Standing in front of Gotenksia, Yuujin spoke solemnly.
"Dad…"
Gotenksia was sowhat unwilling, but she understood. Even if her strength wasn't inferior to Buu, she couldn't surpass her either.
At the sa ti, Buu in the sky had finished gathering energy. Looking at the suddenly intruding Yuujin, her expression turned ice-cold:
"You want to interfere? If you dare, I'll kill you too!"
"I can't just watch my daughter be killed by you, Buu. From now on, I will be your opponent!"
Taking a combat stance, Yuujin declared.
"In that case, all of you can die together!"
Buu thrust out her hands, preparing to unleash a ki blast toward Yuujin and the others.
However, at that mont—
"That's enough, Buu!"
A voice suddenly rang out from the side—it was Babidi.
"What do you want? Don't bother at a ti like this!"
Buu glared angrily at Babidi. If not for his ability to seal her with magic, she would have already killed this annoying pest.
"Hmph, Buu, your ti is up."
"You've wasted so much ti just dealing with a little girl, and you even got beaten up so miserably. I'm truly disappointed in you!"
Flying in from a distance, Babidi spoke disdainfully.
"I was just about to kill her!"
"You think I'd still trust you? All you do is indulge in food and fun, never properly following my orders."
"That's why I've decided—you're stepping down, and Oobu is coming out."
"I believe Oobu won't disappoint . What you couldn't accomplish, Oobu will surely do for !"
Buu protested in dissatisfaction, but Babidi simply sneered coldly.
This sudden developnt left Yuujin and the others confused. Oobu? Could there really be another being like Buu?
"No! You can't release that one! Sothing terrible will happen!"
Upon hearing Babidi's words, Buu's face showed a rare expression of fear. She even abandoned her attack on Gotenksia and Yuujin.
"Hmph, you're just a re weapon—you have no right to defy your master!"
"If you weren't so useless and disobedient, you wouldn't be in this situation. Now, go back to sleep and hand your body over to Oobu!"
"Babbala… Babbala…"
With a sinister grin, Babidi began chanting an incantation without hesitation.
"No! No! Don't let her out!"
"AAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!"
Buu tried to resist, but her body suddenly stiffened. She then clutched her head and let out a blood-curdling scream.
"Dad, what's going on? What is Babidi trying to do with Buu?"
Completely confused by the situation, Gotenksia looked puzzled.
"I'm not sure."
"But I have a bad feeling about this. Let's move back for now."
"Yes, Dad!"
Sensing sothing was wrong, Yuujin and Gotenksia quickly retreated from the battlefield and regrouped with the others.
"Gotenksia, are you okay? Are you hurt anywhere?"
"I'm fine, Mom."
"Aren't Babidi and Buu on the sa side? What are they doing?"
"No idea. Let's just watch for now."
Even Bulma and the others were confused. Even Yuujin himself didn't know what Babidi was planning or who this "Oobu" was.
All eyes were fixed on the distant sky. Babidi continued his incantation while Buu let out painful screams.
But as ti passed, Buu's screams weakened, and her energy steadily faded. In the end, she stopped making any sound at all, floating lifelessly in the air like a corpse.
"D-Did it work?"
"Hey, Oobu! Oobu, wake up!"
After finishing the incantation, Babidi circled around Buu twice before calling out loudly.
This was his first ti attempting such a thing, and he wasn't sure if his dead old man's incantation would work.
Just then—
The "Buu" in the sky suddenly opened a pair of blood-red eyes.
At the sa ti, an overwhelmingly evil aura erupted from her body, surging at an alarming rate!
"Ahh… AHHHHH!!"
"W-What is this sinister presence?!"
"What's happening?!"
Krillin was so terrified that he collapsed to the ground. Even the battle-hardened Master Roshi turned pale with shock.
"Yuujin, that Buu…"
"She's no longer the sa."
Gokumi seed to realize sothing, and Yuujin nodded grimly.
"Ooooh, as expected of Oobu! Her sheer presence alone already surpasses that useless Buu!"
"Babidi! What did you do to Buu?!"
Yuujin shouted. In the sky, Babidi turned and sneered:
"She is Oobu—the other soul residing in this body."
"When my old man created this weapon, he embedded two souls inside—one was the Buu you knew, and the other was Oobu."
"Buu was just a gluttonous, playful failure. But Oobu is different—she only knows destruction and slaughter! She is the ultimate weapon, the true strongest in the universe!"
"Well? Are you all terrified now? Are you?!"
"Hohohohoho!!!!"
After his explanation, Babidi burst into maniacal laughter.
Even Yuujin was shaken. The Majin Buu of this world was completely different from the one in Dragon Ball. From the very beginning, this being had two souls!
If Buu's presence had felt chaotic yet not entirely evil before, then Oobu's aura was pure, absolute darkness—an overwhelming malevolence that suffocated everyone.
Initially, Babidi never intended to release Oobu. His late father's records clearly warned that Oobu was uncontrollably violent and extrely dangerous. However, Buu's repeated disobedience, combined with her inability to defeat a re girl, infuriated him. This led him to make the drastic decision to awaken Oobu and let her take over Buu's body.
Oobu may lack intelligence compared to Buu, but she was far stronger. With her power, Babidi was confident that his enemies would be annihilated!
