"It seems I’ll need to find so ti to properly practice, or else I won’t know how to use it when the ti cos."

A group of Demon Kings surrounded the Treasure Ship, continuously comnting and yearning to take the helm. However, upon seeing the control center, they were all at a loss.

"Does anyone here know how to use this thing?" Hu Er asked with a hint of gravity.

They looked at each other, knowing they could fight, but when it ca to technology, they were all completely clueless.

In the end, they could only place their hopes on the White Dragon. The White Dragon stepped forward, grasped the control center, and imdiately felt it was covered in complex runes. He let out a sigh and said, "Forget it, the complexity of this thing is far beyond your imagination. Even I can’t control it. I’m afraid we’ll have to wait for Lin Fang to handle it."

Although his knowledge was vast, it mainly ca from his bloodline inheritance. He lacked profound research in the Way of Runes and was powerless in such a situation.

Therefore, they all decided to head back and wait for Lin Fang to return and discuss what to do next.

anwhile, the battle outside had completely ended. Yin Qi reverted to his true form and, facing the devastation, his expression turned incredibly gloomy.

While it seed he had slain countless enemies, it was in fact a crushing defeat. Those slippery Demon Kings had not been captured, and only nurous little demons had died at his hands.

But what use was that? The Supre up high wouldn’t care about these little demons. Instead, it was he who had inexplicably lost a Treasure Ship—a situation he truly couldn’t explain.

"Dammit!" Yin Qi slamd his chair in anger. This ti he had utterly lost face, and now he had to consider how to save his position.

"Who could it be that managed to crack the control center’s codes so quickly? They must be no ordinary individual but soone with a profound family heritage. How could these monsters lurking in the mountains possess such skills?" Yin Qi pondered to himself.

Recalling the hint of Buddha’s Light when his confidant went missing, a terrifying speculation suddenly erged in his mind.

"Could it be the Buddhist Sect’s covert intervention, appearing in the guise of the Demon Clan, but actually the Sect’s doing?" Yin Qi suddenly stood up from his chair.

The more he thought about it, the more likely it seed to be the real situation, with the Buddhist Sect secretly acting for fear of open conflict, not expecting him to stumble upon their trail.

With this in mind, he felt as if a monuntal conspiracy had unfolded, and they were rely pawns in the grand sche.

"Order the retreat!" Yin Qi said urgently; he had to report this news as soon as possible.

The Heavenly Court’s Naval Forces thus left Luzhou in the North, but unlike usual, this ti they were returning in defeat.

It was a rare victory for Luzhou in the North. On hearing the news, countless Demon Kings beca restless, feeling for the first ti that the heavy mountain pressing down on them had shifted.

For so many years, they had only been oppressed by the Heavenly Court Navy, never experiencing such a victory, and now they had even stolen a Treasure Ship.

The entire Demon Clan of Luzhou in the North began to stir with excitent. This was the light of hope, and as word spread, the reputation of the Black Demon King grew even more formidable—after all, this was the being who had caused a great loss to the Heavenly Court.

After all, the Buddhist Sect had yet to stain this land, and the monsters here bore a different kind of grudge than those in the Xiniu Continent. Naturally, their definition of "strong" was slightly different.

On this land, anyone who dared to challenge the Heavenly Court was considered truly remarkable.

anwhile, the Black Demon King, now regarded by many as the symbol of hope, was speaking to a Mysterious Person with a gloomy face, "You’re really putting on the spot. Why didn’t you consult before taking the Treasure Ship?"

The Mysterious Person, shrouded in a Black Robe, had an indistinct face but a towering figure. Upon hearing the question of the Black Demon King, they couldn’t help but raise their voice, "What? Seize the Treasure Ship, when did this happen?"

The Black Demon King fixed his gaze on this person, and after a long while, he said, "Wouldn’t you know? Besides you, who else in Luzhou in the North possesses such ability?"

"What if I said it wasn’t us who did it, would you believe ?"

With a cold smirk tugging at the corner of his mouth, the Black Demon King said, "What do you think, besides you, who else could there be?"

Suddenly silent, the Mysterious Person took a mont before speaking, "You are also from the Demon Court, so I won’t conceal the truth. If we could take the Treasure Ship for ourselves, we naturally wouldn’t be polite, but the controlling core of the ship is inscrutable, and despite all efforts, our people couldn’t decipher it, much less seize the vessel."

"Tell the details, let think it over."

Seeing this, the Black Demon King then recounted the details of the great battle that had occurred.

"It wasn’t our people who acted, even if we were capable, it couldn’t have been so swift. Let be frank, we indeed have people who have infiltrated the inner workings of the Heavenly Court, and now they have blended into the Heavenly Forge Bureau, but they haven’t been able to access the core information; it’s simply not possible for them to have done this," the Mysterious Person admitted, evidently shocked.

The Mysterious Person was greatly taken aback, for there was an unknown force in Luzhou in the North, and this realization instilled fear in one who vowed to rebuild the Demon Court.

"This won’t do, I must go back and report this matter imdiately," the Mysterious Person said, before hastily departing, with none of the prior nonchalance.

A good while after he had left, the Black Demon King watching his retreating figure, muttered to himself, "Wasn’t he supposed to give advice? Why did he run off so suddenly?"

However, he was not in a rush at the mont, as the Heavenly Court’s retaliation had not yet arrived, and this lull provided him a rare opportunity for peace.

In stark contrast was Yin Qi, who, at that very mont, was kneeling in the Lingxiao Treasured Palace, trembling with trepidation.

The vast hall was empty, its ground obscured by white clouds that felt chillingly cold, but at that mont, Yin Qi was drenched in sweat, with large beads running ceaselessly down his forehead.

Suddenly, an imposing middle-aged man entered, seated himself in the highest chair, and an indescribable sense of majesty perated the entire hall, intensifying the already respectful and trembling Yin Qi.

"Yin Qi, you have greatly disappointed ," the authoritative voice said with a hint of a sigh.

"This subject deserves a thousand deaths, for I failed to et Your Majesty’s expectations. I beg for Your Majesty’s forgiveness."

With a smack, the Jade Emperor struck the table and rebuked, "I entrusted you with the Celestial River Navy to see to it this happened? Not only did you lose the battle, but you also lost the Treasure Ship. If you don’t have an explanation today, you will make your way to the Immortal Slaying Stage."

"Your Majesty, spare my life, please let your humble servant explain the hidden details," Yin Qi pleaded while continually kowtowing on the ground.

"Speak!"

Yin Qi hurriedly recounted what he had seen and heard, along with his own speculations.

"Are you certain there were traces of the Buddhist Sect?" The Jade Emperor asked, with so doubt.

"Reporting to Your Majesty, it is absolutely certain. Although the golden light was fleeting, this servant can conclusively affirm it was Buddha’s Light."
