Beichuan Si felt that Master Onodera wasn’t very formidable because he had compared the benevolence emanating from the other’s person to the deathly aura surrounding himself.

The result was clear, the benevolence wrapping around Master Onodera was at best roughly equal to that of Master Yutian. With a surge of his death energy, Beichuan Si could essentially snuff out the other’s benevolence.

However, considering that Master Onodera and Master Yutian had spiritual tools and spells at their disposal, combat power couldn’t be judged solely on the quantity of benevolence.

As Beichuan Si pondered, Master Yutian managed to calm his voice:

"Actually, Master Onodera need not be concerned, even though Beichuan Master is entwined with an ominous aura of death, the fact that he has lived safely to this day also serves to illustrate Beichuan Master’s abilities."

Master Yutian’s words truly made sense.

Master Onodera nodded, and his shocked expression gradually eased.

If Beichuan Si didn’t possess so special thod, how else would he have survived amid such an intense deathly aura?

"I apologize, Beichuan Master, I was out of line just now."

Master Onodera stepped forward, extending a hand to shake with Beichuan Si.

It was just a simple handshake, releasing imdiately as though he was afraid the ominous aura of death from Beichuan Si’s body might contaminate him.

Facing Master Onodera’s reaction, Beichuan Si remained unflappably serene, simply responding, "It is a pleasure to et you."

After that, he took his seat beside Master Yutian, pouring himself a cup of tea without a care.

To be honest, Beichuan Si was quite disappointed.

After all, Master Onodera seed just like any ordinary monk, yet seeing him, one would reveal such a shocked expression, simply unable to stabilize their own emotions.

Such a person, lacking composure, seed sowhat unreliable when it ca to exorcising vengeful spirits.

Taking the ntal aspect into account, Beichuan Si naturally concluded that he was indeed stronger than his counterpart.

But he also felt that he shouldn’t overestimate his abilities.

So he added a clause to the conclusion that ’he was stronger than Master Onodera’—

The final developed conclusion was quite straightforward.

’I am just a little bit stronger than Master Onodera.’

This ’little bit’ was a variable, depending on Master Onodera’s performance thereafter.

After Beichuan Si had taken his seat and finished his tea, Master Onodera also turned his head and looked directly at Master Yutian:

"Now that Beichuan Master has arrived, the only one left is the miko invited by the Four Directions Family, right?"

"Mhm." Master Yutian murmured, then pondered, "Looking at the ti, she should be arriving soon."

It was already six o’clock in the evening, and Master Yutian had sent out the notice to gather an hour ago; a full hour of preparation ti should have been sufficient.

But continuing to sit idly wasn’t ideal, especially since Master Yutian and Master Onodera in front of him were not particularly acquainted, and Beichuan Si on the other hand was not the talkative type.

With this thought, Master Yutian reached for his phone:

"I’ll make a call to inquire."

Just as Master Yutian’s words fell, Beichuan Si, who was sitting quietly to the side, seed to sense sothing and looked towards the sliding paper door.

Footsteps ca from outside.

Along with the crisp sound of a door opening, a tall young woman dressed in miko attire appeared before Beichuan Si and Master Yutian.

"Is this...?" Master Yutian’s eyes widened, his expression changing subtly.

It wasn’t because the miko entering was extraordinarily beautiful, but because her attire, compared to the typical red and white miko garnts, was sowhat unorthodox.

The upper half of her body was clad in a white long-sleeved garnt, similar to a standard miko’s outfit without much difference.

If one had to spot the difference, it would probably be the pale yellow phase of the moon patterns on each shoulder of the white garnt she wore.

Moving one’s gaze downwards,

It beca distinctly different from this point forward.

The hakama skirt of the miko attire she was wearing was not a traditional vermilion like standard miko skirts.

Her lower skirt comprised five different colors from left to right: green, yellow, white, vermilion, and blue.

In the center was the moon-white hakama skirt, adorned with a pale yellow, faintly shimring, moon phase.

New Moon, Upper Moon, Full Moon, waning moon, New Moon.

Black, half-yellow, fully yellow, half-yellow, black.

Based on five moon phases, this miko outfit was constructed.

In the miko’s hands, she held a Divine Mirror with reverence.

The surface of the mirror sparkled with a colorful halo, making it impossible to clearly discern what was reflected inside.

Beichuan Si’s expression shifted slightly as he asked in a calm voice:

"Tsukuyomi...?"

Beichuan Si’s question refocused the attention of Masters Onodera and Yutian, as well as attracting the gaze of the miko who had opened the sliding doors.

Truth be told, it wasn’t the miko herself who had pushed open the door.

After all, both her hands were occupied with holding the Divine Mirror, leaving her no hands free to slide open the door.

There were two bodyguards accompanying the miko, and it was these two who had opened the sliding doors of the elegant room.

"May I ask who this gentleman is?" the miko asked curiously, lifting her head with an otherworldly tone to her voice.

Before Beichuan Si could answer, Master Yutian hastily stood and replied, "This is Beichuan Si, Beichuan Master."
