Chapter 269: A Monkey Calling himself King

All of the mbers of the Guin Sect looked extrely glum. There had never been anyone who had even dared to gatecrash their sect, let alone actually killing one of their own before them all.

That old sectmaster finally realized who the young man before him was, after that dead disciple called Lu Xuan out.

That young man was none other than Lu Xuan, the man who was known to be the number one renowned throughout the world quite so ti ago.

There were even rumors saying that he was currently the number one found throughout the whole world.

He was not simply putting up airs, as his renown was cented by the deaths of two of the three elders of the Vampiric Empire.

Count Dracula died by Lu Xuan’s hands right before everyone, and the other elder, Lilith, was hunted down in a pursuit that was over tens of thousands of kiloters long.

While the Vampiric Empire never made a clear statent about Lilith’s current whereabouts, but those who were adept at gathering intelligence had nonetheless found out what happened.

Lilith was killed by Lu Xuan.

She had simply trapped Lu Xuan using so special ans before she perished.

Technically-speaking, Lu Xuan should not have been able to appear ever again.

The sectmaster, at the mont, hated the one who told him of the news regarding Lu Xuan.

Lu Xuan, at the mont, did not look like soone being trapped in the vampires’ ancestral land. On the contrary, not only did he survive, he had actually escaped said ancestral land as well.

Even though the news ca from the vampires themselves, he felt that the news could not have been more wrong.

“You trying to take soone away from our sect? I’m afraid there has never been such a precedent before!”

The sectmaster of the Guin Sect retorted in fury. It was apparent that he saw Lu Xuan to be beneath him.

In his eyes, Lu Xuan was but soone who had only been able to co so far in cultivation due to so unknown encounters, when spirit qi began to be restored to the world.

It was more than a year ago since Lu Xuan went about making enemies throughout the world.

There were hardly any noteworthy cultivators at Celestial Realm to be had among the entire human race back then, which he saw to be the reason that Lu Xuan was able to reign supre.

However, things were different at the mont. The sectmaster was also at Celestial Realm, and he saw himself to be every bit on par with that young man.

As such, he was not afraid at all.

He simply deed that it was a case of a monkey calling himself king in the mountains, due to there not being a tiger around.

He saw Lu Xuan to be that monkey who had never t a tiger.

“No precedent? Well, that’s before you et .”

Lu Xuan comnted casually.

“Attack!”

The sectmaster shouted and the remaining disciples of the Guin Sect rose in an instant, heading straight for Lu Xuan.

“You people are in way over your heads.”

Lu Xuan snorted coldly, not giving those people, who were all practicing heretical, evil arts any chance at all.

The man who ca first at Lu Xuan before everyone else was an elder at Invincible Vajra level.

Boom!

That elder was cut down right there and then by Lu Xuan, with a swing of the sword.

That elder’s Shield of Vigor was hardly worth ntioning before Lu Xuan’s frightening sword aura.

Although all of them were powerful mbers of the Guin Sect, they had no chance against Lu Xuan in terms of speed.

“You guys have thick skulls, I see. So you all see yourselves to be honey badgers then?” A sarcastic smirk was seen on Lu Xuan’s face.

The sectmaster, the disciples and the elders were considered a piece of cake, when compared to the vengeful spirits that he had to take on earlier.

It could even be said that he had a far better ti hitting them.

The disciples did not squirm at seeing one of their own, who was an elder of Invincible Vajra level, being killed by a swing of the sword. Those disciples of the Guin Sect seed to all be agitated instead, charging at Lu Xuan with bloodshot eyes.

Boom!

Lu Xuan threw a punch at one of the incoming disciples, bringing him to the ground, which was cracked and a crater was ford right there and then.

That disciple was unable to do more than shriek in terror, before he was killed on the spot.

There were even more disciples of the sect ganging up on Lu Xuan by then, making them every bit like the vengeful spirits he just took on.

None of them were able to reach Lu Xuan, who was being enveloped by that golden dragon conjured using his Spiritual Qi.

He was able to even tore two unprepared disciples apart simply by walking past them.

Precisely-put, those disciples did not even expect their Shield of Vigor would be so easily torn apart by Lu Xuan.

Boom!

Boom!

Boom!

Every single punch from Lu Xuan felt like a shell traveling at high speeds, blasting the disciples to shreds or tearing them apart, every ti his attacks connected with their targets.

His speed was so insanely frightening, that he ended up killing over half of them in re monts.

The old sectmaster was finally unable to sit around seeing all that happened. He then broke out that bone flute he kept at his side.

A tune from the bone flute was heard.

An impossibly huge vengeful spirit was seen erging from the sky around them.

Every note the sectmaster played on that bone flute seed to be able to summon a terrifying vengeful spirit right away.

Those were deed generals among the vengeful spirits.

Not everyone had such abilities. Those vengeful spirit generals were apparently taller and more powerful than the common ghostly troops, standing over three ters in height.

Their garb and other details like facial features, suggested that they were a lot more tangible than those vengeful spirits Lu Xuan took on before.

Those beings were the trump card that the old sectmaster of the Guin Sect truly relied on. Their powerful heretical sect had been notorious among the nearby mountains, back before spirit qi was restored.

He was able to easily kill any enemy, no matter how powerful, simply by summoning those generals.

Those were experiences gained from fighting multiple battles. No one had been able to take on such a behemoth before.

Boom!

Boom!

Two such monsters moved at deceptively high speeds, and the entire place seed to shake alongside them as they moved.

Boom!

A general brandished a very huge ancient sword, then swinging the blade right at Lu Xuan’s direction at that mont.

Clang!

Everyone seed to be able to hear Lu Xuan reacting frantically. However, he was instead surprisingly able to catch that terrifying attack before any of them knew, using only two of his fingers.

“How could this be possible!?”

The old sectmaster comnted, feeling very, very baffled at what just happened.

He acted as if he was the one who had just seen a ghost, seeing how Lu Xuan actually managed to catch that sword attack with such ease.

However, he had no ti to continue thinking at the very next second, as Lu Xuan pointed his finger at the general, blasting a bolt of lightning right through that specter.

Boom!

A large hole was seen being bored at that general’s chest in an instant.

A huge crack ford on the bone flute on the sectmaster’s hand at the sa ti.

That general was the spirit that was connected directly with that bone flute. With the general taking such a severe hit, it was only natural for the bone flute to be severely damaged as well.

Pfft!

The sectmaster was sent reeling back as blood spilled from his mouth.
