Unlike other Saiyans, Yuujin didn't have the iconic tail of a Saiyan.
And that was precisely the problem—the tail, while a weakness, was also the source of a Saiyan's power. One of the conditions for transforming into a Super Saiyan 4 was having the original Saiyan tail. But Yuujin simply didn't have one!
If it were like in the original Dragon Ball, where Goku and Vegeta's tails had just been removed, it would've been manageable. Even if they couldn't transform into Great Apes through ordinary Blutz Waves, increasing the intensity of Blutz energy could still forcibly awaken the dormant power within them and induce transformation.
But Yuujin wasn't the sa. His tail hadn't been removed—it had never existed. During his evolution, he had already overco the influence of Blutz Waves. Even if you increased their energy a thousandfold or ten thousandfold and blasted him with it, it would be useless.

Walking over to Bulma and Android 21, Yuujin asked eagerly.
"Why are you in such a rush? We've been running tests on you all day—we're exhausted! Besides, analyzing the data takes ti too," Bulma replied, rolling her eyes.
Feeling a bit awkward, Yuujin realized he was being too impatient. But it wasn't his fault.
This was about whether or not he could grow even stronger—it was a big deal! How could he not be anxious?
Adjusting his mindset, Yuujin sat and patiently waited. After a while longer, Bulma and the others finally finished analyzing the data.
"According to our analysis, the 'Ape Transformation Gene' inside your body hasn't disappeared. If Super Saiyan 4 is real, then you should also be able to achieve it," Bulma said, holding a thick stack of reports.
Yuujin finally breathed a sigh of relief.
Good, good—as long as I can transform into Super Saiyan 4, that's all that matters!
"But how?"
"You've already tested it on before. Even when increasing the intensity of Blutz Waves, it had no effect on my body. So how do I activate the ape gene within and transform into Super Saiyan 4?" Yuujin asked with a frown.
"Indeed," Bulma nodded. "For Gokumi and Vegea, they need both Super Saiyan energy and stimulation from Blutz Waves to activate their ape genes and trigger the transformation."
"But your case is different. According to our tests, your genes have already overco any influence or dependency on Blutz Waves. All it takes is a massive amount of energy to activate them."
"In other words, as long as you keep training and improving your strength, one day you'll also be able to transform into Super Saiyan 4."
Knowing how much Yuujin cared about this, Bulma didn't beat around the bush and told him the conclusion directly.

Yuujin burst into hearty laughter, finally feeling a weight lifted off his chest.
He truly was a perfectly evolved Saiyan—he didn't need a tail or any external stimulation like Blutz Waves. He could reach Super Saiyan 4 purely through his own growth and training!
But then, rembering sothing, Yuujin asked:
"Bulma, have you calculated roughly how much energy I'd need to activate my ape gene and transform into Super Saiyan 4?"
"Based on our calculations, in order to activate the ape gene in your body, you'd need to increase your current power by at least dozens of tis."
"Since there's no other reference, we can only provide a rough estimate. It could be hundreds of tis—or even more."
Bulma's answer made the corners of Yuujin's mouth twitch. He couldn't help but confirm:
"Bulma, does it really require that much energy?"
"Yes, it does." Bulma replied seriously.
Seeing she wasn't joking, Yuujin slapped his forehead and collapsed onto the sofa, montarily speechless.
Increase his current power by dozens—or even hundreds—of tis?
What kind of joke was that?!
If Yuujin's current battle power was just a few dozen points, then even multiplying it thousands or tens of thousands of tis would be nothing worth fussing over.
But he had already ascended to Super Saiyan 3, continuously breaking his own limits again and again. His strength was now unmatched across the universe. Under these circumstances, to increase his power by dozens or hundreds of tis—just thinking about it was exhausting!
Earlier, when he heard he didn't need a tail or Blutz Waves to reach Super Saiyan 4, Yuujin had been ecstatic, proud of his naturally evolved perfect Saiyan body. But now… it felt like a rip-off!
Gokumi and Vegea might not be perfect, and they might rely on Blutz Waves to transform into Super Saiyan 4—but those Blutz Waves were still a shortcut that let them reach the form quickly.
Yuujin may have overco his weaknesses and dependency on external aids, but he also lost out on this shortcut. He didn't even know if he'd gained or lost in the end.
It kind of felt like a loss. According to Bulma and Android 21's analysis, Gokumi and Vegea could attempt the transformation into Super Saiyan 4 at any ti now, while Yuujin still needed to spend ti slowly building his power.
And that ti might be very long—decades, centuries… maybe even longer!
Thinking about all this, Yuujin suddenly felt like his whole being was falling apart.
Noticing Yuujin's gloomy, dejected look, Bulma and 21 exchanged glances, then couldn't help but laugh.
"Alright, alright, we'll stop teasing you. Actually, there is a way to help you transform into Super Saiyan 4 faster."
Bulma's sudden words were like heavenly music. Yuujin's dim eyes lit up instantly.
"What way? Tell , quick!"
