When Liang Yi arrived at the Wind God Comrce eting with the person in charge of this delivery, along with a little fox, he learned that even the Wind God Comrce needs to use the Transmission Arrays of the Immortal Dynasty for long-distance transportation.
Not just the Wind God Comrce, but any force in the world, including Super Forces, would choose the Immortal Dynasty’s Transmission Arrays as the best option for quick and large-scale relocations.
The Immortal Dynasty of Xuanzhou is located in the most central part of the continent, and its territorial area is the largest on the Mystical chanism Continent with the highest population among all forces.
Nearly all Super Forces neighboring it more or less need to make use of the Immortal Dynasty’s Transmission Arrays for their affairs, so the revenue solely from the Transmission Arrays is considerable for the Immortal Dynasty, not to ntion the many other forces that utilize them.
However, once transported from Qingliang to Xunyang City, the Wind God Comrce would switch to their own transport teams for further delivery, which is both convenient and cost-saving.
"So many Azure Dust Elephants." Yue Bai exclaid in surprise as she looked at a group of ten Azure Dust Elephants, about ten tis her height, lazily swinging their large trunks, occasionally exhaling puffs of white air, and chewing on the Spirit Food provided by the Comrce. Each of the elephants had two huge white jade urns hanging on either side of their backs.
The leader of this delivery is a Cultivator of the Fifth Realm, nurtured by the Wind God Comrce. Aside from him, there are also eight Cultivators of the Third and Fourth Realm following and sitting on the backs of other elephants.
"Young Hero Liang has arrived just in ti; we were just about to set off," Qi An said as he was carefully inspecting the goods. On seeing the arrival of Liang Yi and his companion, he greeted them warmly.
"Haha, it’s actually who ca late," Liang Yi apologized with a smile, as it was his habit to arrive before the appointed ti, but this ti, he overlooked an important factor!
Even if it’s just a fox, if it’s a female, she won’t leave the house swiftly!
Thinking about how she will not return to her first ho in life for a long ti to co, the little fox checked inside and outside several tis before leaving until she was satisfied. Almost everything related to her owner and sister Su had been taken with her, which is why Liang Yi arrived just at the right ti.
"It’s alright. Now is just the ti to check the goods, so I’ll ask Young Hero Liang to wait for a mont on the last Azure Dust Elephant in our lineup," Qi An said, not minding in the least. Being on ti was needless to say; even if late, no one would bla Liang Yi for this kind of thing.
After thanking him, Liang Yi led the little fox with a gentle leap onto the back of an Azure Dust Elephant, which did not care about the two humanoid objects now sitting on it.
On the back of the elephant, there was a luxuriously designed saddle made of exquisite materials. Liang Yi and his companion sat on it comfortably, feeling the refreshing scent of wood, which invigorated them.
The Azure Dust Elephant, a Seventh-grade spirit beast, famous for its mild temperant and imnse strength and relatively simple to feed, is mostly used by various rchant guilds or sects for goods transportation.
Yue Bai was excited about this novel experience, sitting in front of Liang Yi and looking around, surprised to see such a high view with her short legs.
"Master, what are these two big jade urns for?" Yue Bai asked curiously, pointing at the sealed white jade urns on either side of the elephant’s back.
"What is stored inside are the goods for this transportation. Due to the small space of low-grade storage rings and the high value and scarcity of larger Storage Rings, we use specially made white jade urns with Array engravings for storing the goods," Liang Yi explained with a smile.
Moreover, because they pursue large capacity, these white jade urns cannot completely eliminate weight like storage rings – they only remove about half or so. Hence, each delivery requires the service of spirit beasts like Azure Dust Elephants with their enormous strength.
With the weight of these white jade urns, a cultivator of the fortieth plus level in Body Cultivation could probably lift one urn, while a Daoist Practitioner who does not practice Body Cultivation thods might be flattened by it.
"So that’s how it is," the little fox nodded, seriously expanding her knowledge.
"Just one of these white jade urns could easily hold several millions of you," Liang Yi teased.
"This must be Young Master Liang Yi, the disciple of the Banished Immortal. I’m He Tianhua, the leader of this mission. Please take good care of us, Young Hero Liang," the middle-aged burly man He Tianhua greeted Liang Yi and his companion in a friendly manner.
He belongs to the Wind God Comrce, and has long harbored admiration for the legendary Banished Immortal of the Cultivation World. Having the chance to et a disciple of the Banished Immortal is a blessing for him, especially since Liang Yi is also a friend of their Young Master, a person he absolutely must not offend.
Therefore, even though he himself is a Fifth Realm cultivator, he and Tianhua treated Liang Yi with utmost courtesy.
"Senior is being too polite. I’m simply taking advantage of Manager Qi’s kindness by hitching a ride this ti. Let’s look out for each other on the road."
Give an inch and I’ll return a yard; with Tianhua’s attitude so gracious, Liang Yi naturally greeted him with a smile. After a brief chat, the relationship between them was established on good terms.
"All set, let’s hit the road!" Qi An clapped his hands, signaling that Tianhua could depart, then waved goodbye to Liang Yi and his companion.
Liang Yi also nodded with a smile in response.
Under Tianhua’s lead, the Azure Dust Elephants shook their trunks, exhaling two streams of white breath before they started to stride forward. Liang Yi and the others followed a specific path to the Transmission Array within Immortal City, and as the last Azure Dust Elephant stepped into the array, the Array was officially activated.
In a flicker of lights and shadows, the vast group of Azure Dust Elephants vanished from sight.
The general guarding the Transmission Array looked at the now empty space, chuckled, and tossed the storage ring sent by the Wind God Comrce, nodding with satisfaction.
On the border of the Immortal Dynasty, in West Capital’s Xunyang City, a group of Azure Dust Elephants erged from the void, trying to tread on the ground as lightly as possible. Yet even so, the guards of the Great Formation were still shaken enough to be montarily lifted off the ground.
Tianhua led the team without much delay in Xunyang City. Their primary mission was to deliver the Cultivation Resources and daily supplies desperately needed by the Demon Clan. Once the urgent tasks were completed, there would be plenty of ti to enjoy themselves later, no rush at the mont.
"Thump! Thump! Thump!"
The rchants of Xunyang City had grown accustod to their own and their goods rhythmically bouncing up and down. Every quarter when the Azure Dust Elephants from the Wind God Comrce arrived, it was the sa commotion, and they had long stopped being surprised by it.
The Wind God Comrce had already notified the City Lord of Xunyang, so their journey out of the city was smooth and unimpeded.
Liang Yi felt sowhat regretful; if it weren’t for urgent matters at hand, he could have t with Jiang Fufeng.
Although the Azure Dust Elephants were massive, their speed was not slow, and the specially made saddles on their backs almost nullified any jolting for Liang Yi and the young fox.
After two days of travel, at dusk, the group finally arrived atop a hillside where the people from the Wind God Comrce branch of Xunyang City were already waiting to rendezvous.
"And Leader, you must be tired," greeted a bearded, robust man with a full-faced smile as he clasped hands towards Tianhua at the edge of the camp.
"There’s nothing tiring about it. It’s been peaceful all the way, not a single surprise; quite boring actually," said Tianhua as he jumped down from the elephant’s back, giving the sturdy man a bear hug.
"Xiang Pengju, is Lei Zhaozhou ready?"
"It’s been ready for a while now, just waiting for you guys."
"That’s good. Let’s move the jade vats then."
Xiang Pengju nodded, leading the Azure Dust Elephants behind Tianhua into the camp, beckoning to the Wind God Comrce staff who had long been waiting, to start the transfer of the jade vats from the elephants’ backs.
