The Divine Exorcist Great Saint had a smile of triumph on his face, as if he were admiring an outstanding masterpiece.

As the mastermind behind the entire affair, in that mont, his heart was filled with pride. After so many years of painstaking planning, his efforts were finally bearing fruit.

The inner joy and sense of fulfillnt made his body shiver involuntarily.

The Jade Emperor quietly watched the overjoyed and content Divine Exorcist Great Saint, his face devoid of any pleasure, instead he sighed almost imperceptibly.

This sigh echoed mournfully in the Lingxiao Treasured Palace, indescribably evoking a sense of lant.

He could still rember the Divine Exorcist Great Saint of those years, such a simple little monkey.

Back then, he too was just an ordinary youth having barely set foot on the path to becoming an Immortal, when he encountered the little monkey deep in the mountains and they beca friends, a friendship that lasted countless years.

During the battle with the Demon Emperor back then, he didn’t actually have much of an advantage. It was the little monkey who, in the face of danger, undertook a mission and infiltrated the Demon Court from within, which ultimately led to his own victory.

However, it was perhaps the long undercover life that drastically changed the little monkey’s temperant. He was no longer as innocent and adorable as when he was a child; instead, he beca extrely sinister, and seed to be enshrouded in conspiracy all day long.

And in that valley in Luzhou in the North, the Demon Master coldly watched the changes on the sacrificial altar, the flas of hatred burning fiercely in his eyes.

After so many years, he had finally found the traitor responsible for the destruction of the Demon Court, who had at last revealed his true colors.

But at this mont, he had no ti to denounce the traitor, as the thorny situation before him still needed his cleanup.

After being enveloped by the endless resentnt of all living beings, the Nine-headed Insect instantly beca even more fearso in appearance.

Darkness filled his Consciousness Space in an instant; that was the resentnt of all living beings, now completely engulfing the two individuals within the Consciousness Space.

The Nine-headed Insect began to descend into depravity at the mont he faced this power and shortly lost consciousness entirely.

Soon, the power spread towards the Demon Emperor.

Yet, the expression of the Demon Emperor remained unmoved by joy or sorrow, although he slightly frowned upon seeing the resentnt of all living beings.

The black power slowly spread to his feet, as the terrifying force of resentnt filled every corner of the space.

Out of the darkness, nurous human faces seed to erge from nowhere; each of them hideous, with blood-red eyes, staring intently at the Demon Emperor standing in the Consciousness Space, their mouths continuously emitting unpleasant curses.

The voices of resentnt echoed in the space.

Suddenly, the Demon Emperor spoke, "Silence!"

No sooner had the words fallen, than the most dreadful flas ignited throughout the space, as if intent on burning the world itself.

The black mist struggled within the flas, eventually taking on a human shape; upon closer inspection, it looked very much like the Nine-headed Insect.

The mont he appeared, he let out a cackling laugh, and while drawing closer to the Demon Emperor, he said, "Look at the once lofty Demon Emperor, now having fallen to such a state. It’s truly exhilarating."

His face bore a wildly jubilant smile, seemingly overjoyed to witness the current state of the Demon Emperor.

"To think that it can only resurrect through my body, what a joke indeed."

"But this ti you are destined to fail, my body can only belong to ," he said, his face twisting into a ferocious grin.

Suddenly, it seed as if endless beings appeared around him, each emitting a ghastly laugh like the Nine-headed Insect.

Their voices echoed continuously in the Consciousness Space, sounding alarmingly eerie.

The Demon Emperor quietly watched the reborn Nine-headed Insect, his face neither sad nor joyous, but his eyes imperceptibly showed a trace of disgust.

This was an amalgamation of the darker side of all living beings, naturally provoking aversion in creatures, and likewise, enemies of all life, inherently filled with extre hatred for everything in the world.

The fierce flas continued to burn unceasingly, but they could not drive away the newly born Demon Head; on the contrary, as ti passed, the Demon Head’s figure seed to grow stronger, almost as though it was going to fill the entire space.

"Co, rge with , and we shall beco the most powerful existence in the entire Three Realms. Then, not to ntion the Jade Emperor’s Heavenly Court, even the Founder of the Three Pure Ones would have to crawl at our feet," said the Demon Head arrogantly.

His voice seed to carry a unique power that could contaminate the soul, and under normal circumstances, such contamination would be re ants to the Demon Emperor. However, the current Demon Emperor had already lost his body, with only a fraction of his will remaining here, thus utterly unable to resist the erosion of this power completely.

He looked down at his body, only to find that during this conversation, the Demon Head had already secretly infused his own power into it. After all, this was the Consciousness Space of the Nine-headed Insect, and now that the Demon Head, having devoured and rged with the Nine-headed Insect, was in so sense the master here.

With this developnt, the Demon Emperor’s vigilance had been impaired through a gradual shift of power.

anwhile, outside, the Nine-headed Insect carrying the flag suddenly opened its eyes, which no longer showed any eyeballs, only the deepest darkness.

It was the most terrifying darkness, seemingly connected to the Abyssal Land, where just one glance could unsettle the mind and spontaneously generate a surge of fear.

"Is it already a bit late?" the Demon Master muttered to himself. This phenonon indicated that the Demon Head, born from the resentnt of myriad beings, had begun to gain initial control over the Nine-headed Insect’s body.

One must know that the body now contained the power of the Demon Emperor, aning the Nine-headed Insect’s strength had already reached a suprely high realm.

Thinking of this, the Demon Master made a decisive move, attacking the Nine-headed Insect. A light flashed in his hand, and in a blink, a bloody mark appeared on the neck of the Nine-headed Insect.

"Haha!" What followed was the Nine-headed Insect’s insane laughter, filled with grudges and hatred.

"Old man, it’s too late, this body is no longer yours to kill. I can feel a seemingly endless power," the Nine-headed Insect said, looking down at his body with a satisfied smile.

But soon he beca serious again, and said in a deep voice, "This is the enemy of all living beings, it must not be spared."

The Demon Master sighed in relief upon hearing this. The Demon Emperor’s consciousness had not been entirely corrupted. This was good; there was still a chance. As the Demon Emperor said, the Nine-headed Insect was now the enemy of all living beings. If it were released, it would harm the common people, and then the karma would fall on their own heads.

It’s possible that from then on, Heaven and Earth would abhor the Demon Clan, a fate far more terrifying than being besieged by the Heavenly Court.

Looking at the Nine-headed Insect, the Demon Master clenched his teeth and finally said, "Your Majesty, if I may be so bold."
