.
This little fellow possessed the power of laws.
