Fortunately, everything was still under control; this level of power couldn’t destroy the Treasure Ship.

After all, each Treasure Ship was a testant to the Heavenly Court’s cutting-edge technology, and in that mont, he even wanted to tell the Demon Emperor, "My lord, tis have changed."

All the Treasure Ships had their cannons ready, though swaying precariously, they were still intact.

Seeing this scene, Yin Qi breathed a sigh of relief and said with a smile, "It’s my turn."

With a light wave of his hand, countless muzzles suddenly appeared from within the Treasure Ships, all aid at one target—the Demon Emperor floating in the sky in his blue attire.

A terrifying aura began to gather at the muzzles as the spiritual energy between Heaven and Earth instantaneously descended into chaos.

The Green Flood Dragon and Black Robe exchanged a shocked look at the threatening sight of these cannons, sensing the formidable power they contained, and they glanced at each other with a hint of fear.

Only then did they realize they had underestimated the Heavenly Court; after such extensive developnt, the present Heavenly Court had beco a true leviathan, no longer the entity that the Demon Court could match.

As they were stunned, thousands of cannons fired simultaneously.

The fearso shockwave imdiately changed the very complexion of Heaven and Earth, whipping up tempestuous waves that swept in every direction, stirring up a terrifying windstorm over Luzhou in the North.

Countless monsters turned their gaze toward this force, so terrifying that it could move mountains and seas, enough to destroy the world.

At this mont, the power of the Heavenly Court was beyond question; many with malicious intentions were taken aback as the Heavenly Court once again demonstrated its dominance over the Three Realms. Now, there were probably only a few who could withstand such a fearso barrage within the Three Realms.

When the cannon fire cleared, the figure of the Demon Emperor appeared, sohow having survived such fearso power.

However, he no longer carried his previous composure; his ceremonial dress was tattered and even the mask on his face was cracked at the corner, revealing fair skin, regrettably still not revealing his gender.

"Remarkable, to think that after so many years, such a terrifying invention would appear in the world. One must never underestimate the talents of this world!" the Demon Emperor sighed softly.

A rare seriousness entered his voice.

And at that mont, a new light began to emanate from the dark cannon barrels, and the terrifying power gathered once more.

"Can this thing really be used consecutively?" exclaid the Green Flood Dragon in shock.

One should know that such a terrifying power, aside from the few at the very top of the Three Realms, could not be deployed a second ti in short succession; after all, great power always ca with a price.

Yet, these cannons seed to have an endless supply; so shortly after being used once, they were ready to fire again.

Even the Demon Emperor himself wore an expression of disbelief—such a rate of recovery was impossible.

Only Yin Qi seed undisturbed, as if everything were under his control.

What no one knew was that every ti Yin Qi looked at the cannon barrels, now dimming with runes, his heart ached.

The cannons were useful, but their consumption was alarmingly high; one use had already inflicted a fifth of the damage, aning just four more attacks of this magnitude would render the cannons completely useless.

To forge a cannon of this caliber required an incalculable amount of resources, and it was devastating to lose them like this; if not for the opposition being an incarnation of the Demon Emperor, he would be loath to deploy his prized assets.

"But I’ve heard that the Heavenly Forge Bureau will soon have new model cannons available; hopefully, with lower maintenance costs," he thought.

Of course, his face remained calm and composed—as if he would ever reveal such a weakness to his enemy.

With a casual wave of his hand, another round of thousands of cannons fired in unison.

This ti, the Demon Emperor dared not take any chances. Suddenly, a large amount of water appeared around him, endowed with a mysterious force that swirled around the Demon Emperor, setting him upon a pedestal like a king beneath the waves.

The myriad cannon shots poured down upon the shield of water, but, inexplicably, caused no more than montary ripples before returning to stillness.

Yet, the relentless barrage eventually led to a breakthrough; after withstanding the relentless cannon fire for only a short duration, the water screen shattered, revealing the true form of the Demon Emperor within.

The deafening explosion was inescapable; this ti, the Demon Emperor had nowhere to hide.

Suddenly, countless tiny water droplets appeared around him, their dense presence chilling to observe.

With a light gesture from the Demon Emperor, the droplets surged with boundless energy, each one shooting towards the cannon fire at a velocity too swift for the naked eye to catch.

The sky filled with explosions as the Demon Emperor erged from the epicenter, charging straight towards the Treasure Ship—this ti he was on the offensive.

"Retreat, the Demon Emperor is coming!" At that mont, Yin Qi cast aside his hubris, swiftly ordering the fleet to withdraw.

At the sa ti, he directed the cannons to aim once more at the Demon Emperor soaring through the sky.

Thousands of cannons fired, this ti the Demon Emperor couldn’t escape fate.

But when the cannon fire hit, the Demon Emperor’s figure slowly faded before everyone’s eyes, leaving no trace of joy on their faces.

Because it wasn’t the Demon Emperor’s incarnation that had been struck; what the cannons had hit was just an illusion of the Demon Emperor.

"Damn it!" Yin Qi bellowed, realizing that sothing was wrong.

With the Demon Emperor’s figure vanished, where could his true body be? Instinctively, Yin Qi looked down to see the lake, which, due to the cannon fire, was tumultuous, when suddenly a figure erged.

It was the Demon Emperor, now holding a short sword in hand. The blade was narrow, gleaming with a blue radiance.
