Lin Fang’s laughter infuriated the voice deep within, and it roared angrily, "What are you laughing at?"

Lin Fang held his belly and said, "I laugh at your ignorance. If Mount Ling were truly in such a state, I wouldn’t need to hide like this."

His words seed to perplex the voice inside.

"Who exactly are you?"

"Haha, you don’t need to worry about that. Although I desire power, you probably can’t satisfy my wish."

As he spoke, the Samadhi True Fire ignited within his heart. The eerie voice encountered the Samadhi True Fire as if it had t its natural enemy, and imdiately a scream echoed.

Turning around, the demon sword in Lin Fang’s hands trembled uncontrollably.

He didn’t recognize the Samadhi True Fire, but he sensed a destructive aura within the flas, a power that was particularly restraining to him. Moreover, since the Samadhi True Fire burns all things, even as a Sword Spirit, it was still scorched by it. This real pain made the Sword Spirit dare not act recklessly or even show itself anymore.

However, Lin Fang carefully caressed the blade, examining the treasured sword closely.

"You, a man who doesn’t use swords, why are you so obsessed with this long sword?" The White Ape placed the girl down on the ground, turned around, and saw Lin Fang playing with the treasured sword.

Based on his understanding of Lin Fang, the power of the sword couldn’t possibly bewitch him, yet he acted this way, so he asked.

"White Ape, you are mistaken!" Lin Fang said as he flipped the treasured sword in his hand.

The White Ape looked at Lin Fang in amazent, his expression nearly spelling out his words.

"I may not understand swords, but don’t forget, I am skilled at Artifact Refining. The origin of this treasured sword is probably extraordinary," Lin Fang said with a smile.

"The Sword Spirit was clearly added later. The essence of the treasured sword should be a treasure born from Heaven and Earth, primary in slaughter, a true instrunt of killing."

"So what if it was? How could the Sword Dao rely on external forces?"

Lin Fang shook his head slightly and said, "As the saying goes: ’Dharma, wealth, and companions are essential in the practice of cultivation.’ Why must you be so critical?"

"My heart is for this sword, and no matter how good this treasured sword is, I do not need it," declared the White Ape decisively, not even glancing at the treasured sword.

One heart, one sword, this was his Sword Dao.

Lin Fang smiled, knowing that everyone should follow the path most suited to them, so he never forced the White Ape to share his views.

When Bai Su awoke from her coma, the first thing she saw was the large hole in the roof of the dilapidated temple, where brilliant sunlight shone through, falling on her.

It was then she recalled her recent devastating defeat. Ever since she obtained the treasured sword, she had never been defeated.

Therefore, even though she knew the sword was continuously corrupting her heart, she couldn’t bear to discard it but chose to co to this place to use the temple’s power to suppress the demon sword’s raging power.

She could no longer rember how long it had been since she last stepped out of this small temple. Initially, small animals or monsters used to co here, but as ti passed, they no longer appeared.

Bai Su knew it was because the Sword Qi she continuously emitted had scared them away.

Yet today, even though she had exerted all her strength, even falling into complete madness, she still couldn’t defeat her opponent.

The White Ape, wielding a sharp sword, was like an immovable mountain; no matter how hard she tried, failure was the only outco.

Everything seed like a dream.

"Ah, she’s awake!" a voice startled her from her ponderings on life, and only then did she turn her head to see Lin Fang, who was interestedly examining the Treasured Sword in his hand, and the White Ape, who wore an indifferent expression.

"So, it wasn’t a dream," Bai Su sighed softly.

She had indeed experienced a crushing defeat, and if her opponent had not shown rcy, she would have been a corpse by now.

"Why didn’t you kill ?" she asked, puzzled.

"Do you so wish to die?"

"Defeat is a disgrace to a swordsman!" the woman suddenly beca a bit agitated.

Lin Fang was taken aback by her willpower; it was no wonder she dared to practice the Sword Dao.

"You no longer have the courage to face defeat?" the White Ape suddenly asked.

"If that’s truly the case, then you don’t deserve to wield a sword. I’ll send you on your way right now," the White Ape declared coldly, killing intent plain as he headed straight toward Bai Su, seemingly about to kill her.

Bai Su looked at the White Ape approaching slowly, her eyes filled with an unwillingness to accept defeat.

Even though the aura of the White Ape was as deep as an abyss, and his killing intent as chilling as the wind of a harsh winter, Bai Su still did not bow her head; she kept her head held high, looking at him.

"Since you have this resolution, you should recognize your shortcomings and ensure you do not fail again," the killing intent of the White Ape suddenly dispersed, and he spoke in a more amiable tone.

Seeing this, Bai Su was montarily stunned before enlightennt struck. She kneeled on the ground and shouted loudly, "Master!"

A trace of a smile finally appeared on the White Ape’s eternally icy face as he looked down at Bai Su, who was kneeling before him, "Have you truly decided to acknowledge as your master?"

Bai Su nodded, her eyes full of determination.

"Let’s go inside; I’m going to hold the apprentice acceptance ceremony tonight," the White Ape said, turning to Lin Fang.

"Ah!" Lin Fang, who was still studying the Treasured Sword in his hand, was suddenly stunned by these words, amazed at how quickly they were establishing the master-apprentice connection.

However, at this ti, he wouldn’t disrespect the White Ape. With a thought, he and Bai Su entered the Magical Treasure, standing in front of the majestic gate.

"Where is this?" Bai Su looked around, feeling like everything in front of her was like a dream. She never expected the sowhat frivolous man to be so powerful.

To have been pulled here without any resistance, she had never heard of such a tactic of shifting heavens and earth before.

"Co, let’s enter," the White Ape said softly, leading Bai Su slowly into the yard.

Upon entering, they were greeted by a massive Peach tree, with blossoms covering every branch and a rich fragrance filling the air; just a light sniff made Bai Su feel refreshed and intensely curious about what kind of divine entity the Peach tree was to have such an effect.

Beneath the Peach tree was a pond filled with lotus flowers, and nurous carp swam slowly in the water. These carp had a slight Demon Qi, but bizarrely, they had not developed Spiritual Wisdom.

"You’re back, and who is this?" a very cheerful voice ca.

Bai Su turned her head and saw a man in plain clothes, barefoot, walking toward them. What caught the eye most were the crystal clear horns on his head, which by all accounts looked like those of a True Dragon.

"My newly accepted disciple!" the White Ape said softly.
