In the sky, two figures cloaked in blazing auras streaked through the air at high speed.
Glancing at the relentless pursuer, Red Silk No. 258, Trunks felt a throbbing headache and had no choice but to accelerate further.
"What?!"
Seeing Trunks pick up speed again, the astonishnt on No. 258's face was palpable.
Who is this kid?
His sheer speed alone outclasses most of the Red Silk Girls. There's no way he's just so ordinary martial artist!
But do you think speed alone can shake off? How naive!
"You won't escape!"
With a cold sneer, No. 258's figure vanished, reappearing directly in front of Trunks with instantaneous movent.
"What?!"
Now it was Trunks' turn to be shocked. He quickly veered off in another direction, but no matter how he maneuvered, the Valkyrie would always block his path.
"What kind of technique is this?"
Realizing he couldn't escape, Trunks reluctantly stopped.
"This is the supre skill granted to us by our master: Instant Transmission," No. 258 declared.
"I've locked onto your energy. Even if you flee to the ends of the earth, it won't do you any good."
To serve as one of No. 18's elite Red Silk Girls, one had to master techniques like the Kahaha, Kaio-ken, and Instant Transmission.
Although No. 258 wasn't as fast as Trunks, with the help of Instant Transmission, she could corner him no matter where on Earth he tried to flee.
"Please, miss, I'm not your enemy. I have urgent matters to attend to—can't you let go?" Trunks pleaded in frustration.
"Save your excuses for after I've captured you!"
Her suspicion of Trunks' identity and actions made it impossible for No. 258 to let him go. She lunged forward, aiming to take him down.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
A flurry of explosions echoed through the air as Trunks defended against her relentless assault.
"Damn it!"
No. 258 grew increasingly frustrated at her inability to subdue him. As a proud mber of the Red Silk Girls, failing to defeat this unknown youth would be an embarrassnt!
With no hesitation, she unleashed the Double Kaio-ken. Her energy surged to twice its previous level as she resud her offensive.
Though her strength still couldn't harm him, Trunks felt uneasy.
What is going on with this world? Were there really such powerful female warriors on Earth 20 years ago?
If this is real, why didn't I hear any legends about them in my tiline?
While blocking No. 258's attacks, Trunks wrestled with his thoughts. But before he could make sense of it, two more blazing figures streaked through the sky toward them.
"No. 258, what's happening?" one of them asked.
"You're just in ti, No. 327 and No. 561!" No. 258 called out.
"This kid is suspicious—help capture him!"
"Understood!"
Without hesitation, the two newcors joined the fight.
But even as the three Valkyries worked together, they couldn't overpower Trunks. Their astonishnt mirrored his.
How could there be three such powerful female warriors? Trunks thought.
Or perhaps... even more?
Sensing additional strong energies approaching, Trunks realized their battle had drawn the attention of others.
"I can't keep tangling with them."
Unsure of what this world was, Trunks knew that if he didn't escape, he'd face greater trouble. Though reluctant to harm them, he had no choice.
"Haaah!!!"
Golden energy erupted around him as he transford into a Super Saiyan.
"What?!"
"Just like our master and Lord Goku!" the Valkyries exclaid in shock. In the next instant, their faces turned pale as they clutched their stomachs and collapsed.
His speed had been too overwhelming—they hadn't even seen him move.
"Sorry, I didn't an to hurt you," Trunks said apologetically.
But with the strong energies closing in, he knew he couldn't stay. He shot into the sky and disappeared in a flash.
"Damn it, you won't escape!"
Though they tried to give chase, the Valkyries' bodies gave out, leaving them immobilized on the ground.
SWOOSH!
In a forest of stone pillars, Trunks landed and quickly suppressed his aura.
"Huff... Huff..."
"What is this world? Why are there so many powerful individuals here?"
"This isn't Earth 20 years ago. Sothing must have gone wrong during the ti travel."
His mother had warned him that ti travel couldn't be perfectly precise, with many uncertainties involved.
With the Valkyries aware of his presence, Trunks decided to leave. This world wasn't the Earth of his past. Such powerful warriors would've left legends, even if destroyed by androids in the future.
Determined, he prepared to retrieve his ti machine.
But then—
"Well, well... So you're the boy who injured my precious Valkyries?"
Startled, Trunks looked up to see a group of four figures—one man and three won—floating above him.
When did they get here? How did I not sense them?!
Even Trunks couldn't hide his shock. But in truth, Yuujin, the man in the group, was equally surprised.
He had sensed a powerful energy and discovered his Valkyries in combat. Bringing Goku and the others, he ca to investigate. To his surprise, it was Trunks.
Yuujin had assud Trunks wouldn't exist in this tiline due to his interference. Yet, here he was!
"I'm sorry. I didn't an to hurt them," Trunks said cautiously, eyeing the group.
"I know. You held back," Yuujin replied.
Goku and Vegeta, standing beside him, spoke up as well:
"Hey, are you a Saiyan too?" Goku asked excitedly.
"They said you can turn into a Super Saiyan like us—is that true?"
"Kid, who are you? I've never seen a Saiyan with purple hair before," Vegeta added suspiciously.
All Saiyans had black hair. Vegeta had never encountered a purple-haired one before, though the energy Trunks displayed unmistakably belonged to a Super Saiyan.
