After entering, a well-mannered servant ca forward. The servant smiled and asked Lu Xuan, “Welco to the Listening Pavilion, young master. Are you here to buy or sell information?”
Lu Xuan replied, “I want to buy so information!”
The servant said with great confidence, “What kind of information is young master after? As long as it exists in this world, there is nothing we don’t know!”
Lu Xuan said, “I want to know about the situation of the Liu family in Tianyu City, located in the Central Province.”
With the very little information given to him by his mother, Lu Xuan was basically looking for a needle in a haystack.
Lu Xuan was also helpless on his own. If he wanted information about the Liu family, he had to seek out the Listening Pavilion.
Upon hearing Lu Xuan’s response, the smile on the servant’s face suddenly faded away. Even the servant’s voice beca a little sharp as he said, “The Liu family?”
Lu Xuan frowned. He seed to have realized sothing from the servant’s expression. He quietly asked, “Wait, do you guys have no information on the Liu family?”
The servant imdiately returned to his senses and quickly said, “We do, but any information of the Liu family is rather expensive; you’d need 10,000 mid-tier spirit stones to get that information!”
Lu Xuan nodded and said, “No problem!”
He had realized that sothing was wrong. There always seed to have been sothing unusual about the Liu family. Just inquiring about their information would’ve cost him 10,000 spirit stones.
After handing over the required amount of spirit stones, he was soon taken to a VIP room by the servant to wait.
A mont later, the servant brought over a piece of jade bamboo slip and handed it to Lu Xuan. Everything about the Liu family had been recorded onto this piece of jade slip.
anwhile, a square-faced middle-aged man had also arrived wearing gorgeous clothes. After he walked in, he said, “Sir, this is all the information regarding the Liu family. May I please know your surna?”
“Lu!”
Lu Xuan grabbed the jade slip and began to look through the information written on it. However, when he finished reading the information, the expression on his face suddenly changed. Once he finished reading it, however, the expression on his face suddenly changed to a look of anger.
“How dare they!”
Lu Xuan gritted his teeth. He was so angry that he could hardly control his anger.
Lu Xuan looked at the middle-aged supervisor and asked, “Is everything written on here true?”
The middle-aged supervisor nodded and said, “Yes, we can assure you that everything written on there is true. Our Listening Pavilion sells information for a living. Naturally, we would never lie about this!”
The middle-aged supervisor looked at Lu Xuan. Suddenly, blue veins popped out on his forehead, as if he had seen a ghost.
He thought to himself, ‘This young man seed to have so sort of relationship with the Liu family. That must be why he beca so angry after reading the news.’
He simply found Lu Xuan to be an enigma; it seed as if he did not have any experience in cultivation at all. Once Lu Xuan beca angry, however, the middle-aged man suddenly felt all the hairs on his body standing on end.
The servant just said that a young man, who seed to have no experience in cultivation, had arrived asking for information on the Liu family. That was why the middle-aged man ca in out of curiosity.
Now, however, he wanted nothing more than to kill that servant; the young man did not look like he had no experience in cultivation at all. The middle-aged man had been so scared that all of his hairs stood on end; the young man must’ve been a scary expert.
Lu Xuan clenched his fists. Even with his state of mind, he could not help but be furious. When he thought of Just thinking about the information recorded about the Liu family enraged him even further.
According to what was recorded, the Liu family had been completely wiped out; not a single mber of the family remained!
