"Was it you who saved ?" Little Feng asked with so curiosity.
Lin Fang nodded, "In the pri of your life, dying like that would have been such a waste."
Upon hearing this, Little Feng struggled to stand up to thank Lin Fang, but he felt pain all over his body and couldn’t manage to rise.
"You were hit by that person’s spell, and your body was invaded by wronged spirits. It’s fortunate that you managed to keep your life," Lin Fang said softly.
"Now your foundation has been damaged; you will not be able to move for a while."
Upon hearing this, Little Feng’s heart sank into despair. He had a great vendetta yet unsettled, and now he was reduced to a cripple.
Looking at Lin Fang, he gave a bitter smile, "Being able to keep my life is already an enormous blessing; I have nothing more to yearn for."
Despite his words, the desolation in his speech was unmistakably apparent.
Just then, Lin Fangqing’s clear voice ca again: "Actually, your situation is not entirely without a solution."
Hearing this, hope sparked in Little Feng’s despair as he looked up intently at Lin Fang, "I hope the senior can enlighten ; I would be eternally grateful."
"Do you know of the Bloodline Awakening?"
Little Feng thought for a mont, "Is it the legendary potential for further awakening that every mber of the Demon Clan may possess?"
He had heard from his father in his younger years that the origin of the bloodline within the Demon Clan was incredibly powerful beings. Their strength, hidden within each mber of the Demon Clan’s bloodline, had endured through countless years.
So monsters, when given the right opportunities and under life-threatening pressure, are fortunate enough to unearth these hidden powers within their bloodlines, significantly enhancing their capabilities and even altering their race.
Because after a Bloodline Awakening, the monster gradually becos closer to the source of their bloodline, therefore displaying characteristics different from their race.
"Correct. When the bloodline awakens, it rebuilds the foundation and is capable of tapping into the latent potential within the body, thereby naturally compensating for your damaged foundation," Lin Fang nodded and said.
However, no joy appeared on Little Feng’s face, aware that the Bloodline Awakening was a chance encounter not easily sought. Across the Three Realms, countless mbers of the Demon Clan yearned for such an awakening, but few succeeded.
Given his current state, for him to awaken his bloodline seed nothing short of a fantasy.
Yet, seeing the youth’s desolation, Lin Fang added, "If you are willing, there is soone who might help you awaken your bloodline, but success is not guaranteed and there is also the risk of life and death. Are you willing?"
If it had been soone else speaking, Little Feng would naturally have scoffed, but Lin Fang had saved him, proving his exceptional strength; his words held credibility.
So, he struggled to kneel on the ground, "I ask for the senior’s assistance."
Lin Fang, however, smiled, "The one who can help you is not ."
Before Little Feng could react, he summoned the Glazed Pagoda and took him inside.
Little Feng felt the world spinning around him, and upon focusing, realized he had arrived at an unfamiliar place.
He found himself in a large courtyard surrounded by green brick and red tiles, with carved beams and painted buildings, and from ti to ti, beautiful monsters moved gracefully through it.
Each monster was gorgeously dressed and curvaceous, causing the young man, who had never seen such a scene, to blush.
His awkward behavior naturally incited the group of Butterfly Demons to giggle incessantly; after moving into the magical space, these Female Demons no longer had to endure a precarious existence.
Lin Fang and the others were also kind-hearted. Although they entered the manor to serve as maids out of gratitude, in reality, they had little to do on a day-to-day basis.
Gradually, this also allowed them to reveal their inherently carefree and cheerful natures.
"What are you young girls laughing at? Have you never seen a handso young man before? Now go about your duties without assuming that kindness ans you can overstep your bounds," a mature-looking woman chided.
She herself was the Clan Leader of the Butterfly Demons, having led these children through their toughest years, thus her prestige was quite high. Out of gratitude for Lin Fang’s hospitality, she had volunteered to be a maid, and all the servants in the manor were under her supervision.
Hearing the Clan Leader’s rebuke, the young Butterfly Demons stuck out their tongues one by one and then left the area.
Only then did the woman turn to Little Feng and say, "Young man, I’ve never seen you around here before. Who are you and where do you co from?"
Perhaps it was the woman’s strong maternal glow that involuntarily made him think of his mother, who had passed away many years ago; a tear unconsciously streaked down the young man’s face as he said, "I am Little Feng, from Luzhou in the North. I ca here because a senior ntioned that there might be soone here who could help ."
Hearing this, the woman hazarded a guess and said with a smile, "In that case, you must be the individual whom the great one ntioned. Co, let take you to et Lord White Dragon."
Having said this, she led Little Feng deeper inside.
Little Feng, enduring his pain, followed closely behind the woman, not daring to look around.
Seeing him in such a pitiable state, the woman turned around and said, "I see your body is broken and your foundation greatly damaged; you must have been afflicted by so malicious spell. I have here so honey produced by the spiritual bees raised by our superior. It can restore your foundation. Try so, and it might ease so of your discomfort."
Saying this, she pulled out a small jar of honey. Little Feng repeatedly declined, but the woman pressed it into his hands, saying, "Take it. I felt a sense of joy when I first saw you. This must be fate. Eat this, and it may alleviate so of your suffering."
Little Feng then accepted the honey, gently opened the lid, and a fragrant aroma assailed his senses.
Just by slling it, he felt a tingling sensation throughout his body, as if he was healing. A look of amazent flashed in his eyes; the honey was too effective.
The woman quietly explained, "This honey, known as Spirit Honey, was obtained by Lord Lin Fang from the hands of a Demon King. It can replenish the foundation. Since it ca into our tribe’s care, we have been diligently tending to it. The flowers it harvests from are carefully selected spirit flowers, making the honey’s effects particularly remarkable."
Little Feng swallowed the honey, and imdiately, a warm current spread throughout his body, significantly reducing his pain.
A surprised look appeared on his face, and he thanked the woman politely.
"This item isn’t particularly precious to us, so you need not feel embarrassed about it."
As the two conversed, the woman led Little Feng to the residence of the White Dragon.
It was a pavilion built upon the lake, surrounded by blooming lotuses, with golden carps slowly swimming through the lake waters.
"We’ve arrived!" the woman said softly.
"Lord White Dragon!"
The pavilion doors slowly opened, and a handso man walked out. He wore white, went barefoot, and had a pair of very attractive, crystal-clear dragon horns on his head.
Although his aura was restrained, Little Feng still couldn’t help but tremble at the sight of him. It was a fear that originated from his bloodline.
