Lette looked serious as he followed Grandet, bypassing the crowd to a corner at the back of the House of Representatives.

As the stone door opened, light shone into the dim passageway.

"Boss, this is the side door."

"Hmm... Let’s go."

Grandet didn’t know what he possibly said wrong, so he cautiously led the way forward.

But in reality, Lette was not angry with him; he was thinking about whether he had overlooked sothing.

Just as Grandet ntioned, the current Holy Temple was nothing more than a disorganized mob.

But the Holy Temple of the past was an entity that single-handedly resisted the Three Great Sanctuaries and the Pope Palace.

An organization with such a glorious past might have left behind so ans to counterbalance the Church Court.

Perhaps, due to the passage of ti and the severance of heritage, the current mbers of the Holy Temple are unaware of these.

But this also ans that the Church Court might not know either!

Thus, this becos an overlooked blind spot, an unknown area shrouded by the fog of war!

"Tsk, maybe that woman ca to unify the Holy Temple, not for these wavering council mbers, but for the Temple’s unknown heritage!"

"Ah? Boss, what did you say?"

Lette waved his hand and quickly walked past Grandet, entering the main hall.

But at this mont, the hall was already empty.

Those council mbers had long since left, unable to endure the ridicule and the shower of rotten eggs and wilted lettuce.

"Damn it..."

Lette glanced around; indeed, there were many artifacts displayed in the hall.

However, he was not well-versed in this area and could only discern if sothing was useful by sensing the energy fluctuations within it.

After a round, he indeed discovered two or three items containing complex arrays, which were rare magic devices.

This made his worry even more grave.

"Hey! Is anyone still breathing?"

Lette’s voice echoed in the council hall, but unfortunately, there was no response.

"Boss, don’t worry!"

Grandet hurried over, "Our association has several council seats! I’ll call them over right away!"

"Call them over, imdiately! And bring anyone else you know, anyone you can call!"

"Preferably those who are very old and are particularly knowledgeable about everything inside and out of the Holy Temple!"

"Yes, yes, yes!"

Just as Grandet was about to turn and leave through the small door, suddenly a voice ca from the corner.

"Who is it! Making such a commotion, can’t you see... I’m sleeping here?"

The speaker’s voice was slurred, sounding like soone drunk. Following the voice, Lette indeed found a drunkard with a wine bottle, collapsed under a giant bronze statue.

"Is he... also a council mber?"

Grandet ca over and nodded repeatedly, "I know this man, he’s called Idelos, a drunkard.

He often went to our comrcial street’s dining area to drink and dine without paying, later blacklisted by the association.

He is indeed a council mber, but... he doesn’t quite fit in with those guys.

It’s said that he never accepted the gifts we sent."

Lette raised an eyebrow, "Preferring to dine without paying but not accepting gifts, what kind of logic is that?"

"Who! Who said I dined without paying? Hic?"

Idelos was rather indignant, "I paid with my poetry! Just those ignorant shopkeepers failed to recognize its value!"

Lette looked at Grandet, "Poetry?"

"Yes, Holy Temple council mbers are supposed to be elites from all walks of life. Although they’ve declined, there are still so capable ones.

Especially so artists, who still have so real skills.

This guy, despite being a drunkard, seems to be a first-class minstrel."

"What first-class! I’m top-class!"

The drunkard struggled to sit up, spreading his arms, reeking of alcohol.

"I! Am a free-flying eagle in the sky! I want the blue sky and white clouds! To hear my loud and sonorous eagle’s cry!"

Lette suddenly drew his Sin Light, slicing diagonally at the person’s neck.

The sword edge cut directly into the base of the bronze statue behind Idelos, precisely stopping less than half an inch from his neck.

But that sharp Wind Slash still slapped wildly on his face.

"Land, eagle."

"Yes sir! No problem sir! Already landed, sir!"

Idelos instantly sobered up, his clothes drenched in sweat, feeling as though he sobered up all at once.

"You’re a minstrel, in what field exactly?"

"I’m well-rounded, sir! Know a little about everything, sir! Whatever you need, please feel free to instruct , sir!"

Lette surveyed the surroundings, "I ask you, did your newly appointed unfortunate vice president take anything from here?"

"Sir, the council mbers here engage in dirty deeds every day, taking things ho is even more common behavior.

Are you referring to anything specific?"

"Ancient!"

"Too... too broad, sir?"

Hearing the boss was looking for sothing ancient and missing, Grandet imdiately started looking around the hall anxiously.

Finally, he seed to discover a new world, pointing at the largest bronze statue in the center of the hall, shouting.

"Gone! Gone! That one’s gone!"

"What? What’s gone?"

Lette looked in the direction he was pointing, "Whose statue is this?"

"Sir, this is the statue of the first Holy Temple Council President, Leslie! Alas! Indeed it’s gone!"

"Tell ! What’s missing?"

"Armor! It’s the armor!"

Excitedly pointing at the statue, "Originally, this statue was wearing armor! A complete set!"

Lette scrutinized up and down, "Feels like this statue is one piece now. Are you sure there was armor before?"

"Yes! I’m very sure! Those permanent councilors once ca for money, claiming it was for the maintenance of this statue’s armor!"

Lette’s gaze fell on Idelos, who imdiately caught on.

"Sir, I know everything! The tale of Leslie, I can recite it too! Would you like to hear the full version, or a sung rendition?

If sung, I’ll need to fetch my instrunt!"

"Explain within 140 characters!"

"As you wish! Sir!"

Idelos took a deep breath, "The legendary first Holy Temple Council President helped the Goddess win the War of Gods. But to put a check on tyrants, he signed a contract with the Divine.

When the Church Court reneges, when the Divine ceases to be kind! Soone will inherit his will, donning his Light Hunting Armor!

To save everything!

Less than 100 characters! Sir, are you satisfied?"

Lette frowned, "Light Hunting Armor?"

"When the Light ceases to be kind to all beings, it’s ant to hunt, that’s roughly the intent."

"So, it’s a set of armor specifically restraining the Holy Light God Church?"

Idelos nodded repeatedly, "According to the legendary poem, that’s how it’s depicted, sir.

But up until now, it’s only worn on the statue to commorate the great achievents of the first Holy Temple Council President and has never shown any true power.

Additionally, this bronze statue is a full three or four ters tall, while the first President was just an ordinary person.

Whether this armor is the sa one he wore back then is still in question!"

Lette rubbed his chin, lost in thought, "Hmm..."

At this mont, Grandet suddenly shouted, "Boss, there’s sothing written on the statue’s base!"
