However, when he rembered he still had a seed near his heart, it was like he was falling straight down to the ground, face first.

Hui Shu nodded, although he wasn’t entirely willing to believe it, he held onto a fleeting thought.
If things turned out as Jiang Xuan said, maybe the Rat Tribe really had a chance to reunite and beco strong again?

“Alright, you’ve been here too long. To avoid your tribesn becoming suspicious, I’ll tie you to the tree again later, but the rope will be looser. Once I’m asleep, you can cut the rope yourself and pretend to escape.”
Jiang Xuan acted on his words and directly tied Hui Shu back up, then laid out a beast hide beside the bonfire and lay down to sleep.

Hui Shu quickly navigated through the forest, and upon reaching a certain large rock, he lifted the dense vines on top, revealing a dark earth cave below.

“Yes, I was captured, but I managed to escape.”
“That’s great news, hurry up, everyone’s worried about you.”
Hui Shu heard this and felt no internal stirring, as the Rat Tribe tends to abandon those caught, aside from close ones, no one worries about a failure.
Hui Shu made his way to the area with firelight and saw a big bonfire surrounded by a dozen Rat Tribe mbers.
This particular troop of Hui Shu’s consisted of over two hundred people, but due to the narrow underground caves, they couldn’t all gather in one place. Only a dozen or twenty people could live in one big cave, dispersed underground.
