Dust billowed into the air as Super 18 launched a furious bombardnt at 17, mirroring exactly what he had done to her just monts ago.
However, as the dust settled and the view cleared, 17 erged once again completely unscathed. Just like Super 18, he had activated a defensive barrier to block the attack.
"That technique isn't exclusive to you,"
17 said smugly, the corners of his lips curling up as he stood confidently inside the shield.
With a cold snort, Super 18 didn't waste any words. She raised her hand and fired off several Finger Piercing Waves.
Zzzzzt zzzzzt zzzzzt!!!
"Ahhh—!"
A few of the waves easily pierced through 17's defensive barrier. Screaming in pain, 17 was blasted away and crashed hard into the ground.
Though Finger Piercing Waves weren't as powerful as Ki Bombs or Ki Blasts, their strength lay in focused force and high penetration. Coupled with Super 18's power—which clearly surpassed 17's—breaking through his defense was a simple task.
"Feel free to use whatever tricks you still have."
Standing before 17, Super 18 said coolly.
"Heh… You're strong."
"I'm no match for you. Just knock out of the ring."
Sighing, 17 looked completely resigned.
Realizing the overwhelming difference between them, 17 knew there was no point in struggling any longer. Any further resistance would just be pointless humiliation. Giving up was the smarter option.
"A wise choice."
"In that case, ti for you to go."
Wasting no more words, Super 18 raised her hand and aid at 17.
A dazzling light began to shine from her palm, growing brighter and brighter until—
Boom!!!
"Universe 7 contestant No. 17 has been eliminated."
With a wretched scream, 17 was blasted out of the arena, and the Grand Priest imdiately announced his elimination.
"17-san, are you okay?!"
"Oi, you bastard! You couldn't even beat a woman?!"
As 17 was teleported back to the stands, Krillin rushed over to help him up. But Beerus roared in fury.
Their universe already had few fighters left. Now with 17 out, only Goku, Vegeta, and Frieza remained.
Frieza was being tortured and humiliated like a dog. Goku and Vegeta were both being utterly dominated by their female counterparts, Gokumi and Vegea. Universe 7 was now on the brink of collapse, and Beerus was extrely agitated.
"If I lose, I lose."
17 replied flatly.
He had already done his best. The opponent was simply stronger—what else could he have done?
Beerus was about to lash out again when Whis stopped him.
"Now now, Lord Beerus. No. 17 did his best. Let's not bla him."
"…Tch. Fine, I'll let it go this ti.
"He's out now, so just cheer for the others."
Whis' words carried weight with Beerus. After taking a deep breath and calming down, Beerus didn't pursue the matter further.
But just as peace returned on Beerus' side, another voice jumped in—
"Beerus! Another one of your universe's fighters just got eliminated, huh?"
"Serves you right! Hahahaha!!"
Only that damned fat pig Champa would kick soone when they're down with that kind of smug mockery.
Beerus clenched his fists tightly, veins bulging on his forehead.
What sin had he committed to end up with such a bastard of a brother?!
"So what if we lost one? We still have more fighters than you!"
"Stupid Champa, cry all you want when your universe loses!"
"Hmph! Kefla is the strongest in the multiverse! Even if she's the last one standing, she won't lose!"
"Kefla! Go all out! Knock them all out of the arena!"
"You hear , Kefla?!"
Leaving the bickering brothers in the spectator seats aside, after knocking 17 out of the ring, Super 18 returned to the Pillar of Ti.
"Super 18, that was fast."
Welcoming her back, Yuujin teased lightly.
"Hmph, it was just 17."
With a soft snort, Super 18 wrapped her arm around Yuujin's neck and kissed him.
This was a habit of Super 18's—after every battle, she'd always kiss Yuujin, claiming her well-earned reward.
"All right. You did great. Take a rest here now."
After a long kiss, Yuujin gently caressed Super 18's cheek and spoke.
If they were back ho, Yuujin wouldn't mind doing sothing more intimate with her. But since the Tournant of Power wasn't over yet, this was as far as they could go for now.
With a slight nod, Super 18 stood beside Yuujin. But then, as if rembering sothing, she turned with a teasing smile toward the 18 from Universe 7, who was locked in the energy cage.
"I just knocked your brother out of the ring. Don't you have anything to say?"
"Hmph. He was just useless. What's it got to do with ?"
Turning her head away, Universe 7's 18 replied coldly.
Yuujin couldn't help but chuckle. Just a mont ago, she had been visibly worried when 17 was eliminated, but now she was pretending to be indifferent.
18 was 18—no matter how cold and aloof she appeared on the outside, she still had a gentle heart inside.
He was growing fonder of her by the minute.
Yes—after all this, he would make her his.
Yuujin thought silently.
Next, Yuujin and Super 18 stood atop the Pillar of Ti, watching the ongoing battles among the other won.
Gokumi and Vegea had taken complete control of their fights. If Goku and Vegeta didn't pull off so sort of coback soon, they wouldn't last much longer.
On Frieza's side, he was still being subjected to all sorts of humiliating and degrading tornt by Sharuru. Even from a distance, you could hear the Emperor's crisp, high-pitched screams.
Buu and Android 21 were still fighting the fusion warrior Aniraza. Without discovering his weakness, defeating Aniraza would still take them so ti.
Lastly, there was the battle between Kefla and Broly—the one Yuujin was watching most intently.
In her fight against Broly, Kefla was growing stronger by the minute. Her control over her power and the aura surrounding her had clearly improved. At that mont, she was launching an overwhelmingly aggressive assault on Broly—
"Annoying bastard! Get out of my way!"
"Haaahhhhh!!!!"
Soaring into the sky, Kefla threw another devastating punch at Broly.
Though he blocked it in ti, the sheer force of Kefla's punch still sent him staggering backward.
Boom boom boom boom! Broly's body crashed through slabs of Thundersteel debris, then slamd into the central Pillar of Ti with a thunderous explosion…
