Watching You Lan’s astonished gaze, Lin Fang looked himself over and then noticed sothing amiss.
Unknown to him, a small green sprig had inexplicably appeared on his body, vibrant and cute, as if it were stuck to him.
Lin Fang plucked it gently with his hand, and the sprig ca off.
A vigorous vitality faced him, seeming to contain endless Dao Intent. With just one look, Lin Fang knew this was a rare treasure in the world, for it was a sprig from the Great Chun King.
"This is!" The elder who had hurried over also saw the sprig in Lin Fang’s hand, his face showing disbelief.
Having served the Great Chun King for many years, he naturally recognized the origin of the sprig. He was astonished that for countless years, no one had ever obtained a sprig from the Great Chun King.
He scrutinized Lin Fang up and down, wondering what was so special about this young monster that the Great Chun King would willingly give him such a precious thing.
"Fellow Taoist, you must keep this object safe. If others learn that you have acquired this, many might harbor ill intentions," the old man hurriedly warned.
Lin Fang thanked the old man for his caution and solemnly stored the sprig inside the Pagoda.
Just at that mont, his mind seed to fill with new images.
It was an exceptionally clear day, and a towering tree was fully stretching its branches and leaves, absorbing the Spiritual Energy of Heaven and Earth along with the essence of the sun and moon.
Countless birds and small animals frolicked around it, and many Tree Demon Spirits shuttled back and forth on the branches, occasionally letting out bell-like laughter.
On such a peaceful day, an old man riding a Green Ox slowly approached, surrounded by a vast purple aura.
The rich purple aura seed to dye the whole world purple, causing all the plants and animals it touched to start growing wildly.
Many small animals thus greatly opened their Spiritual Wisdom and embarked on the path of cultivating into monsters.
They all prostrated on the ground, thanking the old man for bringing them this precious opportunity.
The old man chanted, "The Dao that can be told is not the eternal Dao; the na that can be nad is not the eternal na. The naless is the beginning of Heaven and Earth; the nad is the mother of all things. Thus, always without desire we see its essence; always with desire we see its manifestation. These two are the sa but diverge in na as they issue forth. Both are considered mysterious. Mystery upon mystery—the gateway to the manifold secrets."
It was the first Chapter of the Tao Te Ching, which Lin Fang had heard about in his past life.
However, in this world, the Tao Te Ching was clearly more than just a classic text.
The great Dao is utmost simplicity; these brief phrases enfold the Great Dao of Heaven and Earth, for it cannot be spoken directly, thus it is conveyed through such cryptic language.
Even so, it was heavenly music in waves, and the earth sprouted Golden Lotuses.
All who heard the Dao sound imdiately fell into enlightennt, including Lin Fang.
At that mont, the Great Dao seed to fully display itself before Lin Fang, allowing him to study and replicate it.
Those Great Dao lines, the laws of Heaven and Earth, surrounded Lin Fang, just within reach whenever he extended his hand.
However, at that mont, Lin Fang was exceptionally clear-headed. He knew such opportunities were rare and not actively sought, and the best approach was to find the most valuable insights to ponder since ti was limited.
Soon, he discovered a particularly obscure law that belonged exclusively to the Great Spatial Way.
Without a second word, Lin Fang grasped onto this law, and imdiately, countless law ssages flooded into his mind. He seed to witness the birth, growth, and destruction of a space.
He didn’t know how much ti had passed when Lin Fang slowly opened his eyes. A fleeting sparkle was in his eyes, and a leaf on the tree before him was gently sliced into two, softly drifting down to the ground.
Lin Fang nodded in satisfaction. Although it was still clumsy, having grasped it was what mattered, and having entered the door, transforming these into his Divine Skills would naturally follow.
"Perhaps I can start trying to devise the Divine Skills of Sleeve Universe by myself," Lin Fang thought to himself.
This ti his gains were truly imnse, not only had he received a rare treasure like the twig of the Great Chun King, but he had also seen the scenes of Taiqing Tianzun imparting his teachings, thus successfully stepping into the Way of Space.
As a cosmic law as renowned as ti, the prowess of the Way of Space lay not only in its formidable offensive power but also in its ability to create Cave Heavens powerful enough to reorder the basic elents of earth, wind, fire, and water, and replay Heaven and Earth.
For Lin Fang, having mastered the Great Spatial Way, there was now a further potential for the space within his Pagoda. After all, as ti went on, the number of people living inside it had grown, and Lin Fang was beginning to feel that the space was becoming sowhat cramped.
Especially after acquiring the Treasure Ship from the Heavenly Court, the cramped space greatly impacted his experience piloting the Treasure Ship.
He could start attending to enlarging the space now that he was returning.
It seed like a long ti had passed to him, but in You Lan and the elder’s eyes, Lin Fang had rely spaced out for a mont while putting away the twig before returning to normal.
Little did they know, in those brief monts, he had seized the greatest opportunity, an opportunity that was t rather than sought.
"Fellow Taoist, since you have gained the recognition of the Great Chun King, you are now a distinguished guest here. Should you face any difficulties in the future, feel free to co to us for assistance, and we will surely provide full support," the elder promised with a smile.
This promise carried significant weight in Luzhou in the North, after all, the Great Chun King was nearly an invincible presence there, and even the Heavenly Court feared him, hence they never disturbed this place, making it a haven for the Demon Clan.
Hearing this, Lin Fang smiled and nodded. With the support of the Great Chun King, whatever he did in Luzhou in the North would be much easier.
However, at that mont, he had no mind to consider these matters, given that the information from the Great Chun King had overwheld him montarily.
Of course, he could also breathe a slight sigh of relief, as, for the mont, his presence didn’t seem to be a bad thing for the top powers of the Three Realms.
With this, his own safety would be greatly enhanced, removing the need to worry incessantly about these top powers targeting him as before.
"By the way, Lin Fang, an old friend here would like to et you," the old man said with a smile.
Lin Fang also smiled and nodded, knowing well who the old man was referring to, as he had already learned from the Great Chun King that the Old Tree Demon he had encountered at Wuzhuang Temple was now in this city.
Under the guidance of the elderly man, Lin Fang slowly approached a small wooden hut where an Old Demon was laboriously working inside.
Upon closer look, one could see he was earnestly carving a puppet. The shelves around the room were filled with pre-carved puppets, all charming and delightful in appearance.
However, Lin Fang sensed an indescribable sadness from them, as these puppets resembled those the Old Demon had once made for his son.
