Qian Xia Chiyuki did not underestimate Beichuan Si’s words just because she received an email from the Urban Mysterious Tales Office blogger.

After all, compared to the elusive Urban Mysterious Tales blogger, Beichuan Si was soone she could actually interact with.

Since she could interact, she naturally wouldn’t miss the chance.

Considering that the Urban Mysterious Tales Office blogger had scheduled today, she decided to arrange to et Beichuan Si tomorrow.

After planning everything, Qian Xia Chiyuki followed Magong Tong back to the courtyard.

There were still not many people in the courtyard; after all, the weather was very cold outside. The cold wind swept overhead, making everyone feel uncomfortable.

Probably only Beichuan Si would go out for a walk at this ti.

"Is everything okay now?" Beichuan Si, who had been feigning sleep, opened his eyes and glanced at Qian Xia Chiyuki before asking.

"It’s fine for now, I was a bit rude earlier," Qian Xia Chiyuki said with a bow, then continued, "I’m still a bit puzzled though, why did you ask if I had encountered anything strange lately?"

Why ask that?

Beichuan Si looked over with an expressionless face, replying in an extrely calm tone,

"Why did I say that—President Qian Xia, you should have a clue yourself. How about we set a ti to talk in detail?"

Unexpectedly, Beichuan Si was so understanding!

Qian Xia Chiyuki had planned to make the request herself, but Beichuan Si had already uttered the words she wanted to say.

She was about to set a ti when Beichuan Si, after a mont of silence, said,

"No ti like the present, how about this afternoon after school, the location is—"

"This afternoon won’t do!"

Qian Xia Chiyuki instinctively protested, realizing her reaction was sowhat excessive, covered her mouth, and muttered an explanation,

"I have plans with a friend this afternoon, so I can’t agree to et with you, Beichuan. How about we find a ti tomorrow to talk alone, okay?"

Plans with a friend?

Beichuan Si gave Qian Xia Chiyuki a deep look and, after a while, nodded, indicating his agreent.

Seeing Beichuan Si nod, Qian Xia Chiyuki breathed a sigh of relief, bowed again to Beichuan Si, and said,

"Beichuan, that will be all for now. I still have student council business to handle. I’m sorry for disturbing your lunch break."

"It’s just a small matter," Beichuan Si said, standing up from the bench. After another glance at her, he walked back to the teaching building.

anwhile, his voice carried over,

"However, President Qian Xia, it would be best to quickly get rid of whatever is on you."

Qian Xia Chiyuki stood frozen at those words, only regaining her composure after a while.

"I’m sorry, President Qian Xia, the lunch break is nearly over, and I should be heading back," Magong Tong’s weak voice echoed.

"Ah—please go ahead."

Qian Xia Chiyuki instinctively replied.

She was still pondering the aning behind Beichuan Si’s words.

On her...?

Pondering this, Qian Xia Chiyuki instinctively glanced behind her.

Behind her lay emptiness, with only a gust of cold wind howling through.

A paper airplane flew and fluttered, its pale whiteness cruelly chilly.

Shivering instinctively, the young girl let out a breath of white air, her scalp tingling—

The warmth had yet to set in firmly.

....

Afternoon, Kyubei High School.

Once it was dismissal ti, the previously silent Kyubei High School undoubtedly beca much livelier.

So students called friends to join club activities, so went out to sing karaoke or dine together, and others pulled their girlfriends to the small garden for romantic conversations, with so even leveling up to visiting a love hotel being not a difficult task.

The after-school life of Japanese high school students was rich and varied, with their relatively light coursework allowing them to choose a wide range of interests to pursue.

However, Beichuan Si did not belong to any of these categories, so he found himself alone in the large classroom.

Beichuan Si was not bothered and began to organize his thoughts about what he had discovered over the day.

After a day of careful observation, he didn’t find his na on any club rosters, nor did any seniors notify him to join club activities.

It’s worth ntioning that he did see the ranking from the last exam on the bulletin board.

Beichuan Si was ranked one hundred and five.

In a school year with over three hundred students, this ranking was indeed sowhat subtle.

But this was not the ti to care about grades.

After dealing with matters over in Yashan City, he could think about the spring break exams and other campus trivialities.

Besides, it was almost ti.

Beichuan Si checked the ti on his phone, got up from the desk, and headed towards Cure Café.

Cure Café was considered a favorite gathering place for Kyubei High School students.

Not only were the parfaits delicious, but the manager’s blended coffee was exceptional, and the prices were just right for students, making the place hugely popular.

Beichuan Si had heard about this place from Beichuan Huili; he had quietly rembered it.

He wasn’t particularly interested in his sister, but ever since he acquired the system and the troubleso ’attraction to the uncanny’ constitution, Beichuan Si realized that Japan was not as peaceful as it appeared, so he needed to keep an eye on his sister’s usual activities to avoid future regrets if sothing happened.

He quickly left the school and entered Cure Café.

Without a careful look, he already saw the familiar figure wearing a large mask and a baseball cap from afar.

Who else could it be but Qian Xia Chiyuki?

"It really is her," Beichuan Si’s suspicion was confird.

He had already tested Qian Xia Chiyuki during lunch; though he had kept a mind on it without outright revealing it, seeing the sneaky, peeking girl made him shake his head.

She probably feared that the ’Urban Mysterious Tales Office’ blogger was a weirdo, so she prepared herself in advance, covering her pretty face.

After all, it was normal for girls to have so defensive awareness while outside, and Beichuan Si could understand this.

Since he had confird his thoughts, Beichuan Si did not hesitate at the door and walked straight to the seat in front of the girl wearing a mask and a baseball cap.

Huh?!

Qian Xia Chiyuki, who had been looking around for her target, instinctively spoke when soone sat in front of her, "Sorry, this seat is occupied—"

"President Qian Xia."

Huh?!

Upon hearing the familiar tone, Qian Xia Chiyuki blinked her big eyes in confusion. Then she pulled down her mask, stood up in disbelief, and looked at Beichuan Si,

"Beichuan!?"
