He could only choose to maintain a defensive position. Since joining the Buddhist Sect, he had always had it easy, never feeling so stifled before.

He had always been the one attacking others, never driven to such extres.

Feeling irritated, he furiously punched the stone wall. The imnse force shattered rocks, scattering them into the cliff below and striking a little monster on the head with a dull thud.

"Who’s there?" Garlan imdiately sensed sothing was amiss. He shouted loudly and his figure flashed.

"Boom!" The Tiger King’s attack followed swiftly, his iron fist creating a large crater in the ground, kicking up dust.

If Garlan hadn’t sensed sothing was wrong and dodged in advance, that hit would have been sufficient to splatter his brain.

Looking at the fierce-faced Tiger King, Garlan gritted his teeth and said, "It’s you again, you monster!"

Over this period, the two had beco familiar foes. In Garlan’s eyes, this brutal monster had grown significantly in a short ti, transforming from a brave but reckless Demon King into an extrely challenging adversary.

The Tiger King grinned, revealing his sharp fangs which glead coldly under the moonlight.

He gently touched the scar on his face and said, "I’ve kept this scar you gave ."

"Hmph, that scar suits you well." Garlan scoffed coldly, regretting not having killed this creature when he had the chance.

"Is that so? I’d like to leave sothing on your face too," the Tiger King said with a grin, a chilling light flashing in his eyes.

An imnse battle was about to erupt. Their figures flashed across the sky with a loud boom echoing as the Tiger King’s claws hovered over Garlan’s head.

However, Garlan, not an average Dharma Protector, ford a hand seal, and a golden lion appeared beside him, roaring towards the sky.

The Tiger King, seeing this, curled his lip in disdain and increased the strength of his palm, actually pinning the golden lion to the ground.

The fierce tiger and the majestic lion confronted each other, a clash of strength against strength, but what is fake is ultimately just fake, and even a powerful lion is no match for the Tiger King.

After a few rounds, the Tiger King shouted loudly, and with sheer force, he lifted the lion into the air, tearing it in two.

The mighty golden lion turned into points of light that scattered across the land as the Tiger King roared skyward, his aura soaring through the clouds.

Garlan’s face turned ashen as he looked at the Tiger King, who had grown so rapidly, now possessing such formidable power.

He dared not take any chances, his entire body surging with mana, transforming into the figure of the Buddha, exuding an imposing presence, intending to overpower with force.

A massive Buddha’s Palm descended from the sky toward the Tiger King’s head, like Mount Tai pressing down. Any ordinary monster would have been terrified just seeing this scene.

But the Tiger King was no ordinary monster. A true Demon King, hardened by fire and blood, he had faced countless life-and-death situations in this short ti.

The Tiger King roared, his hands pushing against the sky, managing to hold up the Buddha’s Palm. The enormous force tore his clothes apart instantly, a powerful gust sweeping around, whipping up dust.

The noise reached the dense forest below, startling countless birds into flight.

Tiger King’s muscles trembled uncontrollably, and his entire body seed to have shrunk a few inches, his feet, unbeknownst to him, sinking into the soil.

However, his will was not crushed, continuing to resist the terrible pressure with all his strength.

At that mont, Tiger King, with eyes blood-red, roared and actually raised Buddha’s Palm, then his claws transford into countless phantoms in the sky, continuously attacking Buddha’s Palm.

The sharp claws flashed a cold light in the air, forming a continuous arc, almost like a downsized bright moon.

"Ah!"

By then, Tiger King had fought to the point of madness, feeling as though his body was about to ignite, seemingly possessing inexhaustible strength throughout his body.

"Huh! It seems like a bloodline awakening!" White Dragon’s voice echoed in Lin Fang’s ears.

"Bloodline Awakening?" Lin Fang asked curiously, since he was still new and unfamiliar with many things.

"Only monsters with ancient demon clan bloodlines can experience this phenonon, sublimating their own bloodline under extre pressure, thereby coming closer to their ancestors and gaining greater strength," White Dragon said faintly.

Lin Fang, upon hearing this, looked at Tiger King below in amazent. Through his Primordial Spirit, he indeed saw Tiger King’s blood energy churning, appearing to undergo miraculous changes.

His face gradually developed blood-red patterns, his body also seed to enlarge significantly, and a unique montum erged from him, as if seeing mountains of corpses and seas of blood in him.

"Can you tell which bloodline it is?"

"How can you tell? Keep in mind that the demon clan in ancient tis were incredibly diverse, with many branches within the sa race. Who can rember all that?" White Dragon said, curling his lips.

While the two conversed, Tiger King had already completely shattered Buddha’s Palm. Garlan revealed himself, unable to help but spitting out a mouthful of fresh blood, staring at Tiger King in disbelief.

He couldn’t understand why the monster before him had suddenly beco so strong; he was very clear about the strength of Buddha’s phantom, which should have been impossible for Tiger King to break through.

"How is this possible?" He muttered in disbelief.

"Amitabha Buddha, Venerable Temple Guardian, please step back, he has now awakened his bloodline and is no longer an ordinary monster," a compassionate voice sounded from behind, as a monk with a face full of compassion appeared behind him.

"Bloodline Awakening?" Garlan exclaid in surprise, wondering why he had never heard of such a thing.

"I also learned about it by chance from Buddha. It is the ultimate sublimation of the demon race’s bloodline between life and death, and only a very few monsters have the chance to awaken their bloodline. It is unexpected to witness one here,"

The Long-Eyebrowed Arhat moved at a steady pace, hands clasped together, eyes slightly closed, his body showing not a hint of montum, as if an old monk withering away, slowly approaching Tiger King.

However, this monk appeared as a tall, impressive mountain in the eyes of Tiger King — awe-inspiring, knowing that the person approaching likely held a significant position within the Buddhist Sect.

Clenching his fists, Tiger King felt a surge of fighting spirit welling up in his heart; his blood felt like it was burning, with white steam appearing on his body, making the suddenly erged blood-red patterns even more vivid.

"Amitabha Buddha, the sea of suffering is boundless, turn back to the shore!" Long-Eyebrowed Arhat whispered, his voice carrying a strange power that rippled around, floating into Tiger King’s ears and unexpectedly causing his mind to waver, as if a bucket of cold water had been poured over his surging will to fight.
