Liang Yi was feeling quite peculiar at the mont; this was the first ti he sparred with his junior apprentice sister.

Previously, he only knew that his junior apprentice sister was formidable, a synonym for genius and freakish talent, but if asked to articulate how exactly she was formidable, he could not really say.

But now, after truly engaging in combat, Liang Yi profoundly regretted it, realizing it’s sotis better to know nothing at all.

"Clang!"

The clash of the swords rang out like a tallic roar.

Liang Yi pushed his Immaculate Sword Technique to the limit, deflecting all attacks coming from his junior apprentice sister. Yet, even so, his expression remained grim.

The tide of battle changes in the blink of an eye; he managed to execute his sword technique flawlessly, without a single crack of weakness.

Yet Liang Yi discovered that Su Youyi’s combat instincts were terrifyingly horrifying.

Once she was unable to penetrate his sword defense, she compelled Liang Yi to move, the more he did, the greater the chance he would reveal an opening.

Those pale red eyes, filled with laughter, quietly observed the helpless Liang Yi, her sword technique unceasing, streams of prism-like light flowing from her blade as she tried to find a breach in her senior brother’s swordsmanship within the shortest ti.

Both refrained from using Sword Intent, simply comparing their most basic sword moves.

In his past life, Liang Yi, a gar, spent his days either fighting or on his way to a fight. As a top player, he took on countless commissions from other players and sparred with countless others.

Every high-level player was a master of combat, honing their skill amidst the cycle of life and death.

Though they might be at an attribute disadvantage compared to the natives, when it ca down to raw skill and the nuances of sparring, players could overwhelm seventy to eighty percent of ordinary natives.

After all, once natives die, they’re truly dead, whereas players return to life, ignoring plots and relentlessly embarking on killing sprees.

So in this kind of pure skill comparison, he actually had quite a lot of confidence. He rolled out various PvP moves one after another, forcefully suppressing Su Youyi, who was a whole realm above him.

This left Su Youyi utterly frustrated, feeling that her senior brother was uniquely gifted. This short sparring session with her senior brother had been a revelation, her mind filled with wonder and the recurring thought, "So it can be done this way too."

And her senior brother anticipated every move she intended to make, mounting a targeted response, even though both were well-versed in each other’s techniques, she was still firmly kept under pressure.

In Su Youyi’s eyes, Liang Yi shone even more brightly, not realizing that her senior brother was akin to soone with cheats enabled.

However, as the fight went on, Liang Yi gradually shifted from ease to a solemn countenance.

"Hisss... Is she improving that quickly?" Liang Yi wanted to scratch his head but didn’t even have the ti to lift his hand, completely overwheld by his junior sister’s relentless pursuit.

If you would say his junior sister’s initial level was that of elentary school, she had now abruptly leapt to high school level, even starting to employ and understand so of the minor tricks in the duel.

"Ah, this..."

Liang Yi was sowhat distressed; was his junior apprentice sister too strong?

However, at this mont, Su Youyi, who had been engrossed in learning combat techniques, suddenly cheered up and looked excitedly at the Lovesick sword in her hand.

Liang Yi was briefly stunned, then looked down as well, only to see a faint white scar on the Lovesick Sword emitting a slight glow.

But the glow flashed once and then returned to silence, with no further movent.

"Is it broken?" Liang Yi was sowhat taken aback; could it be that the item given by the elder Wan was a counterfeit product? Shouldn’t there be a bunch of dazzling special effects after it glows?

"I...I’m not sure either..." Su Youyi was also left in a fog by this sequence of actions, as she didn’t feel anything either.

"Don’t stop, keep trying." Zhou Yuqing, who was watching from afar, called out at this mont.

"Alright then." Liang Yi, clueless as to what else to do, could only continue to try.

"Okay!"

Su Youyi nodded in agreent, having the sa idea.

The sparring continued as before, and even though Su Youyi was already at a high school level, Liang Yi had long been at a college graduate standard.

Without using Sword Intent, Liang Yi was still able to spar back and forth with Su Youyi and keep her under pressure.

But the next few strikes from Su Youyi turned the tide, instantly overwhelming Liang Yi.

When Liang Yi, as before, anticipated his junior sister’s next strike, he instinctively chose a Swordsmanship move that was not only a perfect defense but also an opportunity to counterattack. Strangely enough, Su Youyi’s strike, as if ti had reversed, seamlessly transford into a different move that precisely countered Liang Yi’s.

"I anticipated your anticipation, but I didn’t expect to be anticipated in turn?"

Liang Yi, still not understanding what was happening, was baffled by his junior sister’s next strike, as if his consciousness had been severed for a second. While his junior sister was already in the next second, Liang Yi was still stuck in the previous mont.

In gaming terms, this would be called fra skipping. This was a phenonon that only appeared in the ancient tis when players used to rely on a device called a monitor to receive ga images. But ever since virtual net gas ca out, this phenonon had completely disappeared. Yet now, the sudden fra skipping had completely thrown Liang Yi off.

"What is going on here!?" Liang Yi backed off considerably, not wanting to continue sparring with his junior sister. If it had happened only once, he could have explained it as an accident, but occurring twice in a row, it was certain that sothing was wrong.

And until he figured out what that problem was, no matter how many tis they sparred, Liang Yi was bound to lose.

"Was it that scar given by Sect Master Wan?" Liang Yi could only think of this explanation; otherwise, nothing made sense.

"Yes! It was indeed the power of that white scar." Su Youyi, too, was excited; she never imagined that the thing given by Sect Master Wan could be so powerful.

"I realize now that this white scar was imitated from that Law." Zhou Yuqing, having witnessed everything from afar, ca over to them and looked in amazent at the white scar on Su Youyi’s Lovesick Sword.

"The Ti Law?" Su Youyi guessed.

"That’s right!"

Zhou Yuqing nodded affirmatively. If he had not witnessed the power of this white scar with his own eyes, he would not have believed it either.

"Those last two strikes were the ability of the Ti Law?" Liang Yi gasped, thinking his junior sister would now be invincible. This ability to fast-forward a second and rewind a second was just too overpowered, too BUG.

"No, it’s not the Ti Law, but the Law Ability that was imitated." Zhou Yuqing shook his head, correcting Liang Yi’s statent.
