The one who was taking the lead wore armor and looked like he was in his middle ages. His aura was terrifying and boiling to the brim.
The man behind him wore a Taoist robe and rode on a sword that was approaching the crowd.
Many people couldn’t imdiately recognize the two, but it didn’t take long for them to identify the middle-aged man in armor as the Great Ancestor of the Jiang family.

Many gasped right away. They knew that the Great Ancestor was actually far older than the great elder of the clan whom Lu Xuan just killed. In comparison, that great elder had only just made it into old age.
On the other hand, the great ancestor was probably approaching a near-death state. He was only able to make an announcent of him still being alive by making an appearance during his birthdays.
That was all there was to it.
However, having made an appearance looking like a middle-aged man and brimming with life, he looked like anything but soone who was about to die. That could’ve been because he had broken through the Divine Transformation Realm, just like how it had been with the sacred ancestor all those years ago.
Another possibility was that he had actually burned away all of his lifeforce during that period, returning to his peak just to fight his last.
