The screams subsided after a mont.

Morioka Youko looked around at the crowd, just about to say sothing in explanation, when the walkie-talkie on the table buzzed again.

This sudden sound threw Morioka Youko into a fluster.

She grabbed the walkie-talkie, and then she heard Beichuan Si’s voice:

"Why did this boy suddenly barge in?"

There was a touch of confusion in his voice.

Beichuan Si hadn’t even had a chance to call Morioka Youko to drag the person away when another boy rushed in from outside.

Hearing Beichuan Si’s confused voice, Morioka Youko’s lips trembled and in a weak voice, she asked, "Is he... all right?"

The sound of the person’s screams as he rushed in had ceased, which was suffocating to think about.

"He’s fine," Beichuan Si answered indifferently.

"That’s good."

Morioka Youko had just heaved a sigh of relief when she heard Beichuan Si say:

"He’s lying at my feet right now. Both have fainted. Co in and give us a hand."

They’ve fainted and it’s still no big deal?!

Morioka Youko gaped.

She even wondered if Beichuan Si had misunderstood the word ’fine’.

But she didn’t dare to back talk Beichuan Si and could only swallow her saliva and agree with a nod.

"By the way, did this person rush in without paying?"

Beichuan Si asked again from the other end.

At a ti like this, you’re still worried about the money, Beichuan Demon King?!

Morioka Youko’s mouth twitched, and it took her a long ti before she managed to say:

"...Yes."

"I collected two hundred yen," Beichuan Si said succinctly.

Morioka Youko’s face stiffened, and after a while, she said:

"...This... doesn’t seem quite right, does it?"

Taking two hundred yen from soone unaware felt sowhat inappropriate to her.

Though it’s only natural for Beichuan Si to collect money, after all, the person had ’burst into the haunted house for a visit’.

"They are our guests, we are the sellers, and since they’ve had a look, we must charge."

Beichuan Si’s tone carried an indisputable authority.

"Okay." Morioka Youko, not one to easily speak up against Beichuan Si, had mustered quite so courage to even ntion that it ’seems a bit inappropriate’.

If you asked her to continue to say sothing to Beichuan Si—

Even if Morioka Youko was a straightforward person, it wasn’t right to bully her like this, was it?

"Excuse for a mont, there are guests in the haunted house who need assistance. If there are any visitors who wish to enter the haunted house, please queue at the counter and wait."

Morioka Youko politely addressed the remaining visitors with an apologetic gesture and then walked into the haunted house.

Under everyone’s watchful eyes, the new victims appeared before them.

The college students, a boy and a girl who had just entered, were now lying neatly on the ground, their facial muscles rigid and twisted.

Just looking at them, it was easy to tell that they had been badly shocked to end up this way.

In such a situation, Morioka Youko called the school’s dical team, helpless once again.

After briefly explaining the situation, the dical team arrived quickly and took the victims to the infirmary.

However.

As the dical team left, they gave the Class 2-A haunted house a sowhat perplexed look.

They probably wondered how a haunted house set up by high school students could scare four people into fainting.

Morioka Youko could sense the dical team teachers’ puzzlent.

But all she could do was offer a sheepish smile, then guiltily turned her head towards the visitors who had already lined up.

If these visitors had previously only co to watch the commotion, this incident had certainly piqued their interest, and so a mid-sized queue ford in front of Class 2-A’s booth.

Morioka Youko felt conflicted.

She had been hoping the haunted house set up by her class would win the favor of these visitors.

But when the scene actually unfolded in front of her, Morioka Youko beca sowhat reluctant.

She was worried.

These visitors seed confident now.

But once they went inside, would they end up being carried out by her...?

Indeed, it complicated her feelings.

But since the queue had ford, there was no way to not welco them.

With that thought, Morioka Youko had no choice but to say:

"Visitors who wish to enter the haunted house, please group up, pay the fee, and proceed in batches... two hundred yen each."

...

On the other side, at Kyubei High School.

"Hmm... This yakitori is not bad. It would be perfect with beer."

Gangye Yoshiko was enjoying her yakitori skewers, then raised her hand and called out, "Excuse , I’ll take two more skewers of yakitori to go, thank you."

After speaking, Gangye Yoshiko also turned her head to look at the stall next to hers.

She had taken the day off specifically to experience the Kyubei Festival at Kyubei High School.

Although she claid it was to experience the Kyubei Festival, Gangye Yoshiko’s main goal was to see Beichuan Si.

Originally, she wasn’t particularly interested in the students’ work, but she couldn’t resist the temptation when she passed by and ended up eating a few skewers of yakitori.

After finding them to her liking, Gangye Yoshiko ordered a few more.

"The Kyubei Festival is surprisingly good."

Gangye Yoshiko took the yakitori, looked at the bustling crowd coming and going, and couldn’t help but murmur a comnt.

Aside from the larger campus and the students seeming more spirited and well-grood than those from other schools, there was nothing much about Kyubei High School that caught her attention.
