The Gate of Truth really seed to be losing its defenses a bit.
"What? Has he found another breakthrough point? Is it never-ending?"
The Third Apostle clutched his hair, his eyes full of terror and madness.
The nearby Divine still tried to console him: "Actually, this might not an anything, perhaps it’s a program error?"
"Program error? Why don’t you show a program error?"
The Third Apostle gritted his teeth: "We are all conceptual level strongn, there’s no need to deceive ourselves.
Moreover, the basic frawork of this world was planned and woven by us.
A chanical species whisk chose to commit suicide!
This is sufficient to illustrate that this chanical species has developed self-awareness!
Everyone should understand what self-awareness is, and be very clear that the carrier of self-awareness is the soul and flesh!
This is a completely new situation beyond our expectations!
No one knows what kind of changes this newly born chanical species might bring!
If, if such things increase in number, what kind of transformation will occur, do we have contingency plans?"
The Gods exchanged glances, all wearing expressions of confusion.
Although they had previously prepared a lot of materials and plans, such unimaginable events were certainly impossible to prepare for.
"The current plan!"
The Tenth Apostle slamd the table and got up: "We should take the initiative to strike!"
"Take the initiative to strike?"
"Yes!"
The Tenth Apostle pounded his fist onto the map at the position of Wright Industrial Park: "Although we don’t know what’s happening, nor do we know what changes this newly born soulful chanical species might bring.
But as long as we physically eliminate the opponent, then these problems won’t be problems anymore.
At least in the short term, we won’t have to worry.
We are now, strong and well-equipped! We have plenty of guns and cannons!
Perhaps, it won’t be long before more new chanical species pop up.
But now, there is only one! The number is still within controllable range.
We should try to nip the crisis in the bud!
I know Lette is very powerful, and everyone is unwilling to confront him head-on.
But if we are only responsible for holding the opponent back, and let the military chanical species handle the rest, wouldn’t that be better?
These war machines have been equipped with the most advanced technology of our Gate of Truth!
Not to ntion, their combat power is beyond doubt!
Anyway, a few tens of thousands of war machines against a civilian chanical species industrial park!
The advantage is ours!
What do you all think?"
The Gods fell into deep thought. They chose the Netherworld Life and Death Chess to avoid direct conflict with Lette.
This way, they could maximize their advantages while avoiding their own casualties.
The Gate of Truth is not a very tight-knit organization. Perhaps the lower-level mbers are very devout and fervent.
But due to the nature of the Gate of Truth, the upper-level and core mbers lack much devotion and enthusiasm.
They gather under the banner of the Gate of Truth, plainly speaking, because there are benefits to be had.
This bunch of guys, rational to the extre, are even colder-blooded than typical organization mbers.
Simply put, they are a group of extre egoists!
Of course, they are unwilling to put themselves at risk.
While everyone was hesitating, two lower-level mbers responsible for monitoring Lette’s side suddenly shouted in horror.
"It’s bad! It’s bad! The number of new chanical species has suddenly increased by more than a dozen!"
"What, how is that possible?"
Another mber quickly confird: "Absolutely true! And this speed is still accelerating! It won’t be long before they will form a small group."
This ti, the problem beca serious.
The rate at which the opponent’s numbers were proliferating far exceeded their expectations.
In fact, the followers of the Gate of Truth couldn’t be blad for this because their understanding of chanical species was still stuck at the ordinary level of the Favoured.
One must know that for a normal Favoured, achieving an evolutionary upgrade would take thousands of years.
This is considered fast.
That’s why, when Lette ca up with the adaptive magic plants, so many Gods were shocked.
In their view, completing an evolution in one or two generations is already unimaginably fast.
And the chanical species surpasses the magic plants 2.0 in every way!
The speed of chanical species’ upgrade and evolution can almost be described as abnormal!
What they didn’t know was that Lette had a natural intelligence advantage regarding chanical species.
The mbers of the Gate of Truth were visibly panicking.
But at this critical juncture, there wasn’t any more room for hesitation. Continuing to wait would likely result in total destruction.
By then, the fun would be imnse.
This many big fish, none of them could escape! All would be wiped out by Lette!
Perhaps falling into the hands of other strongn might still offer room for negotiation.
But for Lette, the Gate of Truth is an organization that must be destroyed. All mbers within the Gate of Truth need to be eradicated as pests.
When people have a choice, they will never choose to coexist with pests.
Once in Lette’s hands, submission and conditions are irrelevant.
Their absence is what matters to Lette.
This has been proven ti and again, and the mbers of the Gate of Truth harbored no illusions.
"Attack! We must destroy the enemy as quickly as possible!"
"Damn it, we should have attacked long ago, wiped them out before they could beco a threat!"
These Divines began their post-event shouting, and the face of the Third Apostle beca unusually grim.
"Assemble all our advantageous forces! Imdiately move towards the enemy! We must eliminate the enemy before the situation further deteriorates!
However..."
He glanced at his factory: "We need to leave so people behind to guard against Lette suddenly sneaking in and destroying our key facilities.
The risks of advancing and staying back are equivalent, so everyone can choose for themselves."
This group of guys, each more cunning than a monkey, was indeed in a dilemma.
Just as the Third Apostle said, the danger of going and staying is the sa. Lette may well launch a surprise attack when their main force is away.
And this probability is hard to determine.
After all, Lette is known for being unpredictable in his actions.
Seeing everyone dithering and not taking a stand, the Third Apostle, well aware of his companions’ traits, sighed deeply.
"Draw lots then! In this world, there’s no Path to God, nor is there any luck blessing, everyone looks at their fate."
For the upper echelons of the Gate of Truth to ultimately need to draw lots to decide whether to go or stay was sowhat undignified.
Everyone’s face was red, but they tacitly agreed to this thod.
Undignified or not, it was better than letting the enemy grant them dignity.
"Troops assemble first! Once we’ve divided into groups, we’ll move out imdiately!"
